Michael and his team are awesome! It didn't occurred to me that I should hire a videographer for my wedding until 2 weeks before it. I'm so glad that looked online and found Michael! I emailed him immediately and see if my wedding date was still available and luckily it was. I met up with Michael and he showed me his past work and explained to me so thoroughly what they would be doing on the day. He was also able to accommodate and tailored the package to fit my needs. On the wedding day, he and his team arrived early enough to take good shots of preparation of not only the wedding party, but also miscellaneous things that add so much to the full video. They also tried to get to the venues (wedding prep, ceremony, and reception are all at different places) ahead of time to learn about the locations and really well prepared for the shooting. They also give directions to us of what we should be doing to make the video look good, tried to entertain us to make us look more natural, which was really helpful as I think most of us freeze when you know someone is taking videos of you. We are so happy with the final products! Super professional. I thought I would only need a highlight video but no, the full clean edit of the ceremony captured is really nice to keep. I wish I was able to give more than 5 stars which is what Michael and his team deserves! My husband and I hired Michael to shoot our wedding last December and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He not only possessed great customer service but his creativity was just mind blowing. Horrible experience with this company - my wife and I signed up and paid for a wedding video, but didn't hear anything from the videographer until a few days before our actual wedding. As a result, the videographer didn't know what to expect and didn't really even know who was who. He captured a lot "on the fly" which did not turn out well. The final product is a mess and they said that's because we didn't sign up for the premium, expensive package. They also said that we didn't tell them enough before the wedding and of course it's impossible to reshoot our wedding day. Money wasted and precious moments down the drain...my wife is very torn up about this. read more

Having to plan a wedding on a budget yet at the same time wanting to go all out was a task that was beyond imaginable. My review for Micha is long overdue! We hired Michael & Charimel as our wedding videographers last summer after reading their reviews on Yelp. We also signed up for their Black Tent photo booth services (our guests loved it!...and it's one less vendor to deal with). We met with Michael & Charimel shortly after I had reached out about their availability for my wedding day. They showed us examples of their previous work, and walked us through the various package offerings. They were not pushy and I liked their easy going personalities. From beginning to end, we were very satisfied with working with Micha and team. They were responsive to my email and phone inquiries, which was very important to me given that I have a full-time job and didn't have a ton of time chasing after my wedding vendors. Most importantly, they were very professional day of our wedding and we appreciated the quality of the work produced. As for the photo booth, they provided great props and good quality prints. I was most impressed by the following: - They showed up as a team of 4, dressed professionally and each of them had an ear piece they used for communicating with each other. Some of our guests commented that it felt like we had secret service on-site =) - Gave great directions and guided us to get the creative shots they needed. - I found out later that they had scouted our wedding location ahead of time and brought a crane to get certain shots from high above during our ceremony (our wedding was all outdoors). They hid the crane so well that I didn't even notice it was there! I loved the shots they were able to capture with it and appreciated their pre-planning. - The week following our wedding when we returned from our mini honeymoon, a DVD containing photos from our photo booth was already waiting in my mailbox! - They were very accommodating with incorporating the edits & ideas I requested for the final cut. read more

I decided within a month before our wedding that I wanted a professional videographer filming our special day. I contacted a lot of videographers who were reasonably-priced and who's work I liked, most of which were already booked. I contacted a few others and miCha events videography was the only one to stay responsive. Since they are still a pretty new business, they are VERY affordable and exceeded my expectations! We made a last minute decision to hire a videographer and luckily Micha was available and very responsive. We met with his team to discuss our concepts, but he really used the meeting as an opportunity to get a feel of who we are as a couple and what would best capture the essence of our relationship on our special day. They arrived on time, captured all the key moments without being intrusive or disruptive. They stayed longer than our contract required to ensure they got comments from some of our guests. Within weeks they had a proof of the video highlights that was great to share with close family and friends. However, the final product delivery solidified their customer service. We asked for a few (and probably unreasonable) tweaks to the video and they were able to re-edit the video to our request (this is after they received their final payment and personally delivered what they considered to be the final product). The price was very reasonable, but I am sure that the costs will increase because their product matches the speed, quality, and professionalism of other videographers - at half the cost! read more

My husband discovered this wonderful duo - Michael and Charimel for our wedding in Napa last year. These guys are just amazing! Firstly, they are very friendly and great to work with. We contacted them just a couple of months before our wedding and they agreed to cover it! They met with us , understood our tastes and expectations and exceeded all expectations. Their ideas are out of the box. Our wedding was at a 1857 Manor in Napa. The video aligns so well with the theme. The soft romantic music we sent them has been very tastefully integrated in the video. The titles are beautiful. The video quality is also superb. We watched it on our HD television and it was just so beautiful. They added a few snippets of guest interviews! That was very cute and came as a total surprise to us! A couple of weeks after the wedding, they sent us a link to a small fun video that we could share with our very eager family and friends! A few months later we also got 3 sets of DVDs as promised! They hand delivered it and we watched it together. They were very keen to know our thoughts on the video. These small customer oriented gestures go a long way in keeping us, clients, happy! These guys are professionals! I loved working with Mark, he's very keen on details, very patient with people like me and knows how to work under pressure/time constraint. MiCha Videography is well reviewed, hence me choosing them, and their pricing is waaaaay more affordable, reasonable than other videography companies in the Bay. Now, does that mean their quality isn't as good as those overpriced companies? Heck no! It's as good, if not better! Also, I had to inform them we were prioritizing photography over videography, therefore Mark and his team knew how to adjust, and not step over the boundaries of the photographer. It was a difficult task to be placed on them, and I thank them for their compassion and understanding. Our wedding was awesome, and the video highlight of our wedding turned out beautiful thanks to Mark and Michael of Micha videography. Fantastic work! The team was super accommodating with the day-of wedding schedule in order to incorporate all of the components into the video and delivered it within the time frame. The audio from the ceremony and reception were both extremely clear and captured so many moments that we didn't even remember. I have to knock off 2 stars due to the final product. Michael and his team are very nice and professional and they were willing to make edits after we received our final wedding video, but it just wasn't up to par. First of all, we were never given an option for a highlight video to purchase on our contract, so it was kind of a hassle to have to deal with after the wedding, when everyone is asking about your video. Secondly, after watching the final video with friends and family there were just so many questions about the video, such as certain events that weren't in the video or the weird transitions. There were a lot of great scenes in the video, but overall they got overshadowed by the choppy transitions and missing scenes that people were looking forward to. Unfortunately I can't say that I've had the great experience that everyone else is raving about, which makes me sad because we went to them based on those reviews. read more
