Let me preface this with the fact that I researched family friendly resturaunt prior to bringing my family here. Upon arrival with our party of 4 adults 1 6yr old and a 7month old, we were greeted by a young lady who would also be our server. She clearly was a novice as she barely knew the menu and had to inquire about every question we asked, and kept forgetting things. She had a pleasant demeanor so we let it slide. Not even 10 min into our meal she came back to advise us that there are other ppl trying to eat and enjoy a quiet dinner so she was told to ask us if there is a way to quiet out 7 month old (who by the way, was screaming and laughing joyfully-NOT CRYING AT ALL). We at that moment requested the manager because thus was clearly an impossible request fir a baby. The manager became defensive and asked if we needed a Lollipop to quiet the child. He wanted to debate back and forth with my family, so we opted to leave - our appetite was gone by this point. We spent almost $400, and was not compensated for being made to feel very uncomfortable. This establishment has very poor customer service and management, and should be removed from the family friendly directory in the search engine. We DO NOT recommend this resturaunt if you have a family with children below 18 yrs old. We will NEVER dine here again. read more

Went with some work buddies to Natalies Kitchen for dinner while we were in Dallas...and Surprise! Natalie's is closed! In its place is a new placed called Meat Point. So we stayed and here's what happened. So this seems to be a standard kosher meat restaurant with a flare towards Israeli style dishes except for the curious three Italian and Thai dishes. I had a beef carpaccio for an appetizer and my mates had the chicken wings. I thought the wings looked a little drowned in their sauce. My Carpaccio was a weird combination of thinly sliced beef, balsamic vinegar, capers and sea salt, unfortunately the vinegar overwhelmed the entire dish so I couldn't really tell if the meat was cured in any real way My main dish, the Jerusalem Grill, comprised mixed chicken, beef and onions in an interesting mix of sweet, salty and chewy...the white balsamic rice made a nice balance to the underspiced, but tasty, meat. One guy had the 12 oz Black Angus burger which looked awesome.The other had the Pad Thai which he said, didn't really have any taste. Sadly there was no alcohol available because they hadn't received the license from the county as of yet, if they had a license, we would have stayed probably an extra hour or so and doubled our bill. As it was, entries and appetizers for three guys was just over $100. The service was great and we'd go back just for that. So there will be some growing pains for Meat Point, but I think that they'll get through this and become better than they were tonight. Hatzlacha! read more

Very nice, small restaurant. We came here for an early dinner. I had the Jerusalem plate and my wife had the Tahini Beef plate. Both were excellent. I would recommend it. It is also attached to a Kosher Deli that we'll have to try next time. read more

Looking for a place to eat on July for a special event. Stumble upon this place and saw all the good reviews on google. Ordered online and was ready to go pick it up and try their food. Order confirmation was ready and pickup time was confirmed. Card was charged and everything. Drove up and they were closed. Not even a sign on the door or anything about closing on their website. Waited for 10 minutes and 2 guys showed up and said they'll cancel my order and refund me almost $70 worth of food. I emailed them to double check and they said to wait a couple of days. 2 weeks gone by and nothing. Emailed again and Eilat said I will get my refund soon. Few days later and nothing. Just left me on cold and does not respond anymore after me emailing them about my money. This is a joke. Do not go here, I've read so many bad reviews on here saying they treat you poorly and I see it now. read more

Oh wow, I almost forgot about writing this review. The place is lovely, they were right in the middle of remodeling half of the restaurant but the side we were in was very nice. I think when they are through it will be fabulous. We had the special of the day shawarma which was a combination of lamb and chicken. The taste was heavenly. I had just had a tooth pulled so it was a little difficult to chew on one side of my mouth but the meat was tender and tasty and there was so much of it I took half home. It was a little on the pricey side for me, but the food was so good it was worth it. read more

Had Jerusalem platter. Extremely pedestrian. Frozen sams club pre cooked chicken warmed up to room temperature. Very few customers and still took an hour to get our food. Ordered the beef kebab with cut potato and sautéed mushrooms as my sides. The cut potato is fried with a few sweet potatoes included. It was very good. The salad was scrumptious and the kebabs were a little on the dry season side, but still very good. They have a robust menu and definitely worth a second visit-probably more LOL. Wow what an amazing meal at meat point in Dallas. Great service and even better food. The menu made it nearly impossible to decide what to order. Ended up with marrow bone stuffed with chopped rib eye and sweetbreads skewered for appetizers. Both were seriously unbelievable - unique and packed with flavor. For entrees we ordered the heart attack burger which is a 12 oz ground beef patty topped with a 4 oz patty made of lamb and rib eye fat along with an egg. That 4 oz patty was one of the best things i have ever eaten, it tasted like lamb fat in a goos way. Also had Jerusalem mixed grill which was fine but would not order again. read more

The Worst Restaurant Experience I've Ever Had! Owner is lucky that my conversation hasn't been released to the public. He flat out said he didn't give a sh*t or give a fu*k about his customers or their food allergies. Multiple times he cursed at me and slandered his customers. This all came about because of a food allergy issue I had that one completely the restaurants fault. . I ordered a dish that apparently came with a small garnish type salad (not on the menu) that was added to the plate. It did not have any dressing on top of it. I always make sure I ask if there are nuts in the dish when I go to a restaurant and order something new. This was the second time I was ordering this dish which did not have any nuts in it the first time i ate it. That being said, I proceeded to eat the dish and much to my surprise they had placed green pesto made with pine nuts underneath the garnish salad that you could not even see unless you were to lift up the greens ahead of time. I proceeded to ask for the manager for assistance who then got the owner to tell him that I've ordered this before and there was no nuts in it last time nor was there a salad/garnish on the plate last time or anything that mentions nuts, pesto or salad on the menu and that it was ridiculous that you would put pesto under greens so that one couldn't see it and that it was not the same dish as last time i ordered it and asked for it. I was already starting to have a reaction and told him I needed more water because of it. He didn't seem to care one bit. He thought i was out of line for complaining about something so obvious to anyone in the restaurant industry. He then told me he can do whatever he wants and that he doesn't give a sh*t about his customers. Everyone loves his food, he can do whatever he wants to his food and people will still come and eat it because there are no other options. This owner is a arrogant jerk who could care less about the people he feeds. He told me explicitly multiple times. My only regret is not releasing an audio recording of it. read more

After ordering the fish, she came back 20 minutes later to tell me that they are out. She also tells me they are out of the side I want. We finished our 1st glasses of wine and it took her 1 hour to ask us if we wanted another round. Food came and they messed up the sides. My fish was small and bland. The mushrooms tasted like they came out of a can! Steak looked fatty and thin. The 6 oz filet mignon with waffle and chicken liver cost $95!!! Those prices are outrageously exorbitant. The bread and hummus was delish. Best sweet potato fries I've had as well. I had a cup of hot mint tea- was fresh mint! Excellent. Loved it all. It is pricey, but it was very good food. First things first, on May 8th, I made a call and spoke to them if they had any vegan options like a burger. I was told that they would and that they would have vegan options available on Sunday for Mother's Day, which I had made dinner reservations for. Fast forward to Sunday night. My family and I arrived at 4:54 for our 5pm dinner reservations. and we were seated. There were around only four tables occupied when we arrive. We start to place our drink orders, I ask about vegan options and bring up the conversation I had with someone about them having a vegan burger and then ask if the pad thai had egg. She goes to inquire about my questions. We don't see her for at least thirty minutes to where she came back and says that the chef is now working on my burger, which I had only inquired about and not ordered and then proceed to ask about the pad thai to where she tells me she did not ask. She assured me that the burger was all vegan and I hesitated but okayed it. At this point, I remind her that she has not finished the table's drink orders and she does so. We then get our drinks some ten or fifteen later and orders are placed. My daughter orders a baked cauliflower appetizer. Everyone but my daughter and I get our food. People in other tables that arrived an hour after us receive their food. I inquire about my daughter's appetizer and I'm assured it is coming. I am told that since I did not want mushrooms in the burger, that no one even told me the ingredients of, it had to be remade. At this point, I am really frustrated but told that my burger is coming soon. At 6:40, my chickpea burger finally makes it to the table, with mayonnaise. A woman says she will change the bun but the chickpea burger has mayonaisse and I tell her I would no longer like it so she takes away the burger. At 6:50, two entire hours after arriving, my daughter finally gets her cauliflower appetizer that ended up being four slimey cauliflower florets when I was told it was an entire cauliflower head. We asked for our check where he had to have them take off the burger and we left. Zero stars. Don't come here and expect to be accommodated when told that they will. read more

Place gets better and better. Went early on a Wednesday night thinking it would be empty. A nice crowd was on hand, the service excellent and the food stupendous. A little pricy, so not the kind of place one goes weekly, but worth the money. The only thing I (and my wife) didn't care for was the "spread" they brought with the (excellent) warm bread. This is the third time I have meant to ask what it was and what could I substitute for it. Even margarine or olive oil and balsamic would suffice. That's not a complaint, I just didn't like "it." I've been back to Meat Point twice and service has been phenomenal both times, no complaints at all. Food came shockingly quickly, but tasted VERY freshly cooked! A few more menu items I've tried now... The tehina is delicious. The meat kebabs are awesome! The Summer Baby Leaves Salad had a delicious dressing and lots of yum add-ons (cashews, almonds, craisins) but almost NO lettuce! Surprising since that's the cheapest part of the dish you'd think. I'd have preferred less nuts and more salad. Also, I would've like the nuts a little more toasted, they tasted pretty raw. I don't eat bread anymore, but the fresh bread they bring out LOOKS amazing.
