    Beef soup noodle

I noticed this new restaurant recently and decided to try this out with my mom. We have no experience with Xinjiang food so we were a little unsure about what to order. We ended up settling on the big plate chicken (medium spiciness) and soup noodles (mild). The portions are massive! Very flavorful with the perfect noodle chewiness. The big plate chicken also has some imitation crab and veggies, stir-fried in a delicious, savory sauce. I will add that that I died a little because of how spicy it was. I recommend getting mild/minimum spice if possible because I drank so much water during the meal. This is not for the faint of heart! My mom really enjoyed the dishes and commented that she would like to come back and try other dishes too. Parking can be difficult because the lot is small so be aware. Service was quick and efficient.

Hidden gem alert!! This spot is tucked away in a plaza with a bunch of other Asian restaurants, and it's so worth finding. It opened a month ago and I heard their owner is the same as Kusan Bazaar in Mountain View. The "big plate" chicken is indeed very big; it comes with pita chips, noodles, imitation crab, and other toppings! The mild spice was actually pretty spicy, in a good way. The portion says 2-3 people but it was definitely enough for 4 girls. If you're extra hungry you could throw in a samosa or fried naan, but honestly the plate alone was super filling. I'm so so glad there's a solid uyghur option near me, and I'll definitely be back!

Always a great meal here and the server Xingrui she is so nice and patient, this is our third time here and my husband and I we love it Thank you and see u soon

    手抓羊肉/lamb

Worst ever lamb I've ever had. They charged 29 dollars for this dish before tax, that is 37 after tax and tip. In the menu it showed a picture of lamb ribs, but what I got is 100% bad cuts of meat with tons of bones. Dry and even not quite warm, I suspect this is leftover meat from making lamb bone broth or something. I couldn't imagine any restaurant dare to serve meat of this low quality to the customer. Charging nearly 40 bucks for these bones? That is scam. I have had the same dish in several other northwestern Chinese style restaurants and all served ribs that is juicy and tender. Definitely will NEVER go again

Great customer service and food was really good. I liked the beef noodles especially the sauce on it!! And I like the chicken noodles because the chicken was clearly marinated so it was very flavorful and tender! I think next time I'd get the beef noodles and I wish they had an option to add chicken to it as well. I got a medium spice and they should definitely change the name to hot, I'm so used to spicy so I loved it but not many people can handle that. The in door seating was very nice and clean. Also it's halal! Would definitely come back again

    Chicken noodle plate

Hands down the best halal noodle since I visited Shanghai. We ordered large plate of chicken noodles and beef noodles. Silky smooth rice noodles, flavorful spices, juicy chicken and marinated beef. Lotus noodles were crispy and novel. The service was prompt and he also warned us against getting medium(too spicy for our taste). Ambiance is clean and large photos to showing plate photos - we knew what to expect !

Delicious food, large bowl. Unique taste. I asked, it doesn't use soy sauce, which is a plus for those concerned. Food came very quickly, place was very clean and modern looking.

超级好吃 西北人认证 环境干净 好停车 Super delicious -- approved by a Northwestern Chinese foodie! The restaurant is clean, and parking is easy.

    Stir fried tomato beef noodle

This place has great tasting rice noodles. Both their stir fried and soup noodles are great. The Xinjiang stir fried noodles usually are thicker than what they serve, but even in Xinjiang there are many different styles for this dish, so can't say it's authentic or not. But as someone from Xinjiang, it does taste good to me. The only thing to be improved is the take out packaging for soup noodles. I wish the noodles are separate from the soup so it doesn't get soggy. And I wish they had non stir fried mixed noodles as an option.

    Big plate chicken

Very authentic! We ordered a big plate chicken if you can handle spicy,I highly recommend extra spicy for the kick.

Big Plate Chicken Fried Rice Noodles

It was a wonderful experience for me. I ordered a large plate of fried rice noodles with chicken and a family-style dish. The chicken was very flavorful and the noodles were super satisfying. The family-style dish was also good, with rice noodles, rice cakes, and naan. A bowl of multiple experiences. I'll try other flavors of fried rice noodles next time.

Because. Every time I get there I just cannot not order one of these. That loaded burrito is the best bar none breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. So on a scale of deliciousness, this is an epic winner. I switch between the pistachio and coconut late because it is, again, delicious. Not too sweet (I don't like too sweet), and with plenty of that flavor. So many times have I ordered a coconut latte at other places to only have the slightest hint of coconut. Not here, no sir, these Lattes are truly flavored and flavored well. Easy parking. Open early, so I don't have to wait till nearly noon for breakfast, is just the icing on this cake. What a fantastic sandwich shop and drinks bar. I honestly thought I had written a review, so was surprised that I had not, so here it is. The place is clean. Large windows in the front for natural light. Quiet and calm. The seating is convenient and easy, although, and it's probably just me, but, my knees struggle for comfortable sitting since the table legs are in the middle of the table, so I tend to have to sit sideways, but, that's really not an issue since I'm not sitting there for hours. Love this place, we feel lucky to have this available to use on the weekend mornings to get a great start to the day.

And at the same time, the flavors were not really there for me. Inside was clean and nice. It was not busy at all when I went and that was surprising for a lunchtime during the week. Ultimately, I ended up reading it lower because paying about $18 for a sandwich that was average.

I would not have known about this place if it wasn't for the reel. I'm also not familiar with Syrian and Lebanese cuisine. Thought I'd give it a shot. They have interesting dishes with paneer and chicken as well. We ordered two dishes- Leela lasun keema - This dish was intriguing, with cheese, grated egg, and a rich, spicy gravy. The portion size was generous; a single person won't be able to finish it with just three breads. It was very filling, we took back home the leftover and enjoyed it later with some rotis. They have another version of this- "kachu" with runny eggs instead of grated eggs.. well thought option! Volcano egg biryani- The dish is as interesting as its name suggests. The base is an omelette, and the rice is flavorful with bell peppers, finely chopped veggies, and aromatic spices. The center is with a tomato-based curry. The cheese on the side was amazing, and I loved it. The spicy guava drink is super refreshing with a playful mix of spice, salt, sourness, and the sweetness of guava. I really enjoyed it! TLDR: Excellent Fried Chicken!…read more I was just chatting with my friend about picking up Chik-Fil-A for dinner one night, and he suggested Chicken G. There's one in Fremont, but also on in Mountain View, which isn't too far from me. So on a different night, I decided to give this place a try. Short answer: it's REALLY good! Long answer: It's a very very small place. It's got that 80's vibe to it... it's like Falafel Drive-In but with chicken! The staff was nice... although it seemed like there was only 1 front-of-the-house ( I couldn't see in the back). And he was doing EVERYTHING... preparing the food, packaging it up, taking orders.... And it wasn't like the place was super busy at 7:30p on a Thursday. In fact, no one was in front of me, but I still had to wait 5 minutes or so for him to take my order. But finally the order was fired up, and he immediately told me it will take about 15 minutes, because everything is made fresh. Nice! I kinda lost track doom-scrolling, so I peeked my head up every once in a while. I guess he thought I was being impatient, but he assured me, 5 more minutes... Eventually, he called me over, and I took the thing home. Keep in mind, with traffic... it took about 30 min to get home. So the food was getting a little cool. But it was still VERY crunchy, and tasty. My wife immediately took a bite and said it was SO GOOD. She had the 2 tenders and a side (french fries), while I had the chicken burger. The burger was HUUUUGE. I yielded and got a knife to cut the thing in half so I could eat it properly. Even though it was 30 min... the chicken was still super crispy and had a nice satisfying crunch. It blew CFA out of the water, tbh. Tho I still love CFA! Anyway, this place is really really good. It does 1 thing and does it super well. I'd like to try it again, but eat it there fresh and see if that makes a difference. As it stands, I'm struggling to think of a place better than this.

Meyhouse Sunnyvale -- Excellent Food, but the Service Pacing Could Be Much Better…read more I tried the $44.95 three-course prix fixe lunch and chose the Köpoğlu as my meze, upgraded the main to the Adana Kebab for $3, and added the Künefe for $2. The food was the strongest part of the experience, and several things stood out more than I expected. The complimentary bread was excellent--warm, fragrant, and nicely textured. I also really enjoyed the green herb sauce served with it. The parsley and mint flavors were quite pronounced, almost grassy, but in a good way. It was fresh and aromatic and worked very well with the bread. The Köpoğlu was one of the highlights of the meal. The roasted eggplant, tomato sauce, garlic yogurt, and olive oil were very well balanced. I especially liked the garlic yogurt--the acidity, garlic, and creaminess were all present without any one element overpowering the others. The tomato added sweetness and acidity, while the olive oil rounded everything out. It was especially good with the bread. The Adana Kebab was also very good. My first bite came from the end of the skewer and was slightly dry, but once I got into the center, the meat was noticeably juicier. The char from the grill was excellent, and the lamb had a clear lamb flavor without being gamey. The chopped red pepper mixed into the meat also added another layer of aroma and flavor. Even the rice surprised me. It looked like plain white rice, but it was flavorful enough to eat on its own, with a noticeable buttery, almost milky aroma. The flatbread underneath the kebab was also very good after soaking up some of the lamb juices and fat. If I had one criticism of the main plate itself, it would be the proportion of onion-tomato salad to meat. The salad tasted fine, but for my preference, there was a little too much of it. I really enjoy the lingering flavor of grilled lamb, and while the rice and bread help carry that flavor, the raw onion and tomato act as a strong palate cleanser and erase it quickly. Since the meat portion was relatively small compared with the rice and salad, I would personally prefer a little more kebab and a little less salad. The Künefe was another highlight. I really enjoyed the contrast between the crispy kadayıf on the outside and the soft, warm cheese inside. The pistachios on top were not something I particularly enjoyed by themselves, but mixed together with the cheese, syrup, and crispy pastry, they made much more sense. The first few bites, especially the areas that had not absorbed too much syrup, were excellent. Toward the center it became a little sweeter than I prefer, but overall I still liked it very much. Food-wise, I would actually give Meyhouse a slight edge over Dishdash. There were more layers and more small details to notice throughout the meal, from the bread and herb sauce to the Köpoğlu, Adana, rice, flatbread, and dessert. The service, however, did not match the level of the food. The restaurant was quite quiet at lunch, but the pacing was surprisingly rushed. I had barely started eating the Köpoğlu when the main course arrived. For a menu specifically presented as a three-course prix fixe, I expected the courses to be paced more deliberately. Instead, I had to choose between continuing to enjoy the appetizer and eating the kebab while it was still hot. There was also an issue with clearing the table. One staff member who was not the person taking my order repeatedly tried to remove my bread and the green herb sauce. The first time, I specifically asked him to leave the sauce. Later, after I finished the main course, he came back and again started clearing both without asking. I told him I wanted the bread to go, so he left the bread, but still removed the herb sauce. It was a small detail, but it made the service feel mechanical rather than attentive to what the guest had already requested. Overall, I would rate the food around 8.5/10 and the service around 6.5-7/10. Meyhouse is a little more expensive than Dishdash, but the prix fixe lunch is also very substantial. I only ate about half of the complimentary bread, and I was already quite full after the main course. Finishing the Künefe left me completely stuffed, so the portion size is definitely generous. I would still come back. Next time, I would probably try the Ahtapot, especially since it is only a $9 upgrade on the prix fixe compared with $25 à la carte. The food gives me a reason to return; I just hope the pacing and attention to small service details are better next time.
