This location is the absolute worst! I come here a few times a month because my kids like their INSANELY OVER PRICED breakfast. I have continued coming to this location because it is simply the closest one to me but it's anything but convenient. They have never once gotten my order correct. Trashcans outside are filled past capacity. It's 8 pm in the drive thru of McDonald's. It is dead. No customers. I ordered 4 burgers and a large fry. There's no one in the drive thru. Not before me. Not after. I pay, and get to the second window. They are very quick to park me. That's not how u treat a guest. When I Google it said they are open until 1:30am every day. Here on Yelp it says 24/7 but last night I went at 11:30pm and it was closed all around, even the lights outside around the restaurant where shut down, I can understand the walk in section been closed but drive-thru???? This is the worst McDonald's in the area. It's close to my house so I go here more than other locations. The food is what you expect but the service is consistently bad. The employees always have a bad attitude and act like they hate being there. They treat you like your not really there, hanging the bag out of the window with no acknowledgement. They never offer condiments, or cream and sugar for your coffee. The experience is not what you expect and not the experience I get at other locations. I know the employees may not be excited to be working there but it's their job. If you don't want to do it than don't. The worst! The employees are rude and treated customers more like a cattle call than customers. I walked in, with a broken foot (wearing a walking boot) and almost went to the ground. They had a caution wet floor sign up however these floors were not wet, they were oily and slippery. I almost went to the ground and had to hold on to the counter and walls the walk. As I came in and almost fell, I said "whoa this is slippery and dangerous." No one said anything so as I made it to the register to order, I said again, "wow, these floors are really slippery." It was jam packed on the freeway heading out to the Palm Springs area. We were getting very hungry so we pulled over to grab something quick at this McDonald's. McDonald's food is definitely not good for you, but at least they share how bad it is for you with the nutritional facts they put on each wrapper or box. We needed something quick and filling and this provided the fix. I've always found it is best to stay simple with McDonald's. We went with hamburgers and cheeseburgers and then their chicken McNuggets. Their hamburgers and cheeseburger are simple but okay (not In-N-Out but you could do worse). In terms of their chicken McNuggets, they use mostly white meat now. I remember when they used that more processed chicken mystery meat. Though these new McNuggets are probably better for you, the old processed ones were definitely more flavorful. The dipping sauces are okay--sweet and sour, honey, hot mustard, ranch, and barbecue sauce. I like their barbecue sauce better than other fast food places. McDonald's uses that sweet tasting barbecue sauce while many other fast food places use that less sweet, bolder barbecue sauce. Like the chicken McNuggets, the apple pies are not what they used to be. They are baked now. They used to be deep fried--nice and crispy outside with a hot (very hot) apple center. McDonald's used to carry deep fried cherry pies too. But like the Chicken Littles at KFC (as reviewed by Jolie D.), the deep fried pies are no more. The service here was friendly and very quick. The decor was your standard McDonald's interior. This McDonald's was slightly smaller than other McDonald's locations. Food is consistent; service is not. Sometimes it's great...the last few times not so much. I was there with my 3 and 5 year olds fir lunch and our order was totally missed. Waited 15 minutes and asked; the manager and cashier whispered about who screwed up and blamed each other. No explanation to me; no apology. In fact, the manger pretended I wasn't standing there. Took another 10 minutes; I finally ditched the chicken sandwich and asked for a Big Mac as those were pumping out just fine. The manger tossed a Big Mac on my tray and walked away.
