After a ridiculous experience with Chili's, the wife and I decided to try Mi Pueblo. We loved the architecture of the building, and the outdoor landscaping and lighting were inviting. Walking inside feels like you're stepping into a Mexican Hacienda. The hostess quickly was able to take us to a table, and seat us right away. They had a karaoke stage, which happens every Friday and Saturday night till 2 am! However, the music was a touch loud, but nothing we couldn't ignore. Then the FOOD! OMG, the Enchiladas Rancheras with mole were so so good! The waitress was super attentive and friendly. The playlist set by the DJ was a fun mix of Bachata, Ranchero, Salsa, Country, Rock, and my all time favorite, Luis Miguel! Highly recommend and will be back! read more

my husband always wants to order delivery from here because he loves their fish tacos, usually. tonight he said the fish was overcooked and tasted like cardboard! I always search the menu for something I might like ( I have tried their carne ssado, fijitas, tacos, etc) @nd have never found anything I liked. believe me. I love Mexican food, but only when well done. this has never been done well, to me. we ordered again from them because like I said, my husband loved their fish tacos. until tonight. Prices have gone insane at Mi Pueblo. We've been coming here for 15 years. The food is still slightly above average for most dishes. Service is good most of the time, and lighting is still way too bright at night (a fault of all Mexican restaurants). My favorite entree was $12.99 and has shot up to $19.99 for a dish that is 70% rice. Three small tacos is over $15, with no sides. Nothing has been improved to justify these increases... it is just about the least expensive food to serve as we all know. Very disappointing. We will miss this place and the staff. read more

Went for dinner with my dad, was seated right away and waitress came right over. She was very friendly and energetic. My dad got chicken fajitas and I got a dish that had steak, shrimp, chicken and veggies over rice. It was absolutely amazing. Seasoned to perfection. Came back to my favorite Mexican place! The manager, Rick, was so pleasant and a joy to speak with! We ordered two of the new menu items this time and loved them both. They have a number of new menu items on a new menu fold inside the old, which include quesabirrias, flautas, taquitos, and a massive burrito. We ordered the chicken flautas which came with a heaping serving of guacamole, pico, sour cream, and rice. There were only two, but they were crisped to perfection and extremely filling. We also tried the chicken cali burrito, which was massive! My partner could only finish half, but it was delicious. I'll be back for some more of the new menu items, for sure! read more

Came to this place to celebrate my moms bday. Very spacious restaurant and very clean. We ordered tacos, pollo fundido, and supreme ACP. To start, we waited 30 mins on our food. We were told that they gave my tacos to another table. Instead of just explaining that, they instead held the food in the back. When the food arrived , it was ice cold. Clearly, there is no properly functioning heat lamp to keep the food warm. The food was inedible. The waitress came back and checked on us several times but failed at providing napkins or refills. In fact, I had to get up to get my own refills and napkins. I specifically asked for flour tortillas as I do not like corn. And bam... I got corn Tortillas. So, I sent them back and did not eat out of concern that I'd never get them back. After all of this, the manager came to the table and apologized for the negligence of his staff. He even provided a 10% discount. Honestly, it should have been free that this point. Nevertheless, hopefully in a couple of months of intensive training, they will improve their customer service. This was our first time here, and I was disappointed to have built up so much anticipation only to find out it was a chain. I didn't deduct points for the wait. It wasn't super busy, but they seem to be staff challenged, as is many places. It would only have a two for the food, but, I gave it an extra star for the waiter. I don't remember his name, but he had purple hair, and was working hard due to the low staff. The restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms. The bar seemed to be hopping, though we didn't have alcohol. The food: I liked the thick chips. The salsa was not fresh, and I could tell that there were packaged/canned tomatoes used. It wasn't nasty, it was just average. I always order a hard shell ground beef taco at every Mexican restaurant that I am trying for the first time. They have street tacos, but, I went for the TexMex abomination because I love them. I would never order this taco again. The shell was great, the cheese was as expected, but the ground beef tasted funky. It was unseasoned, though I could see onions, there was no good flavor. I ordered the chimichanga which, per the menu, should have had chunks of beef-I imagined beef tips. When I received the food, it was ground beef, the same flavorless, almost rancid tasting ground beef that was in the taco. It tasted a week old. I know because last week, I'd tried to kill some leftover spaghetti on its fifth day, and it tasted/ smelled the same, except with flavor. I asked why I got ground beef, and the waiter proceeded to tell me that the beef chunks had been chunks of ground beef, but people had complained about them being salty, so, they chopped it into more like ground now. Again, my star for him was because he was so busy, not for this poor attempt to cover either, his mistake, or the chains lack of updating the menu. Either way, I'd never order it again. Also, most Mexican restaurants include a crema and guacamole salad with chimichangas. Here, you had a choice of two: rice, beans, or guacamole salad. I ask, what is Mexican food without rice and beans?! So, I added the guacamole salad, which contained about a teaspoon of flavorless guacamole. The rice was a little hard, and a lot bland. The beans may have had some flavor, but, honestly, I was over it before I was half in...as a matter of fact, my husband ate my other half, and wished he hadn't. He ordered the tequila chicken as the waiter painted it to be a most delicious, twice marinated dish. My husband said that he expected a moist chicken breast, but it was dry, and his rice was hard. He enjoyed the black beans and the vegetables. My son got the super enchiladas, he's 14‍ He ate it all. My daughter got the beef burrito and enjoyed hers as well. This food is always good. Once again, I ordered delivery. Today I ordered: Lunch Chimichanga, Texana Quesadilla, and the Guacamole Regional. The meats are ALWAYS seasoned perfectly. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because of the Guacamole Regional. It was supposed to come with "golden flour tortilla chips". I absolutely LOVED those chips with the guac the first time I had them, so I was really looking forward to them again. That is the only reason I even ordered the guac. I called the restaurant and they confirmed the error was on their end. The response was to ask if I could come pick up the missing order myself. I said no because I ordered delivery for a reason. I was then told "Sorry, use the Uber app to get your refund", but we were still minus a meal. Needless to say, I was not happy ("hangry" maybe) with being inconvenienced. My guest and I ended up splitting the SINGLE meal. In spite of this error, I will admit the meal we ended up sharing taste-wise did not disappoint in that area. Yum! We decided to come here for dinner one night. We got sat right away. Our server was fantastic! He was so attentive. The chips and salsa is good. The salsa has a little bit of a kick to it. Chips were nice and thick. I opted for the chicken, steak and shrimp fajitas and my husband got the enchiladas. My fajitas were sizzling!! It came with two tortillas and I wish it came with more. They give you so much meat and veggies you can easily make around 4 rounds of tortillas. My husband liked his enchiladas. They were filling and tasted fresh. The rice is good and fluffy. He said "Yes" and trying to be helpful he sensed my disappointment and asked if I wished to speak with the Manager. The exact conversation with the Manager is below: Manager: Is there something you want to talk about? Myself: Yes, I am wondering if my food is re-heated or freshly cooked Manager: Your dish is made in the Morning (we were there for dinner) and heated before being served Myself: Ok, is this how it is made everyday or is it just for today? Manager: This is how we make it everyday. The dish is made in the morning and headed before serving. Myself: Has your restaurant always been doing this? Manager: Yes. (I used to be meet at this restaurant every month as part of an Organization and order this exact dish but was cooked fresh before) Myself: If someone else were to order this dish now or tomorrow, is this the same process? Manager: Yes This restaurant has either switched from making fresh food to re-heating or I experienced a bad day when they had lots of leftovers from the previous night but as a policy they say that it is "always" cooked in the morning and heated for dinner. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Went here on a Sunday, based on the recommendation of a friend. The food was very good and tasty. The customer service was exceptional, with a very friendly staff. Highlight of the visit. We leave, and we are outside in the parking lot talking for about 10-12 minutes. My wife says to me, "where is your To-Go food?" I realized that I left it on the table. I run back in to see if I can obtain it. But of course they had already discarded it when they cleared the table. So the hostess tells me to speak to the manager about it, which I really didn't see the point in doing so. Spoke with him, and made it very clear it was totally my mistake and I was not pointing the finger at his staff. He insisted on providing me with another FRESHLY COOKED meal to take as my leftovers. Gave me the option getting what I already had or something different. Unbelievable!!! He went above and beyond. And I could sense he did it because he really wanted to, not begrudgingly. Never had this happen before. Popped in to make a to go order & guy at the host stand directed me to talk to the cashier at the To Go counter. After a few minutes standing at the To Go counter, the same guy from the host stand walks behind the counter and says "Yes, can I help you?" So I order, step to the side and wait.. and wait.. and wait about 20 minute before asking the guy how much longer until my food is ready.. to which he responds, "What would you like to order?" After 5 minutes of trying to explain who I was and what I ordered, the guy said, "Oh I remember" and the proceeded to call me by the wrong name and recount an order that wasn't mine. Then he walked away for another 10 minutes, returned to tell me they were short on cooks, then played the guessing game with another customer who had been patiently waiting. About 10 minutes later, my order came, and it was right. Unfortunately, the other customer who came after me was busy trying to flag the cashier/host down to explain half his order was missing.
