    I recently found out that the left front CV boot on my car was torn and slightly leaking thus a replacement was needed pretty quickly. Having had success at another auto service shop where I was able to bring my own parts and only pay for the labor/shop costs, I decided to see if Midas Rockville would let me do the same, luckily they did. After checking online, I determined that rather than cheaping out and just replacing the boot itself (~$20 in parts from Advanced Auto + 1.2 hr of labor so ~$140 for shop/labor), it would probably be better and easier to replace the entire CV axle (if I can find a good deal on the part, which I did for only $42 with tax from Advanced Auto Parts). Anyway, got in at 8am Monday, car was pulled into service bay within 10 minutes and was done ~35 minutes later and all for only a total of $160 (or $200 after including the costs of my own parts)! That was pretty amazing considering repairpal.com indicated that this service would have normally cost between $250-$600 (total had I brought it into a shop without my own parts) for my vehicle! I sure like not having to pay 'list price' for parts that a shop would get at wholesale pricing. Customer service was prompt, professional, respectful and courteous! No upsells, no gimmicks! Perfect experience!

    This is my second time here in the past two/three months. I have worked with Brad directly, the manager/owner on both occasions. Very pleasant to work with. Prices here are comparable to prices in the local area. They apply the website coupons without you having to present them. And parts not in the shop, can be ordered and delivered within mins. Due to my budget, I did my back brakes in July and my front brakes today also added on getting my front rotors done as well. Took a picture of my rotors to show my friend who replaces brakes and rotors but lives in another state to get his opinion prior to agreeing to the service and Brad was nice enough to ask if I needed a flashlight so I can get a better picture to send. They stand by their work and seem genuine. They don't try to upsale you here but rather give you the truth and let you decide how to proceed. There's no pressure to get any other service done. I was even asked if I wanted anything to drink while waiting and reading my book. Great customer service here. And my wait time was less than expected. Awesome Midas shop and service.

    I had a bad experience with Mr. Tire in Laurel, MD and a friend suggested Radial Tires in Silver…read moreSpring, MD to solve the problem with my new tires and the replaced tire sensors that Mr. Tire had broken during my new tire install and after several tries, suggested I take my 4Runner to a Toyota dealer. I am including a brief description of the condition of the vehicle when I arrived at Radial Tire Monday (2/16/26) at 2:00pm. The receiving manager and I discussed the tire issues and history. I told him I had a service light in the dash that was saying a tire was low on air and they were new tires (vs the previous service light for sensors not functioning). He measured the tire pressure of all the tires and they were all at different psi (33, 34, 42 and 18). My vehicle was placed in a service line and I waited in a lobby for approximately an hour. Radial tires took the low tire off the vehicle and tested it for leaks and determined the problem was that a valve stem hadn't been correctly sealed, the tires were all fine. Before leaving the work bay, I noticed the sensor light was still on, so a retest determined the driver's front sensor was going bad and it was replaced. The service manager told me Toyota and Lexus have challenging tire sensors, that they can often get one sensor working and the computer will then say another good sensor stopped working. I left Radial Tire around 4:30, problems solved and paid for one new sensor and install. I've had several people tell me Radial Tire is the BEST in this area and they will have all of my business in the future and that of anyone I know. I brought four wheels to Radial Tire to have a new set of all-seasons mounted and balanced. My car runs a staggered setup, meaning the rear wheels and tires are physically wider than the fronts. Since I maintain a small fleet of my own vehicles, I do almost all my own mechanical work, but tire mounting is one of the few things I have to outsource. Unfortunately, this experience highlighted a critical breakdown in basic quality control. I brought the wheels in loose to make the job as straightforward as possible for the shop, but they sat there for a few days before being touched. When I finally picked them up, I noticed the front tires were stretched onto the wider rear wheels, and vice versa. While the team corrected the mistake immediately once it was pointed out, this isn't just a minor technical oversight. Mismatched staggered tires can lead to a catastrophic bead failure or blowout at highway speeds. It is a severe safety hazard that could easily cause a fatal accident if it goes unnoticed before the wheels are bolted onto a vehicle. On top of the critical mounting error, the general pride in workmanship was non-existent. The wheels were handed back to me covered in caked-on mounting paste all over the outer rims without even a basic effort to wipe them down. To make matters worse, the shop also misplaced the summer tires I explicitly stated I wanted to keep. Management did the right thing by waiving the mounting and balancing fee, but at the end of the day, I am still short a set of my own property. I understand that mistakes happen, but a triple failure of safety verification, basic cleanliness, and property management means I can't risk bringing my vehicles back here, nor can I recommend them to any of the local car groups I'm a part of.

The NTB by Hungerford didn't have an opening until 1pm and I have to catch a flight at 5pm. I called Rockville Tire and Auto around 10am. He told me it would only take 30min, but a bay wouldn't be opened until about 11-1130am. I arrived at 11am and by 1122a, they found the culprit of the leak (stupid nail), patched my tire, and I was on my merry way! The price was very reasonable ($25.11 includes tax). The staff was very courteous. The inside of the shop is clean and has a 3 seater couch, a 2 seater, and a single chair. I can vouch for the comfiness of the three seater. There's a tv, an empty water dispenser, a Keurig (no k cups in there), and free wifi. While there were no K Cups out, you could certainly ask for them. I didn't come here for "amenities," so this didn't affect me at all. Hands down, I'll be coming here for future tire needs!

    This shop tries to scam customers who they think don't know any better…read more Had a car with the tire pressure light on. Doing some online research I figured it was due to the TPMS's battery was low and thus needed to be replaced. I have previously gotten one replaced at another shop for only $60 including sensor and labor. Only $25 for the labor if you bring your own part. Neely's tried to charge me $160 for just a 'diagnosis' which is literally a 1 min check with a diagnostic tool to find out the battery levels of each TPMS. And then they 'recommended' to replace all 4 sensors at once when that is totally unnecessary as all 4 TPMS's battery nearly never runs out at the same time. Then they want some more money for an OEM TPMS sensor when a universal Autel TPMS is less than $30 on Amazon. And Neely's will NOT install a customer provided part, even if it is brand new. Not to mention the mechanic I spoke with looks like some gang member and was super rude at that. AVOID these scam artist. If you want an honest mechanic, reach out to me and I can hook you up with one.

Based on my previous review I knew when I had a flat tire, flat tire & auto was the place to visit to get my issue solved. I had a flat tire due to hitting something on the road so I came here and after the staff assess the one tire it was determined that it had to be replaced. It cost 185 dollar after fees and tax. I like that while one staff member was preparing my new tire another worker put some air in my other three tire which was going above and beyond in my opinion. It took only about 17 minutes from start to finish so talk about quick service to getting me back on the road again. After paying my bill I even got a 10% off coupon to use for next time which was cool. All in all, this place is still great and would highly recommend anyone with tires issue to come here and get it fixed for a decent price.

    I have mixed feelings about this place…read more So 2 years ago, I bought 2 tires from here with road hazard protection. It covers for accidental flat tires and nails on the tire causing deflation up to a certain mileage you drive. So last Saturday, we had a nail stuck in the tire covered by the warranty. Well no appointment available until the following Monday and so I tried getting the matter resolved as soon as I returned in town. So on Wednesday afternoon, I swung by to have the tire patched or replaced. The guy at the front couldn't give a shit about it. He was more concerned about leaving early and watching soccer on TV and bantering with people in the back. By the way, the store is very quiet so you can hear every words you say in the office and in the shop. So I sat there while this guy claimed that there isn't an account or any records that we purchased anything from there. He asked for the phone number. Nothing came up. I offered my husband's number just in case. He claimed that you can't look it up using the number. WTF. Why did you even bother asking for mine then? About an hour later and after consulting with someone on 800 number, he says that the earliest I can get in is the following day at 0900. And to give him my husband's phone number because the account is in his name even though I'm the one returning the following day. So I went home only to get a call from the same guy asking for the receipt number from the original purchase and the mileage on the car. Uhm. I was just there. Why not ask then?! And why not get it done the same day when clearly there wasn't any cars or customers there?? 2 hours from closing time too so can't even blame it on lack of time. He claimed that whoever that installed my tires never did the proper paperwork to document we had warranty so I need to wait until the following day. What a crock of shit. It turns out he apparently called my husband to get the same information prior to calling me. He apparently attempted verifying the same information from my husband that he did with me at the shop. And my husband wasn't having it. He was so peeved that they attempted the "let me talk to the man in the house" thing. He apparently hung up and redirected the call right back to me. Not a good feeling after waiting for an hour + just to get told to come back the following day at 9am when it's clear the people there just wanted to get food and watch soccer on the clock. So the following morning, I returned 15 minutes prior to 0900. The shop was open already and AJ took care of everything. I explained that I was supposed to leave to Richmond the day prior but couldn't because of the tire situation. That I was instructed to return that day at 9. The unfriendly unhelpful guy from the day prior trotted in after 0900. He was in a good mood blabbering away about what a short day he has and how excited he was to get out soon. That AJ is such a Chic-fil-A fiend. How do I pronounce your name? Ok AJ is easier and so on. I inquired to him how long it might take for the tire to get fixed. He snapped at me saying he doesn't know and I just need to wait. Wow. Never mind I've had to come back because of him and his crew unwilling to work the previous day. Luckily, AJ stepped in and let me know he will go find out in the back. 5 minutes later, I finally saw my car getting put in the garage too. And a few minutes later, I got words from AJ that it'll get patched and he will get me outta there quickly. AJ really was the star that day at Goodyear. He did absolutely ensure that everything was done quickly and efficiently. The entire experience didn't take more than 30 minutes because it was a simple patch job. He was outstanding because it made everything work out a lot smoother and efficiently. I otherwise would have given this whole place a one-star review because of my foul interaction the day prior. I don't want to know how long my car would have otherwise just sat in the parking lot if it wasn't for AJ. On a side note, nobody really mans the front of the store often. They all like to mingle and socialize in the back. As mentioned earlier on, it's a quiet store and everyone out in the front can hear everything. Something the manager really needs to have better oversight for. I sure hope I have no more tire problems. I'd hate to deal with this again and having to interact with the above mentioned rude employee. I hope AJ stays there for awhile and becomes the operation manager. I think he'd be well suited for such a thing.

According to the technician that the Goodyear mobile service brought me two old tires and one tire itself got bouncing during the balance checking. I called Goodyear customer service, but always waiting, no response.

I went in for my oil change (finally), and I understand now why the guy at the counter wasn't processing what I was asking for. What's within their wheelhouse is what they're focused on. They do listen, but more about the mechanical aspects. When i went in for the oil change, I dropped the car off, went shopping, came back, and maybe an hour later the car was ready. The mechanic (Sean/ Shawn?) was very nice, explained a few things to me said if I keep my car this well maintained I'll be able to pass it down to my son. Also said they could check my other (classic) car if I suspect it's a water/coolant pump issue, just ask for him and someone else. Seems like a high-pressure business, moving customers in and out, but they're regular folk. The one thing I found amusing is I couldn't schedule an appointment online with my regular e-mail address. Had to use another one. So maybe Corporate's a bit petty? Didn't have a problem getting the car serviced, no side eye or anything. They were cool.

Two and a half hours later they brought my car into the bay. When I told them I was upset that they didn't communicate with me they dismissed my feelings completely. I will not be returning.

I was told they were going to put the new tires that I bought from them as my *front 2 tires* When I got home (I live 8 mins away from that place) my dashboard was alerting me that my tire pressure was dropping. I realize my *front passenger tire* air was deflating, it had a nail in it so I went back to address the problem. I was told they didn't have another tire to give me but could give me a discount of $15 and patch the front passenger tire (the tire I bought from them) I then stated I did not pay to get a patched tire (for that I could of had them patch my own tires versus replacing them) which would have cost me $25 to patch. I bought each tire for $75 each!! They said they could put my old tire back on since they did not have one to replace it. I told them to give me a second to figure out what I was going to decide (2 mins later) they magically found a tire to replace the one they had sold me. I leave once again and 20 mins later my *passenger front tire* was airing out slowly, I took it somewhere else and to my surprise it had a nail in it too!!! Coincidence I think not!
