Everything tastes kinda samey. Not a fan of the overly acidic salads and sauces. When I first visited 2 years ago I was blown away and recommended this place... I suspect something changed because I only remember bad meals now. read more

My favorite arabic place. I always got the chicken kebab with baba ganoush. Their chicken is super tender and juicy. They grill it to perfection. The price is very cheap in my opinion compared to other places. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! read more

First of all, there was zero air conditioning on a 100+ degree day. Very uncomfortable to say the least. The food was fine, but not great. The babaganoug had very little eggplant in it and was bland. They also used stale grocery store calibre pita bread...! That is unbelievable to me. Plenty of Middle Eastern bakeries in SoCal. Wow, I didn't expect this place to be that good! My dad and I were looking for a mediterranean place around the area and this place had popped up within the top 5 highest rated locations within the Rancho Cucamonga area. We walked in and immediately felt that this restaurant was super authentic. The filipino millennial that took our order was really nice and extremely friendly. My dad and I ended up getting a lamb kabob plate with baklava. The plate comes with 5 pieces of lamb kabob (really small portion), salad, rice, and hummus with warm, thin pita bread. The restaurant in kind of small so there may be times where it's hard to find seats. Also the air might feel a bit grimy because the building is small. Parking might be hard as well because it shares a parking lot in a small area. All in all, this place is a step above average and I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and are having cravings. Will definitely be coming back to try the french fry dishes. read more

Bon was in the mood for Mediterranean food. We had our lovely little girl Fidi with us, so we headed to a local place. And the only place that came up w good reviews was Mezzaterranean. It's located in a strip mall. Area looks a little shabby, but fear not, park and walk in. It's nothing spectacular, its just a counter and 4-5 tables. The place was filled with smoke from all the grilling and cooking they had going. But it smelled good. I ordered the lamb kebab plate, Bon some type of chicken and Fidi also a chicken kebab something or other. The food is very tasty. You also get the falafa bread and a good amount of hummus. The guys behind counter are funny. Very nice and pleasant. And the food, DELISH! If its your first time, the spices get a little getting used to. But no big deal. The lamb is good as was the chicken. Plates are just large enough for a person to feel satisfied. Only thing I found curious, they put a ton of salad on the plate. Then on half the plate of salad they put rice on top as well as the meat you order. So, if you're not a big salad person, tell them easy on the salad. No booze here. Only canned sodas and bottled water. After the meal, I ordered some darn good Baklava and Orange Water cake. Whoa that was good. Overall, good choice. Not fancy, very basic. You'll leave here smelling like the meat they're cooking. But food is DELISH and staff is great. read more

Great Staff - Great Food - Big Group! Found this place on Yelp.. of course.. and wasn't disappointed with anything. The staff and owner were great. We showed up with our entire volleyball team and they handled it easily and quickly and all of the girls loved the food. I'd do this place again in a minute! LOCATION & AMBIANCE (Rating 4) The restaurant is small, well kept and in a unsuspecting strip mall. We had to keep an eye peeled to find it (well 36 eyes as we had 18 people in the bus). The kitchen/grill is in plain view so you'll be able to watch your meal prepared and the meats being cooked smelled delicious. Seating is limited, but we were able to scoot 3 tables together and have most of our crew eat together. SERVICE (Rating 5) The staff was allot of fun and the owner and staff checked on us multiple times. Great job guys! It's not easy to get that many meals out at once. CHICKEN KABOB (Rating 5) The chicken was perfectly cooked and not overly seasoned. The rice was nicely done and complimented the meal wonderfully. The consistency of the tahini coupled with the flavor of the meat and the crunchiness of the fresh and pickled vegetables with the perfect temperature of the pita bread made a great sandwich. This is my first time Eating Mediterranean food and oh boy it's so delicious! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with Friendly staff we said it was our first time and one of the staff members explained everything on the menu showed us what's popular. I had the Chicken Shawarma plate and Beef Shawarma Fries and my mom had the Beef Shawarma Plate we were very Satisfied with our food. This is going to be my go to Mediterranean place! It felt like home at Mezzaterranean the staff was very friendly and there's a lot of regulars that go there. Review is based solely on what I ate. Had the Kefta (ground beef) kabob plate with rice, hummus, green salad & some pita bread. The visual presentation of the food was pretty... you can tell it was cooked fresh. Why 3 stars only? Unfortunately, whatever was in the seasonings of the ground beef was way too salty leaving me with an after taste. The salad dressing, was a bit sour as well. Literally drank lots of water every time I bit into the meat to flush out all that sodium. This food is so darn good. I love how the salad has cabbage. The little white garlic sauce they give is delicious as well and I put it on EVERYTHING. Generous portions.
