Stumbled upon this hidden gem in Mission Hills and it was such a great find! We ordered their signature café drink iced with breve and an iced bad boy latte, and both were delicious. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and you can really taste the quality of the beans. The drinks were perfectly crafted with the right balance of sweetness and richness. Vast variety of drinks for all flavor profile. Street parking.

What more can you ask for? Great coffee and a quick rest. And they know how to make an authentic macchiato.

Quick corner coffee shop, loved the convenience of being in the neighborhood of the clinics and it was not overcrowded, nice simple menu easy to browse and make a good decision loved the chic who attended me and handed me my delicious drink highly recommend!

Super cute shop located right next to lefty Chicago pizza in Hillcrest. It's a shack but was popping when I came on a Sunday mid morning. Parking is tough but there is a lot right behind it where you can pay during the week (not sure about weekends) and if you're lucky you can find street parking. You can't miss this spot because it's super colorful. There are a few chairs and benches out but good enough for 10ish people. The service is quick and super friendly which is impressive because it's a one person show. They are taking orders as the espresso brew, answering questions, putting foam on coffees, wiping up messes all at the same time. We ordered the Denise Coconut Latte which had espresso and coconut syrup. It was iced. I'd give that a three star. We also ordered La Lupe which id give five stars. It had espresso, Mexican chocolate, steamed milk and peanut butter syrup. I had it iced and it was delightful to simply put. It was like being hugged even tho it was iced. I know there are a ton of options on the menu but honestly, this was so good I might only get this when I return. Lastly it was super affordable. 6 bucks for a medium coffee. 8ish for a large.

FAVORITE coffee shop in San Diego hands down. I have tried several other places and found myself coming back to this one. My favorite part about the shop is that the drinks are consistently made well even with different baristas. The selection of drinks is wonderful and I love the variety. I would honestly try all of the drink on the menu!!! Might have to make that a bucket list idea!!! The shop is a small little pop up with a few outside tables to enjoy your drink; it has a very quirky yet welcoming atmosphere!!

20 mins for a drink. Number of people got their drink before me. Will not be coming again. 11:30AM December 21st Saturday.

Went to get my nails done across the street and my husband got coffee here while waiting for me. He said it was good so I decided to get myself coffee afterwards. I got a medium Mexican Mocha, the cup was smaller than most medium drinks but I didn't mind that. The lady manning the place made a face when I turned away when the tip came up on the screen, then proceeded to ignore us when I picked up the drink. (Still gave a tip though.) Not sure if the lady was expecting a tip for a to-go order but the vibe felt so negative. The drink wasn't as creamy as other Mexican Mochas I've had too. It rather tasted watered down. Giving 3 stars bec my husband enjoyed his drink.

Chai latte was okay, pretty sweet. Did not like that I had to ask for 2 "Dirty Girls". Millennial humor might just not be for me.

Cute little coffee shack in the heat of Mission Hills with very good coffee. They've got several places to sit outside.

They have plants, coffee, snacks...what is there not to love? You're also met with lots of crafts, such as stickers, postcards, candles, etc. There was a line when I came. Not particularly long, it went by pretty quick because I got distracted from all the goodies while standing in line. I ended up getting a El Jefe latte (brown sugar espresso) to start, and it was pretty good! Above average and was easy to drink, not too acidic. The brown sugar syrup was okay, I'd get something else the next time. Wait times were pretty long, but the chance to walk around and see pretty flowers, rocks, and plants make it not such a bad thing at all. There are a few tables, but there weren't enough for my party when I went in the late afternoon (5pm-ish) Plenty of parking, and cafe employees are extremely sweet and cheerful. They say green vibrant plants bring your high cortisol levels down. Would def recommend if you're in search of a new cafe. If you're coming from the airport, it's not too far and you can squeeze in a coffee/souvenir run!

I ordered the Serrano Jalapeño Jack Cheese Bagel with chive shallot cream cheese, along with the Iced Cinna Bee. The bagel was absolutely overloaded with cream cheese. Because it was served hot, the cream cheese melted and was literally dripping everywhere, making it a complete mess to eat. Then I bit into it and found a thick slice of cold, raw tomato inside. Who puts a cold raw tomato on a hot bagel loaded with warm cream cheese? The combination was disgusting and completely threw off the flavor. The Iced Cinna Bee, which I was told is one of their most popular drinks, was just as disappointing. It was bland, barely sweetened, and the cinnamon completely overpowered the coffee. It was honestly gross, and I couldn't finish it. To make matters worse, I waited over 20 minutes for my order. Parking was also a hassle since I had to park on the street. The only reasons I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 are because the staff was friendly and the café has potential. Unfortunately, the food, coffee, and long wait made this a disappointing experience. I don't see myself coming back.
