When I took my car in yesterday for regular maintenance, I received that great service again from Julie Escobar who was my Service Advisor, Jeff Rizzi, Kenny B. who was the Courtesy Car driver, and the Service Department workers. I've dealt with other dealerships and service departments with cars that I've owned in the past and I never found the high level of service and interest that I've found at Mark Christopher Auto Center. My Cadillac broke down on the I-10 about 26 miles from Mark Christopher Auto Center on a Sunday evening; I wanted the work done there because of their reputation. The tow truck driver dropped my car off there and I left the key in the night depository with an explanation of what had happened (major fuel line leak). Nobu Domon called me at 7am the next morning to explain the diagnostic charges, etc, and I gave him the 'go ahead' to analyze the problem. He called a couple hours later to tell me what was wrong, and that it could be repaired for $305 (I expected much more)! The car was ready by 1pm that afternoon. If you live more than 10 miles from Mark Christopher in Ontario do not buy a car there because the service departments service will drive u nuts. I bought a new car at MC around a year ago and I've had it serviced twice. That would be 4 rides in the courtesy van but that didn't happen. The first visit I was the first one waiting for a ride. An hour later the van was filled with people who arrived after me. The driver said he couldn't take me because I was out of his 15 mile radius so he left without me. I had to pitch a b until they finally gave me a ride home and get my own ride back there to pick up my car. I complained to management which I believe is what led up to the second visit nightmare. Before I had to go back for a second service call I went to AAA to get some maps of the area. I cut a string 15 miles and matched the string to the map key. There are many ways to get from my home in Rialto to MC in Ontario, that are within 15 miles. The second time I needed service I confirmed a ride before I took my car in, and I called after I got home to be sure they would pick me up as well. I was assured I would have a ride no problem BUT During my second service call nightmare I had to pay an Uber to get home because when Rodney saw me he went outside and sent the service vehicle on without me even though I was finished with check in and ready to go. He said, "I sent the van on, it was ALMOST full it will be back in AN HOUR AND A HALF." I was nice about it. I said, that's OK I'll just take an Uber. " Not even a half hour after I I got home the driver called my home phone to offer me a ride home. Later that day a different driver called several times to let me know that they couldn't give me a ride back to the dealership to pick up my car. He called until I picked up the phone and then talked over me when I tried to discuss the matter with him so it became argumentative. This driver told me they look at apps and one app said I live 40 miles away from MC. I live in Rialto. Mark Christopher is in Ontario. I asked him if he was driving in circles to get here. When I bought the car my sales person Moe who's awesome by the way, told me I could get rides for service in their courtesy van and anytime I call for service to make an appointment I ask about it and am told I will get a ride. Both times I spoke with Mgt. about the problems I was assured the problem would be resolved I dread taking my car there for service. Either service thinks I'm stupid, they don't need their jobs, or they know they can treat customers like crap and get away with it. After the first visit they knew I would complain they must know nothing will happen if I do because they took this as far as they could go and apparently it's OK because everybody who was there the first time this happened was still there the second time this happened. read more

Went with my wife to see if she could trade in her car for a truck, Jesse Reyna the sales man that helped her the year before lowballed us with her trade in that was only a year old, sounded like he was givin the sales man hand book on how to cheat customers with his inappropriate one liners and bad jokes!!!! This evening my son was on the website and saw a truck that he was interested in. Since today was the last day of the Chevy Holiday pricing, We called to see if the truck was on the lot. The gentleman that we spoke to was in Internet sales. We gave him stock number of the truck and he said it was there we told him we were on our way. About 5 minutes later he called back and said that price was incorrect that some other company outs the price in. Whatever....Hmmmm sounds like a "get you in the door" kind of deal. I called back to ask for a GSM or SALES MANAGER and was told one wasn't there. Every dealer I have been to has had to have a manager of some sort there at all times. We took a screen shot of pricing also. Not happy at all since they didn't even TRY to negotiate. Just told me that price was before upgrades???? This dealer is terrible. We bought our truck from them in Nov 2013. They told us to get the extended warranty which they led us to believe was just like their bumper to bumper warranty. We have gotten all the oil changes done, fixed all the recalls. I haven't had a problem until two weeks ago. I brought the truck in to get a recall fixed, took about and hour and a half, which is fine. When I checked in I asked them not to wash it because it usually take and extra 20 to 30 mins, and I had a 5 month old who would be cranky by the time they finished. I waited by the curb with a screaming 5 month old for 30 mins. When they finally bring it out, they drive right by me and go to park it across the parking lot. So I had to walk my 5 month old in 100+ degree heat across the parking lot. I then realized that they did wash it even though I said not too. Then the following week I discovered my a/c went out. So I called and made an appointment for the next morning. I showed up and told them we had a problem with a tube cracking last year that we g9t fixed under warranty. They said they would call me and I took the shuttle home. 3pm comes around and they STILL haven't looked at my truck, so they asked if they can keep it over night. I said fine but I need it BY friday. I call at 10 am the next morning and they told me that they were just now running diagnostics on it and she would call me in 30 to 45 mins. 12 pm rolls around and STILL no call. My husband calls back and said our advisor was on lunch. She didn't call me back till almost 2pm. They told me it was a cracked tube, but this time it's not covered under warranty. I told my husband and he called and told them I was coming to pick up the truck and it needs to be ready because we had somewhere to be. I get there and it wasn't ready for another hour and 15 mins. Once we worked out a deal with Chevrolet, I took my truck back. They kept it all day, and when my husband called to ask when it will be ready, they were rude and told me it will be ready at closing. I dropped it off at 8 with an appointment. Their service is horrible. The mechanics are slow and seem like they don't care about the customers. I won't be using Mark Christopher anymore. read more

I do not recommend the service department here to anyone. My car has been in the shop twice in the last 3 months for warranty work. The first time they said it would be a couple days. A couple days turned into over a week. The second time was this past week and I took my car in for one issue and they made it into another issue that wasn't covered under warranty. They wanted to charge over $400 and when I took my car somewhere else they said all the work wasn't necessay and I paid $150. They are a rip off! I tried talking to the service manager but he was never available. I have left him two messages and the service tech told him to call me and I've heard nothing! No customer service! I had walked to get food so I walked back only to find out that they didn't have a key for me. So they programmed the remote and now I have to go back in a day or 2 to get the key. I had only had my 2015 GMC Terrain for 3 months and had problems a few times already (not purchased from Mark Christopher). The Malfunction Indicator Lamp came on so I got in touch with my Extended warranty and based on previous experience with the dealership where I purchased the vehicle they did not want me to go back there so they sent me to Mark Christopher for service. I had never been there and expected the same service I had gotten at the other dealership NOT! Mark Christopher was the exact opposite! Samuel Aceves greeted me right when I walked in even though he was on the phone. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to know and even a little more about my extended warranty I did not know. Did not ask for any money, which another dealer did in Fontana to look at it even though I had my warranty with me. One of the technicians (Ernesto) was outside and notices there was a pretty good size scratch on my door where I had hit scrapped up against the garage door. I explained what the insurance adjuster said it would take to fix the scratch and he said no no this is how you fix it, which meant a saving of hundreds of dollars! When I got a call back later to let me know what needed to be done to my car it was in a timely manner and my car was done before the end of the day AND Ernesto had taken it upon himself to buff out the scratch on my door just to be nice! It may not seem like much but what I have gone though with this car and it is only a 2015, since I bought it the end of Oct. from the evil dealership in La Puente just having this dealership be so professional take care of my car the right way the first time and do something so nice for no money that it huge in my book!
