The food was so delicious. We went on an early Monday morning and were helped right away. At first glance you are not quite sure whether it would be a good breakfast spot. This is my third time coming! First time by myself, service nice, service timely and food was savory. Second time, I brought family for Mothers day, nice staff, long wait and we liked our food but the Third time I brought my friend for her birthday and service was disappointing and the dish I ordered was ok. I dont know if it was the server or the busy Saturday we walked into. We were told it would be a 40 min wait for our food to come out! Shocked and hungry, we obliged anyway. I told her it would be good. We sat for an hour and had our water pitcher refilled 3 times! There were two tables that came after us and were able to eat, pay and leave. We flagged down to inquire about our food to find out it was NEVER placed. I brought my friend out for her birthday and it was a bit embarrassing. Spoke with the manager, he apologized and comped our meal. My friend ordered french toast with an omelet and bacon but we didnt get the bacon. I ordered the portabello sandwich because I was curious and it was not my favorite. It lacked flavor and pieces were chewy but at least I tried it. We still couldn't understand how or why our order was forgotten, maybe weekends are too much for their staff to handle. read more

Let me start off by saying that service was 5/5! Quick and friendly service, no complaints. This is LA so pricing is a little higher than you'd normally pay for the same food. Freshly squeezed OJ- it was good and fresh and a good portion. Pricey but at least it definitely was fresh! Fresca ranchera- so I was hoping for something closer to huevos rancheros but it wasn't bad. Very small pieces of bread, the eggs and potatoes were pretty bland and it was not an avocado salsa. They chop up avocado then put some red salsa on top. Good portion for the meal but just fell flat on flavor. Overall a nice little spot! This location is much bigger than the Culver City location and they have ample outdoor seating. I came here for breakfast and was very pleased with the service. Any seat indoor has a good view of the tvs incase you want to take a rest from talking with your party. The Omelette and "Eggs and Stuff" menu will most likely have something you're craving so give them try if you're in the El Segundo area. read more

My friend and I had Ahi tuna over English pea hummus; an unusual combo that I've not seen before, but sounded intriguing. It was an appetizer but ordered it for dinner; portion was huge including lots of Ahi. Needed more seasoning but I'd order it again. Light and filling. My husband had lamb pasta (ossa bucco) and our friend had chicken dish. Both huge portions and tasty. Couldn't believe the lamb pasta included 2 large lamb shanks, enough to take one home. What a great local spot! I was hesitant to come here because they're already so many great breakfast and brunch spots in the neighborhood, but I'm so glad I did! With a sleek open atmosphere, breezy patio, and excellent high-quality food, I will definitely be coming back. Decor: open, modern aesthetic, but still comfortable. Outdoor patio is well decorated so you don't feel like you're just sitting in the street. Food: definitely a higher price point than some other neighborhood places, but you can see the difference in the portions and food quality. Everything I've tried here is excellent, but the stand out is the French toast. Thick slices with a crisp layer and buttery goodness. It's definitely, not a light meal and you'll feel a bit guilty afterwards, but it's worth it! Service: All the servers were excellent, friendly while still being efficient. I like this one better than the washington pl location. First of all, the huge sized French toast at this location is the correct size. At the other location it's definitely smaller and lackluster. The star of the show is the sautéed banana pancakes. What dreams are made of! Everything about the pancakes were 5 stars. Service was fantastic, DIDNT take that long to get a table on a Saturday morning. They seated me while I waited for my guest which was nice. Salmon Benedict was ok. I've had better and I have FOR SURE had wayyyyyyyyyy worse. I love this location and can't wait to come back. I got an espresso as well as the avocado blt. The espresso was pulled just right with a good amount of crema but the avocado BLT just didn't have enough salt content or mayo. I think it just needed a touch more and usually bacon is salty enough to carry it, but the bacon wasn't salty either which I thought was kind of odd. Not only does this quaint spot in downtown El Segundo serve a great weekend brunch, it's even better for dinner! Sit on the front patio and ask them to turn on the heat-lamps if you get a bit chilly. The last two dinner outings, we've had the salmon, the mussels, and lamb osso buco- all delicious. The portions are really generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is so friendly and attentive. We drive all over the county for good food. I loved my chicken Cesar salad, but my husbands burger was very bland, I think they forgot to season it. Service was okay, they forgot my Diet Coke and fries.. had to ask for them but they were very nice and apologetic about it. I was so disappointed at our time tonight at Metro. We got there at 5:15 and no one else was there and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We told our waitress we would have the mushroom flatbread as an appetizer and would share the salmon for dinner. 35 minutes later, the flatbread came out and it was so burnt and black that they took it back without us even having to tell them why. And dinner never came! We're the only ones in the whole place and 45 minutes later, still no food. Supposedly the manager was checking on things but after five minutes, we just got up and walked out. I have never in my life just walked out of a restaurant. There was no one there to tell and there was never any food that we ate. I know why the restaurant was empty. read more

My first time here. Came at 9am so parking was somewhat easy. Found parking down the street. When I left later, it was a little harder to find since it was a saturday morning and there was a fair of some sort going on. I had the avocado toast and it was so amazing. Just perfectly seasoned and little salad on top. One of the best avocado toasts I have had. There arent a lot of options for coffee but the latte was decent. Was in the area and needed to take a quick lunch break. Lots of menu options - salads, sandwiches, breakfast, etc. Very generous portions. Plenty of indoor and outdoor/sidewalk seating. They have garage door windows, which open up to the outside. The service was pretty slow for 1:30pm on a Saturday, but friendly nonetheless. Easy street parking around El Segundo. read more
