What a waste of time. Tried to set everything up over the phone. They even had me do a credit app online and I did. Told them we would be there at 5pm. Called at 430 to let them know we were five minutes out. Next thing you know sales person calls us as we are rounding the corner to say the car was sold and they don't have anymore at the deal. I walked in upset and when I vented to a supposed manger he stayed"If you don't like it then f@&%# leave." went to Thorson GMC and not only picked up the SUV we wanted for the wife but also picked up a 2019 3500hd. This review is for the Chevrolet Service center. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a dealership. The appointments do no good and there is almost zero communication from the service advisors. My truck was not running right with an obvious misfire and I made an appointment for my wife to drop it off on a Friday around lunch time. Towards the end of the day we hadn't heard from them, so my wife called to see if they had any info on what was wrong. The service advisor handling it, Matt, said that they didn't have time to get to it and would need to keep it Saturday. This wasn't a problem so I said ok. Towards closing time on Saturday, still no word so I called again. Again, Matt said that they didn't have time to get to it. I was expecting it to be at least diagnosed after a day and a half. Because of this, I picked up my truck as I needed it to go to work Monday. On Monday afternoon, I took it to Mountain View Chevrolet in Upland. They got me a rental car for the day and got the issue fixed by Tuesday Afternoon. This is the second time that something like this has happened at Mark Christopher Chevrolet. The first time Matt tried to tell me it would take three days to do the front brakes. Three days for just the front brakes? Really? I can do it in my driveway in two hours at most, I just didn't want to so I took it to the dealer. He also acted like we were bothering him by calling and he hung up on my wife when she tried calling. The only reason that I went back was because the Cadillac Service Manager made it right by guaranteeing it would be done the next day and gave us a discount for the horrible customer service. I had to speak to the Cadillac Service Manager because the Chevy Service Manager was nowhere to be found. I also asked to have someone other than Matt handle my account but somehow I keep ending up with him. Bottom line, I will never go back to this dealership for anything as the service appointments mean nothing and the advisors are rude. If you need your Chevy fixed in a timely manner, take it to Mountain View Chevrolet in Upland. read more

I took my Cadillac Escallade in for service. I wanted an oil change, a light bulb change, and a small hubcap replacement for the rim on my tire. It cost me $500. The mark up cost for this service is completely unfair and injustice to us customers. $123 for the hubcap, $250 for the light bulb replacement, $89 for oil change and tire rotation. I also have a recurring problem with my Navigation disk, I took my car in 3 times, the first one I was still under warranty, but they did some sort of re program and got the navigation to work right for some time. Next time they said it was the radio, they replaced it. It has happened again, now it's the disk and they will not replace it, so I have to go online and replace it myself. When it was the disk the whole time, and they could have replaced the disk 3 years ago. When I asked to speak with the Manager Matt. He basically told me I had a choice if I don't like their prices and services to take my car elsewhere. I know I have a choice, but like most people we want Cadillac specialist to work on our cars, but dont want or expect to be taken to the cleaners financially. I will definitely, stay far away from this overcharging and unprofessional managment dealership. read more

Very disappointed in the service that my fiancé had. She brought her 2017 Chevy Malibu to get serviced due to possible recalls on the car and her vehicle turning off completely when it went to auto stop. We took the vehicle Monday November 4, 2019. When it was all said and done they said it was spark plugs and fuses so it was not the recall. After the service was completed the blue tooth to the vehicle stopped working and and it was acting up. The dealer representative then apologized and we made an appointment for this coming up Monday 11-11-19 to see what was wrong. Well today as she was getting off the freeway the car completely turns off and would not turn back on. She was stranded in the middle of the freeway off ramp in traffic. Luckily we have triple A and they towed it to Mark Christopher Dealer so they can see what was wrong. Turns out it was the battery as they said the battery was bad and it would cost $320 to replace but since we have conducted business with us before they will knock off 75 to make it $245. I'm very disappointed in the service as this could of been all avoided if they told us Monday hey your battery is bad. But on the paperwork they say the battery was in good condition. But they want to charge her diagnostic fees for what for us to come back 5 days later and this to happen. Very disappointed in the service and management there. The experience was horrible, we took our SUV in for a recurring engine problem (engine kept shuddering as if it was gonna stall when it reaches a certain gear shift) that we've been having and the staff pretty much didn't want to believe us that the problem exist because they said every time they checked from previous encounters the problem was not there. The staff was very rude and condescending. I only gave a 2 star just because after talking to the manager they finally decided to do something and look at our vehicle more closely. I would have preferred to give it a zero or one. Then even after they said they found the problem and said they had fixed the issue, we took the SUV home and still felt the vehicle shudder and shake when the engine shifted gear. Suffice it to say, they never fixed the SUV's problem that we've been complaining about since the beginning of the year. Update 7/28/16 : Been in contact with the head of their service department, who's been very helpful, since I posted my review. They are working on fixing the issue with our SUV, taking longer than expected to fix, but they have been giving us updates. read more

Been coming here for years. Last year we purchased our 2016 GMC Denali in mint condition for a great price. We showed up at like 10pm and we were waited on patiently and finally found the best deal for us and left there with the best car for our family. I usually pull up through the Cadillac side where Dario or Nobu have always helped me check in and get the service paperwork done. They are so polite and professional. My car only gets fixed by the best technician there which is Manny Chavez (25+ yrs GM certified)! Ask for him always, he never disappoints and gets the job done fast. I needed my 2003 Cadillac SLS serviced I went to Mark Christopher Auto Center in Ontario California based on a recommendation from Jeff who is a service writer at Claremont Auto in Claremont California. When I arrived I was treated great. Unfortunately the Cadillac was a losing proposition due to needing way too much work. I ask the service writer if he could hold off on a decision about the repairs while I walked across the way and spoke with sales in the Cadillac area. I met with Gerald Waters who was extremely professional and attentive in answering my questions and matching my needs with the right vehicle and program. I highly recommend this location. I have not been really fond of car buying in the past. I have bought and sold many vehicles both new and used over the years from various locations and various makes and models. First of they robbed me for over $500 for front brakes. I could of took them to my local mechanic and got them changed for a fraction of that cost!! But I figured the dealer would do a good job and I have always took my truck here. So After their terrible brake job, I take the truck back only after 10k miles driven on the new brakes. The brakes were making a loud squeaky noise. After 3hours they tell me there's nothing wrong and that brakes normally make a squeaky noise? Lmao I don't fall for that so u had them but my truck on the lift and I inspected them myself. The pads were ok but All that was needed to fix the noise was for my rotors to be resurfaced. The manager didn't want to approve a $140 service he wanted me to pay for them, but the brakes were still under warranty and they obviously did a terrible job on my rotors. I drove the truck over 35k Miles before I needed any service. So after they touch the truck I need service only after 10k miles. But Jeff congratulations you just lost a customer. For everyone that thinks the dealership will do a good job just because they charge ridiculous prices, your absolutely wrong!! After thought and consideration we have decided to post this review. We have been coming to MC since 2006 after purchasing a brand new Hummer H2 for all our service needs, have since got a Cadillac and have brought that for all its service needs! We have never had any problems until about the last two visits when dealing with new service advisors. The customer service we received yesterday from Nabou (spelling may be wrong) was absolutely uncalled for and defiantly not expected. We trust these guys with our cars, and hope they will be as honest and loyal to us as we are to them. We started with a quote to fix an issue on the car that ended up being almost 3 times the start amount, and when we told them we were going to hold off for the moment we were given an inspection bill! We were never told there was a fee to inspect what we already knew was wrong with the vehicle. Nabou went on to say "well you signed the paper, do you always sign things without reading them?" We were not told verbally and this was more of a surprise than anything and was not told in a respectful way that there would be a fee. You MUST sign there papers, otherwise they will not allow you to leave your vehicle. The money isn't the issue, it's the way you treat your loyal customer who you have since lost! You acknowledge the misunderstanding and try to make it right regardless on whose end it came from and move forward. Maybe customer service courses will make for a better team at MC. Lastly, I wanted to thank Wade H, service manager for his time, help and understanding in trying to make this issue right. We greatly appreciate your time and effort in the mix up. When arriving at the dealer for my service on my Chevy Cruze I was told that it would take about 2 hours for my car to be done. It took almost 4.5 hours for it to actually be done. The fact that I had an appointment seemed to not make anything go faster. If I did not have free service on my car I would not go to the dealership to get the service done. It took more than 2 hours for them to even take my car to the back to start the oil change. Not to mention this is not the first time it has taken 4 plus hours for service on my car at this location. Both times I have been here, with an appointment, it has taken 4 hours or longer. If I would have known I would be at he dealership from before 10am until almost 230 I would have not waited for my car at all. This Chevy dealer is about 45 minutes from my house and the only reason I went back was because it is where I purchased my car. read more

Haven't had a good experience with this dealership and service center. Bought a brand new Escalade here in December 2019 and for over 4 months have been having non stop issues and have proof on video multiple like 10+ incidents where the mechanics and computer are not working properly. The automatic lift gate closed without anyone pushing a button almost crushed my 2 year old, automatic pedals drop to the floor and won't adjust to my height so am unable to drive it, the volume to the radio will raise as loud as it goes and is stuck at full blast, the mirrors fold in while driving, memory seats delete and reset on their own. And this is just what I can remember off the top of my head. And because it hasn't happened in front of the technicians they won't help us or repair anything. Our multiple videos of it happening won't suffice which doesn't make any sense. We drop it off and they literally do nothing every single time. We have wasted hours on hours trying to get help and no one helps. GM corporate won't help us, this dealership hasn't been any help. We will never purchase another Cadillac or GM vehicle again. Ever!!! We pay over $1,300 a month for this car and so disappointed in the make and the customer service. Don't buy anything from this dealership if you want good customer service. read more

Delano Charles is a good man. I was waiting in the services department for my car, and he took me over to the see the new 2017 Chevy. From that point on he did everything in his power to help me get into a new car. He is honestly a genuine good man, I didn't feel like I was pressured into a new car. Everyone was very nice and the shuttle driver was super nice. But they never called to tell me my car was ready, I finally had to call and ask. The service guy told the shuttle driver I didn't need a ride, but I did, so no clue why he told him that. And then, after I paid my bill, I had to wait 15 minutes for them to bring my car to me. This process could definitely be improved. If they know the shuttle driver has gone to get me, then why don't they have my car ready? read more
