I have had two cars repaired at McLeod Auto Body, both after accidents in which I was rear-ended. In 2000, I took my 1994 Toyota Landcruiser to McLeod based on a referral from a friend. The people at McLeod were professional, organized, courteous, and friendly. From the moment I called them I felt assured that they would take care of everything. They arranged for my rental car, kept in communication with me throughout the repair, and returned my car to me on time. Better yet, my Landcruiser looked amazing. The body and finish work were perfect, and they cleaned the car outside and inside. 10 days ago I was rear-ended in my 2001 Dodge Durango. The other driver's insurance company recommended another shop, but there was only one place I would trust with my car. I'm so glad I remembered the service McLeod offered me 13 years ago. The service I received this time was just as good. Right from the beginning they made me feel at ease knowing that they would take care of everything. Mark called me to say he noticed my rear view mirror was damaged and asked if I'd like him to replace it since it's a safety issue. I really appreciated that. Not only was the rear repair perfect, but I also have a functioning side mirror for the first time in 3 years. AND the total cost was lower than their original estimate. Update to my previous post. The repair was immaculately done. Everything sparkled like new. They even went to a point of fixing other small dents and scratches, something above and beyond other auto body shops. As I mentioned in my previous post, the customer service (Mark) was excellent. My only issue was their policy on holding your vehicle pending final payment. However, we were able to come to a reasonable solution with the various parties involved. I would recommend this place for the professionalism and customer services. I would still warn people to make sure they have the insurance issue straightened out a head of time to avoid unfortuate situations that can arise out of 3rd party claim. read more

I was referred to McLeod by Honda of Kirkland to deal with defective paint on my Honda's bumper (my car is out of warranty, so the costs were mine to cover). When a teenager calls and says "I have some bad news mom, I was in a car accident", it can send a parent into a panic. Luckily everyone was ok and both cars were drivable. Once the initial shock passed, I sadly realized that we were left with a wrecked car. (Side note: This car is my baby. I purposely bought a pre-owned Kia because they don't make a 6 speed manual Optima anymore. I needed to find the right people to fix her.) I started my research and it didn't take long to figure out that McLeod Auto Body came highly recommended. From the moment I arrived they were very courteous and though I didn't have an appointment, they were able to get someone to help me right away. The shop was clean and the customer service was above average, I knew I found my place. Once my car arrived for the repairs, Mark went to work sourcing parts, even returning several parts that were not up to his standards. We had 2 supplemental requests for my insurance in addition to the original quote and they kept informed every step of the way. The extra days were worth it and I couldn't be more impressed with the repairs, the car is beautiful. They have a lifelong customer in me, but I hope we don't have to use them again anytime soon, I'm sure they understand. I was very pleased with my experience at McLeod. My brand new 2 month old truck was parked at work when a runaway golf cart crashed into it and ripped the entire front bumper off. It also damaged the corners of the fenders where it bent and chipped the the tips slightly. Well, they repaired it in 3 days and it looks as if nothing ever happened. They referred me to a convenient rental through Honda of Kirkland at a very reasonable $21/ day. Had it waiting for me when I dropped the truck off. The job was originally quoted without the fender work because we didn't see it at first, but even with the extra labor, the job came in over $400 under the estimate (they said parts ended up being cheaper). As a bonus, I had an area where I messed up my door trying to de-badge it. I made the bonehead mistake of trying to wet sand it and it was all dull and I thought I had really screwed myself, but Mark fixed that at no extra charge. It buffed right out and looks as good as new too. They even cleaned up the truck including the inside and tire dressing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

Mcleod is really a go-to place especially when you have insurance involved. I went for a SUV repair (insurance's full liability), and Mcload has done it above approach. Most of the damages got replaced with OEM parts. The body shop negotiate with Insurance directly to get their approval. Also, the front desk are very nice to help me out when I call them. read more

Very happy w/ the work provided by McLeod. The three things that are most important to me McLeod delivered on. They restored my truck back to factory quality by replacing the bumper and front assembly with factory parts. They negotiated w/ my Insurance company to ensure the best quality parts were installed, the insurance came in low and McLeod was able to counter bid and ensure I get the factory parts. And they had great communication throughout the process. I had calls from reception each step of the way informing me of the progress. And when I went to pick up my truck they walked me through all the repairs, answered questions, and detailed my truck. My daughter put a small dent and some ugly scratches into the door of her 2014 Ford Focus as she pulled into the garage. I brought my car here based on Yelp reviews and I was so happy! I had already decided against calling insurance for this small dent... but I wanted the scratches gone. They looked at my car, listened to me, and recommended just cleaning off the scratches since this was a small dent not worth turning into insurance. They came out with some chemical and buffed it clean. No charge! What? No charge? I know it was only 10 minutes of work, but I expected to pay something. Nope. They said no charge. I cannot believe in 2016 we still have kind businesses that just treat you like a neighbor more than a business. Well done! read more

Unfortunately, I have had to use McLeod's numerous times over the years (being the parent of 3 boys!). I was iinitially introduced to this shop by a friends father (who owns a well-respected Hot Rod shop in Monroe). When I asked for a body shop recommendation after my oldest son did some damage to his mom's car, I was told that McLeod's is where he (the shop owner) sends his best customers to have body work done on their "daily drivers". All I can say is that, over the past 10 years that I've had work done here on my cars, I have never been disappointed. The work is top-notch, completed when promised, and exceeds my expectations, every time. From bumper scuffs on my Lexus (youngest son) to a nearly totalled (within $1000) 3 year old Expedition (middle son) and multiple panel damage to a Camry (oldest son), my experience has been that McLeod's staff are professional, consistent, and friendly. I was especially impressed with the Expedition repair (complete front end, including frame clip); even knowing what had been done, I was unable to detect that any repairs had been performed on it. I tried another shop (closer to home) once, after sliding backwards along a guardrail on I-90 in the ice (this one was mine), and had to return to the other shop twice to a) get the turn signals working and b) open the locked but unable to be opened rear door. Brought my 2006 BMW 550i to McLeod after an SUV backed up into the quarter rear panel of my car. I moved up here from the SF Bay Area and wasn't familiar with what shop to take it to to so I went on Yelp to find a good one. I found a couple with pretty high ratings but McLeod caught my attention almost all of their customer reviews were consistently positive. I decided to go to them for my collision repair because I read a previous customer review that noted that they fight tooth and nail with the insurance companies to get OEM parts and not aftermarket. This was important to me because BMWs are not cheap cars and I don't have any other aftermarket parts on it which is why having OEM parts mattered a lot. I returned from my 2 week vacation to pick up my car and it looked flawless. I thought to myself "what accident?" What was really remarkable was the fact that before I brought it in, my driver side door handle was black (the rest of my car is silver) because I had to order a replacement when it broke 1 1/2 years ago and never got around to painting it. But when i picked up my car, I noticed that McLeod did me a solid and painted it for me to match the rest of the work they did to that side of my car AND provided me with touch-up paint to use in the future. This definitely went above and beyond my expectation! While I hope not to have to see them in the near future by getting in another car accident, I will definitely refer anyone I know needing auto body work to go there. read more

My three week old 4Runner was met with a descending garage door and was left with some deep scratches down the lift gate. I went to McLeod later that day for an estimate. Gary was great and I appreciated him giving me the details of the repair and even showed me what they were currently working on. Their shop is spotless, by the way. It is VERY clean. I did go to a second shop to get another estimate and it came out to about the same as the quote Gary had given me. I chose McLeod because Gary had made such a great first impression. I dropped off my car and keys on a Sunday night and was told on Wednesday that my car was ready. Got there and everything looked great. It was good as new as if nothing had ever happened. The next day, the sunlight hit the rear windshield just right and I saw a numerous deep scratches all over. The car had just been parked at home since I picked it up. I was SO upset, mainly at myself for not seeing it when I picked up the car. I was too focused on the paint job. Always inspect the car bumper to bumper at pick up!!! I called McLeod and expected to have to put up a fight. Instead, they said to come in and so they could take a look. Mark, the person I dealt with when I picked up my car, took pictures of the scratches and said he'd give me a call after the weekend when he talks to the service guys. I was concerned that the technicians would deny any responsibility, but ten minutes after leaving, I received a call from Mark saying that he would take care of it and had ordered a replacement window from Toyota. He apologized and said he had an idea of how the scratches had happened. The window arrived quickly and I was in the day after that for replacement. I was annoyed that it was something else I had to deal with, but extremely thankful that McLeod took responsibility and made the issue as easy to deal with as possible. read more

Took my Lexus to get it fixed after a small accident, and the entire service was Okay. Took longer then I expected, the film on my car was missed and never placed on (but of course was charged), the paint job was okay, over sprayed spots, and overall the job was done fair, not great. They fixed the problems and listened, but I had to waste two more days and go back to get things fixed. There are better quality auto body shops out there, especially for what they charge!! I came in for a quote on my driver side door. Someone tried to pry it open I guess because it wasn't sitting flush with the frame. My car was a hit and run in a transit lot. I was referred to another shop by my insurance company and I said NO WAY! I had McLeod's fix my car for another incident and they were PERFECT!!! I wish I could give 10 stars if I can. This place is amazing. Last time I pushed a small sensor on the surface of the bumper into inside it and I wanted the small thing out. Everyone was gone except the guy at the reception since I was late and they were closing for the day. Sorry I forgot his name. The reception guy took a look, kneeled down and several mins later he pulled it out and replace it. It was raining and my car was just parked outside. And he did these all free of charge! Someone bumped into my rear bumper and I had to get it repaired. McLeod and Gary who works there are nothing but truly professional. Really a great full service place from soups to nuts 1. You don't need to deal with the insurance guys at all they got it handled. 2. Rental car shows up, easy pickup and drop off. They call you , ask you for model you would like and Honda of Kirkland delivers a car for you to use 3. My car had an issue with the rear camera but it was not clear that it was the result of the accident, they examined it, called the dealer and successfully negotiated a new camera for me. I'm so grateful 4. They do a great job of keeping you updated through the process - Gary called me to update me 5. Advice on OEM parts- as we all know that our warranty will be voided with non-OEM parts. Mcleods makes sure OEM parts are used and well documented that this is the case.
