I needed a truck and decided to purchase from this dealership. Salesman was nice, finance wasn't big that's a story for another time.... I've had the BRAND NEW Silverado truck 1500 for 3 weeks. I haven't made my first payment and I haven't even got my plates in the mail yet. A week ago, the dashboard went out. The screen wasn't working, sound, back up camera, navigation, you name it and it was working. So I called service. Can you imagine spending $60k on ur first brand new vehicle in ur life and you have to take it in for repairs before you even make ur 1st payment? Frustrating, disappointing. So I called and asked to make an appointment on Monday but it was Labor Day. I called first thing Tuesday morning and was told they are simply too busy to look at my vehicle but I should drive it up on Wednesday morning. It's about 15 miles away. So this morning I drove it to the dealership. Got here around 0830 and was told they "should" be able to "look at it" before noon. You would think a 3 week old, brand new vehicle should not have to go in for servicing for a while, and if it did, it would be a priority. Yet, here I sit writing a review about the issue. It is now 3 pm and I have no more patience. I walked over to the service rep who was simply condescending and arrogant. I asked iff my truck was ready. He said, "Oh, yea we have to order parts and it will be a few days. do you wan t a ride home?" Huh, 6 hours waiting and I have to approach you to inquire about service? I told him I expected a rental vehicle. He shrugged and said I would have to speak to his manager. I asked where he was and the rep just shrugged. I walked back in to the sales floor room where I paid $60K for my truck and started telling all the customers never to buy from here. It's a rip off and don't care once you leave with a new car. The sales manager came out and we spoke. He told me I would have to be polite and humble if I wanted help. I told him what he could do with a demand before I receive service. He walked over to service and the rep straight yup lied stating he told me he would "of course" get me a rental and he is calling the manager now. So ones we are inside he runs our credit score and he told us so you guys have a 620 credit score so you'll need 5 to 10 percent down-payment to get this truck and your payments will be a little bit over $1000 per month just to let you know. Came to MC Chevy on a rainy Sunday after a day of car shopping. Now the mood is set, let me share my surprising experience. Rami greeted me with a smile and was nothing but helpful. He listened to what I wanted and showed me all of my options. Even though MC has a large inventory, I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. At no point was he pushy: he just smiled, laughed and continued showing me my options. Unfortunately, it seemed like what I wanted was not possible, so I left. Wonder why they only respond to positive reviews So...I took my 2020 Silverado in on Wednesday for a couple of issues. They said $250 for each issue. First is transmission.Sometimes shifts rough. Advisor checked carfax and history showed previous leasee also reported transmission issue but they could not find anything wrong.. Other issue is rough idle when I come to a stop. Advisor says they can check transmission next day and get back to. Idle would have to wait till Monday . I hear nothing all weekend. I call Monday and they say they are checking transmission and will get back to me. Nothing. I call Tuesday and they said it showed no error codes. So,finally Wednesday, she put me on a call with technician. He is asking what issues I'm having. I tell him and then they tell me they'll get back to me. She tells me it shows no code so everything is fine so they can do nothing about the rough idle. Pretty much deal with the problems. Then when I get in the truck, there is a flyer about the transmission and that even though it shifts rough,it is fine. Only 26,000 miles and I have to deal with these issues.Back in 2003 ,o bought a brand new Silverado and ended up getting rid of it with only 37,000 miles because I took it in twice to get the front steering replaced twice. And dash lights stopped working. Rattled all the time.Engine knockednand I got a flyer about that too I have been receiving letters from attorneys saying my truck could be a lemon. He took the time to speak to me for 30 minutes before I ever made an appointment to come in to see a vehicle. then the day I came in he lined up four trucks next to each other for me to review and test drive. I've never had that much attention to detail on a car sale in my life. He was extremely knowledgeable and caring and took into consideration my price budget, and the vehicle I really wanted. I had a trade-in so it took the new truck to the back to get detailed then came back with my trade-in and the new truck so that I could move things over to the new truck. He then spent another 40 minutes, showing me all the features of the truck and to add more great customer service he offered to drive to my house which was 30 minutes away to have my wife sign off the DMV release form. So let me start by saying the salesman was amazing 10/10. He showed me every car i wanted. Didnt rush me when i couldnt make up my mind between two cars. Kept going back for keys and was very knowledgeable about the cars. He helped me with the financing when we didnt get approved by the first bank and he made sure we got approved. Thats where my great part of the review ends. Financing seemed like he wanted to rush me through the paperwork when i asked to go through it all individually. I found they were charging me $1,500 for the anti theft stuff they install on the cars. The sticker on the windshield says 300.... I told him this and he seemed confused, I made him walk out with me to show him the sticker on every car from the the corvette to the pre-owned toyotas had the same sticker on the windshield. He said something about oh hes sorry it was left over from the gap insurance but the bank didnt approve the additional amount... then why was it still on my paperwork you were rushing me to sign... they fixed it and then i asked them to wash the car before i left. When i came out and am handed my keys I am given two keys that look like they were chewed on I could literally see the internals of the keys.... I asked what this was about and he said they had no other keys he will get me a new one. I bought the car friday. Monday i checked in he said that someone would call me by thursday. Thursday no one called. Monday no one called. Fast forward to the next Thursday I reach out and am told hes asking his managers hes trying to get it solved. I like the salesman i honestly believe him that management is probably blowing it off. The keys dont work I have to manually lock the car doors and i honestly dont even know if the alarm is coming on when i press the button to lock doors. Im bummed they hid it from me til i had signed and was ready to leave. and now the lack of response ruined the whole experience. 10/10 salesman i hope he finds a better dealership to work at. 0/10 management and finance. read more
