My wife scratched the bumper against the garage door frame. I pulled the car in for an estimate. The estimator used a cloth and a bottle of lacquer to completely wipe the scratch off! As the scratch looked so bad, they could easily ask for a few hundred bucks and I would pay for it, but they didn't. What a honest business! Our car was hit, and we worked with Mark C. to get it repaired. I can not emphasize how awesome Mark was. He worked on our car and got it back to tip top shape. However, there was one latent issue of a weird vibration in the fixed door my wife noticed. Very subtle. Mark took the time to try to debug the issue. He went with a drive with me in order to recreate the problem, and his team took the car apart and found a very tricky problem. He even walked my wife through what actually happened. It is easy for a person to do a good job when it is easy, but it takes a responsible and solid person to work hard to get the hard problems right. I made the decision to take my car to McLeod's for repair and painting after another shop tried 6 times to repair and paint my car without success. The paint on my car is a four stage process that needed an expert to do the job. The manager was apologetic for the lack of glass cleanup in our first car, and offered to make it right, and I do appreciate the gesture. Our other car also got some body work done at McLeod's, and they were great in working with my insurance company to ensure that the job was done correctly; at first my insurance did not want to pay for a new bumper, but McLeod insisted on it. They fixed all the damage, cleaned it inside and out, and even touched up some nicks and scratches on the hood. Since I didn't want to get a new lamp for a crack on my tail light, they put a special tape to keep it from getting worse. I think they even touched up my license plate holder! UPDATE: At the end of the day after posting this comment I got a call from Mark at McLeod asking for more details and expressing his concern about what had happened. Earlier that day I actually had to take the car back to the dealership a second time, due to the rotor on the wheel that had missing lug nuts needing to be resurfaced. Since this wasn't under the warranty they were going to charge me for it. I asked Mark what I should do since I wasn't sure if I should go through my insurance or not (I'm a newb when it comes to this stuff). He told me he wanted to do whatever he could to make this right and that it was important that he find out how this happened and how to prevent this in the future. Instead of having me bring my car into McLeod, he actually called the dealership and worked with the service manager there to have the work billed to McLeod. It took several days due to varying hours and schedules between McLeod and the service manager handling my car. I just picked it up a few hours ago and everything is running great! First time right is an important thing, but so is how defects are dealt with whenever they creep up. This was handled superbly. I heard from Mark right away, he kept in contact with me every day while I was waiting, and then let me know when the work was complete. Being so proactive in looking out for issues like this is what makes good service into great service. Thank you, Mark! Original comment: Originally, I was really pleased with the service I received here. I came here to get repairs on my 2009 Corolla after being hit by a jeep. Everyone was really courteous and my car was completed sooner than expected. They even went to extra mile by touching up a scratch that had been on the car since I bought it and included some extra paint if I needed it. After I brought it home I realized my lights weren't working, so I called them to bring it back in. As soon as I got there the next day they swapped out the fuses without a fuss and once again I was on my way, feeling very much satisfied by their service. Here's where that feeling comes to a halt... I soon began experiencing a lot of shaking and shuddering from my car while traveling at speeds over 40mph. My car was still under warranty with the dealership I purchased it from so I took it in to have it inspected. It turns out that 3 out of 5 lug nuts had NOT been replaced on the front, passenger side wheel, which was causing it to wobble a considerable amount while I was driving... I went ahead and got it fixed at the dealership, since it was easier than driving it back to McLeod and possibly dealing with the insurance company that covered the original work. We needed some affordable (no insurance claim) bodywork to correct some damage to the front end of our Jetta and were super pleased and impressed with every aspect of our dealings with McLeod Auto Body. The quote was beyond fair and we appreciated the sound advice to replace entire panels, in our case the hood, right bumper, and right headlight, rather than try to repair existing pieces. They were very patient with us and our questions about inspecting the integrity of the salvage yard pieces and explained the process of how they are graded and that we could inspect them first and reject them if we wanted to hold out for other pieces. So fast forward to having the work completed and picking up the car after just one day in their shop. Wow! They polished and waxed the entire vehicle, vacuumed the interior, cleaned the wheels (which were filthy) all above and beyond and they came under their estimate! Oh and they polished our other headlight such that at first we thought they replaced both of them because they now look like new! We could not have been more pleased with their work and extra effort to care for the entirety of our vehicle. They obviously take pride in their business and know the value of earning the respect and trust of their customers. I was dismayed when my new-to-me Hybrid Highlander was stolen. The person practically destroyed it inside and out yet it wasn't totaled. It did have over $12,000 in damages and Mcleod's fixed it up nicely, even painting the whole thing with nice new paint, adding a rubber piece to the back bumper, new plate holders, fixing the marks in the leather seats, getting the smell out (all sort of little detail things)...and even finding a great rental car for me to use for the four weeks it was in the shop. Friday they did a couple of things I noticed after I got it back and now it is almost as good as new (again). I took my car in to have them look at a panel on my back passenger side door that was loose. The door had been repaired from a car accident I had been in while living in Florida. I decided to go to them based on the reviews on Yelp. I was hoping the fix would be an easy one, but of course, car repairs don't usually work that way. Thankfully, this time it did. Everyone was super friendly. Mark took a look at my door and told me it was simply a missing bolt. He and one of the repairmen put in a new bolt and even double checked the other bolts in the door for me. And they did it all free of charge! IM BLOWN AWAY. This place brought my baby back to life!! They really really truly care and I'm so grateful that I found them to fix my 4Runner after I got hit in a hit-and-run. The front desk is on top of it and super helpful with all my questions and did everything possible to get my insurance to do as much OEM as possible (I didn't even know this was a thing and they explained everything to me so I knew what was going on at all times).. the guy who does the body work is super kind and explained things to me so that I'd understand and assured me they would do their very best and they certainly pulled through. My car was rammed from behind, causing about $7k in damage. My nearly new car (about 1.5 years old) was banged up pretty good and I was frustrated that my nearly new car now had a black mark on its record. I've heard from friends who said their car was never the same after an accident - so I was a little concerned I'd potentially have a nearly new piece of crap when this was all done... So when shopping for an auto body shop - I wanted to find one that would do their best to "make me whole"... or as close to it as possible. I rarely use any substantial service, or purchase any product without referrals and an appropriate amount of research- so choosing McLeod Auto Body was not something I did on a whim. I read the reviews. I read A LOT of their reviews, and I also read a LOT of the other auto body shop reviews... So before I arrived, I knew McLeod would do the following... 1). Do great work 2). Be courteous, friendly, and respond in a timely manner. 3). Might take a little longer than other shops because the good work created a good reputation, which then created more demand for their services. Some folks might have an issue with this - but I don't. Seeing the demand for their services is reassuring - just as you might feel when trying a new restaurant that is consistently packed. (I should note that the other shops that had consistently good reviews had a wait time that was equal to McLeods... so this is really only a factor if you're trying to compare McLeods to a shop with significantly less inspiring reviews...) They actually beat the estimated time frame they gave me initially, and they likely would have done even better if it wasn't for the delays my insurance company caused. I'd recommend them to anyone. I'll give them my business again. TL:DR? Summary: might take a bit longer than some lesser shops - but I'm happy with my car. Editing to add: Mark, Katie, Linda were awesome. Took my car here after reading several reviews. They took my car in and handled all subsequent interactions with my insurance company. The extent of the damage was not outwardly apparent, but they kept me updated via email daily on their progress, ordering of new parts, etc. I was also able to pick up the insurance-provided rental car right there, so the entire transaction was very smooth. My car had been involved in a hit and run accident shortly before I was to leave the country for a few weeks. My husband and I got our car side scraped (thankfully very minimal damages, but quite a bummer) and went to McLeod to get it fixed up. We were hoping for a quick in-and-out, but we had to wait for 1.5 months due to how popular and busy McLeod is (we had no problem waiting; McLeod promised that if anything were to happen during that time they'd make sure to fix up that 'anything'). Overall, once we put in our car, it was given back pretty quick (about one week) and looking as good as new! They even vacuumed the interior and cleaned everything (reminded me of getting in our car for the first time). I had a very pleasant experience with Gary back in Jan 2020 to fix a water leaking issue with my car. I own a 7-seater SUV and typically keep the 3rd row flat and in Jan I found one of the 2nd row seat belts grew molts and the flat trunk area was all wet. After folding 3rd seats up and remove the spare tire cover, I found the spare tire well was full of water. After some searches including checking with dealership, I came to McLeod. Initially, it gave me an expression that the body shop might charge quite high given they have pretty good waiting area/office and clean workshop but I decided to give it a try after talking to Gary who was quite honest and patient in explaining things to me. Their schedule was quite busy so I waited for 3-4 weeks for me to get my car in the work in Feb. After the initial diagnosis, Gary carefully explained the findings and what would be the possible fix charge and the final cost was actually very reasonable and lower than some of other quotes I got earlier. When I picked up my car, I found a minor damage to C pillar which wasn't original and told Gary, then he agreed to replace it without questions. I am happy that I chose McLeod and met Gary who is very dependable and trustworthy. It has been 5+ months now my car has no leaking issue any more after many rounds of heavy rains and storms. read more

I had also read numerous great reviews on yelp and other sites, so when they offered a quote that was competitive to the others I had received; it was a no Brainer. The staff was very friendly and professional. They supplied me a rental car through Honda of Kirkland for $20.00 a day, and drove me there to pick it up. My car was finished a day later than they anticipated, because Mark wanted to make sure it was perfect before handing it back over to me. When I picked it up It looked nothing short of perfect. They washed the entire car and cleaned the inside as well. I hope I will never need their services again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to give it to them. I scratched my Mini Cooper against the wall in the parking lot, and I am considering whether I would repair it since the scratches were light. I have checked out 3 other shops in the area, all having good Yelp review, but this shop beats them all. Not only McLeod has the best quote, but also the best service. Gary took a look at my Mini Cooper and explained to me which parts are plastics and which parts are not. He told me that as my scratches are all on the plastic side, there won't be any rust even if I choose to repair it 15 years later. Well I am pretty sure I will scratch my car again shortly given that I have little experience in driving. So I would probably save the repair for future, when I get more scratches. In the end there was also some hidden damage, and the lights and bumper had to be replaced as well. It took over a month to fix because the job kept getting more complicated, but McCleod worked seemlessly with my insurance and kept me in the loop the whole time. I have had two cars repaired at McLeod Auto Body, both after accidents in which I was rear-ended. In 2000, I took my 1994 Toyota Landcruiser to McLeod based on a referral from a friend. The people at McLeod were professional, organized, courteous, and friendly. From the moment I called them I felt assured that they would take care of everything. They arranged for my rental car, kept in communication with me throughout the repair, and returned my car to me on time. Better yet, my Landcruiser looked amazing. The body and finish work were perfect, and they cleaned the car outside and inside. 10 days ago I was rear-ended in my 2001 Dodge Durango. The other driver's insurance company recommended another shop, but there was only one place I would trust with my car. I'm so glad I remembered the service McLeod offered me 13 years ago. The service I received this time was just as good. Right from the beginning they made me feel at ease knowing that they would take care of everything. Mark called me to say he noticed my rear view mirror was damaged and asked if I'd like him to replace it since it's a safety issue. I really appreciated that. Not only was the rear repair perfect, but I also have a functioning side mirror for the first time in 3 years. AND the total cost was lower than their original estimate.
