Best car-buying experience EVER! I designed what I wanted on the Audi website and it connected me with McKenna, my nearby dealership we've been going to for maintenance on my old Audi A3 convertible since 2015. We lost our car to an accident in May and it was time to replace it. Benjamin M. was the first to reply to order with an email that they had my car on the floor. I was skeptical since I had customized everything online, and I was right to be because when I got there it was slightly different. The year was a 2019 not a 2020, and the color was black, not blue. Ben explained that it could take 4-6 months (or longer with COVID delays) to get the 2020 model in, and I knew by that time that the 2021's would be in. However, everything else I wanted was an exact match to my specs, including the tires, interior choices and luxury package. My family agreed that we all liked the blue, but this black was super classy and would be a nice change. Ben was able to knock off nearly $6k from what I was expecting to pay thanks to a promo they were running. I paid $10k down and I was credit cleared in about 5 minutes. In no-time, I was in Nicole's office choosing warranty options and wrapping up paperwork. Nicole was a machine, whipping through the pile of documents they required, and was super knowledgeable and transparent about the warranty options. I felt like I picked the best options based on my limited miles I drive and doing the math on repairs and maintenance from my last car (I'll definitely be saving some money over time). Within an hour I was out the door in my new Audi A5 Quattro convertible, top down and getting smiles and looks from other drivers. Ben was also able to hook up some swag from the store, including a key chain and hat. I also purchased a jacket and thermos to show my love for the brand. I never thought about purchasing an Audi until my husband and I randomly decided to go McKenna Audi to check out the Q5 for a test drive. I was long overdue for a new car and desperately in need for a SUV since we now have 2 kids, a 7 year old in a booster seat and a little one in a car seat. My BMW 528i was getting old and our family has outgrown our sedan. We were interested in a Range Rover Velar, Land Rover Discovery or Lexus RX350L. It's been almost 6 months since we've been looking (mostly online). Long story short, based on that first visit to McKenna and the YouTube videos of the Q5, my husband and I decided to pop into McKenna Audi, we met Brian Sarabia and we test drove the Q5 Premium Plus, black exterior with a black interior. I FELL IN LOVE! This car has everything, infotainment, safety sensors/features, sleek interior, super high tech, all in touch handwriting recognition, virtual cockpit, I was impressed! Unfortunately, we were mentally committed but we weren't financially ready that day to fully commit. Since that day, Brian and I have been communicating back and forth as far as which package I wanted, exterior/interior color, features etc. He never rushed me, he was always so polite, friendly, understanding, accommodating and an easy person to talk to. After a few weeks, we finally decided to come back again but this time with my Momager. Upon arrival, Brian was lining up the Q5's in the front according to my color choices and packages. He brought out a total of 4. By elimination of process, the Q5 Premium Plus I chose was the Manhattan Grey with black interior. Every time my husband saw the Q7 on the freeway, he was in love joking "wish we could get the Q7" or "the Q7 looks nice!" I asked Brian if we could see the Q7, he gets in it and my Momager in the passenger seat. My whole family was in awe. Q7 it was! During the process, Brian called in the Client Care Manager, John Mendola. I cannot express how helpful he was, he's extremely smart, encouraging and admirable. This is the worst Audi dealership. Besides the fact that they have very limited product. The sales manager Nilmah is rude, aggressive, dishonest and unprofessional. They ran my credit after I asked them explicitly not to do that and took advantage of me. I have been a customer of Audi for over 7 years and a customer of Volkswagen for over 14 years. I am truly disappointed in the service I received and I will NEVER go there again and I would advise others to do the same. When I shared that I wanted to think about the deal overnight, he picked up the paper and ripped it in my face. When I said that I could get more for my car he said in a sarcastic tone "well how about this go to those another places and then bring the money here and by the car from us" and then laughs. Tried to buy an Audi sunshade through their online store on September 18th. On September 27th, was informed my address "wasn't allowed in their shipping system," despite me having no issue at all inputting its and the website also accepting the whole address. I again tried by various methods to contact the Parts center on September 27th, October 3rd, 13th, and 16th, and never heard a single thing back. Tried reaching out to the GM, no response, tried their regular customer service, no response. Not sure why I was just completely ignored, but I ended up having to have PayPal refund my purchase. Can't speak for the overall dealership, but their Parts department is TERRIBLE. UPDATE 1/5/2024 - Received an apology from the Parts Manager, Hugo, and an explanation for what happened, which is appreciated. What is NOT appreciated is the general managers follow up email (which I assume I wasn't supposed to be copied on), which basically called me out for providing an "undeliverable address" (not true), and that Hugo's message was somehow too apologetic but at the same time, he wanted my 1 star review down. TOO apologetic?? It's not like I was offered anything, just kind words. It's not this 'guys' fault their system can't accept a valid address I was able to put in on their own website. I like my cars and I really like Audi's! McKenna dealership was a referral from a close friend. For 9 years I was loyal to both the dealership and the Audi brand. I enjoyed "VIP" stickers for my car, handwritten thank you notes from Danny McKenna, and up until now excellent customer service. It all ended like a bad break up! 24 hours after taking ownership of my shiny new Q8 the engine light came on. I called McKenna service dept. immediately and was told they were fully committed for the next 2 weeks and I should take my car to a dealership closer to my home. The service guy actually said, "take your car to Fletcher Jones!" I responded shyly, "I"m a VIP, does that matter?" He chuckled. Turns out my car had a bad fuel pump, it was replaced and serviced at Fletcher Jones and they botched the job. The botched job led to weeks of my car not driving properly and eventually the car leaked an entire tank of gas in my driveway, much to the alarm of my neighbors...Fig. 1. I have my car back...McKenna did end up towing it and they assure me they have fixed the issue. Here's the thing...at no point did McKenna ever own their end of this debacle. There was mention of prorating my lease, cleaning up the spill, but not one person followed through with any of it. They never apologized for mishandling the first call to the service department and when I expressed my concern that the car may be a lemon they advised me to seek counsel. *Side note: do your research on the new Q8! My experience with the bad fuel pump is NOT a one off! There is one person in this story who actually followed through, the service manager at Audi Fletcher Jones! He owned the bad repair job and apologized. Offered me free gas, car washes, and asked for another chance. read more

As you'll note from my prior reviews, this is not the first time I've had a problem with McKenna Audi. The first time was when I took delivery. It didn't have all the equipment listed on the window sticker. When I brought it to McKenna's attention, they claimed I was wrong, and sent me a copy of what they claimed was the car's window sticker. It was different than the one that came on my car (which fortunately I still had). It was only when I posted an appropriate Yelp review, that they saw fit to take care of those issues, and make it right. The last two times it was their service department. My car was brought to them for service for three problems (loud, persistent rattle in the driver's side door, which was very annoying, as well as defeated the purpose of the very premium, expensive, optional sound system, trunk lid didn't go up all the way, and smearing windshield wipers). Both times, they told me they didn't see, hear or find any problems, except for the trunk lid. The second time, they said it was fixed. It wasn't. So, I took it to another dealership that came highly recommended (Audi of Calabasas). The technician there immediately heard and saw these problems, and they were fixed. I was even able to get a loaner on 24 hours notice, instead of the weeks it used to take me to get one from McKenna -- probably because I'm not the only customer that had to make return visits for the same problems). It seems to me based on my experience that once McKenna sells you a car, they're pretty much done with you. That's unfortunate, because they've lost a repeat Audi customer. The only reason I didn't give them less than two stars is because they came to me to pick up and drop off my car and the loaner. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! We initially dealt with Jeremy Bullock who set a price for us to buy the car. The sales manager did not honor that price. We were lied to by Jeremy regarding where we could go out of state to sign documents resulting in us taking two separate days off work waiting for an appointment to go sign. As it turns out they didn't even have offices In our state. It was a complete run around. The GM then assured us he would be waiting for us to come to California to sign. At the last minute it was passed off to the sales manager. We were again assured everything would be ready for us when we got there. We waited 3 hours. It was the most ridiculous buying experience full of lies. I would never buy another car here again. Edit- the below comment requesting us to call is too little to late. They ran us around back and forth to the dealership. Made appointments that were 3 hours delayed. We were treated poorly and straight out lied to by Jeremy the salesman and DALIUS the GM. Alex the sales manager didn't honor anything agreed upon by his salesman nor the GM. At this point it was almost 10pm. Our appointment was 7pm and all paperwork was filled out before we got there. I went to these bloodsuckers for an Audi E-Tron GT believing they'll hook me up with a good price since I work down the street at Norwalk High School. I test drove the car and begun the negotiation and told them that I am interested. I even laid down the spill that they shouldn't try to rip me off because I would tell all my students to go to them in the future. They should think of it as a sponsorship. Well these bloodsuckers came back with 15k above MSRP and they replaced the original rims with these ugly rims for another 8k above sticker. So that's 23k above asking with 10% tax on top of the 23k, so basically 25k above MSRP. That's like 150k for the car and I looked at the salesman and told them that they do not want me to drive a competitor's car in YOUR neighborhood. It is like free advertisement to have an amazing guy like me drive the car around your neighborhood. Well, the salesman was polite and said there isn't anything he couldn't do, his boss is a bloodsucker and they are taking advantage of the car shortage. Well, muahahaha, on my way home from McKenna, Pacific Audi called me up and asked me to come in and I bought the car immediately for sticker price without the upgraded ugly rims. Of course, Pacific Audi wanted 15k above MSRP too, but I negotiated it down to ZERO. Of course, I'll be driving around Norwalk with my Pacific Audi plate. I still can't believe that McKenna wouldn't hook a local teacher up. I'll tell all my students and staff to go elsewhere, they'll get ripped off down the street. read more
