Parking may be absolutely abysmal since it's on Sunset, but man...i agree with the other reviewers who say it's completely worth it. This place has the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. These ones are soft, perfectly seasoned, and addictive. I also LOVED their chilaquiles benedict, which was soo flavorful and yummy. I also had their lavender matcha lemonade which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. The cardamom latte mostly just tasted like coffee with a light hint of cardamom in the aftertaste. Service was also great! They don't check on you during the meal tbh because theyre so busy, but it was fine! They were super fast and friendly and we didn't have to wait too long to be seated because they moved like a well-oiled machine, putting tables together and pulling them apart as needed. Would say due to how close the seating is to each other, I wouldn't recommend this for big parties and would try for 2-4 people max. As mentioned earlier, parking sucks in this area; there's no parking lot (don't be fooled by the nearby 99 cent store and baskin robbins lots youre not allowed to park in) and you'll have to drive around and around the neighborhood and pray to all the parking gods for a street parking space, but it's absolutely worth it!!! We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon but we only waited 5 minutes to be seated outside (party of 4). The staff is sooo fast at serving and cleaning up tables! This spot is located in a busy area but we walked over from a couple shops, not sure how tough parking is. We ordered a matcha lemonade and the chicken and waffles (to be shared among 2 people). The matcha lemonade comes in a big cup and is refreshing, not too sweet. The chicken and waffles was really good, the waffles were sweet on their own without syrup. Chicken was fried well. I will say that this plate is enough for 1 person, not really to be shared. I would visit again! It looked like a lot of people around were ordering their other matcha drinks. read more

We were just a party of 2, so we were able to get seated rather quickly! The service is super quick and and attentive. We were able to put in our drinks order as soon as we sat down and our food order right when we were ready to! Love that they have many vegan options. The vegan chilaquiles with tofu was great! The tofu was perfectly seasoned and the tortilla chips still had a good crunch to them. The banana walnut pancake is so good! The whipped butter is great to top the pancake, so creamy! Side of potatoes does not come with the chilaquiles but it is a must order if you're a breakfast potato fan. Personally, my matcha latte was not sweet enough for me. I was a little disheartened by how our visit ended. My friend and I arrived around 8:30 a.m. to beat the crowd, which worked well. However, around 9:20, a staff member (possibly the manager) came up to us and very rudely told us to "pay our check right now because I have people waiting." We hadn't even been there for an hour, and there were only two parties waiting for tables. In my experience, spending about 90 minutes at a restaurant is generally reasonable. The comment felt unnecessary and unprofessional and really took away from what otherwise could have been a good experience. Customer service goes a long way. I stopped by this Cafe with friends on Monday around noon and had a decent time. I ordered The New Famous Breakfast Burrito and here's a little secret... you can order it with steak with no extra charge! I figured it out as I was asking questions about the choices of protein for the burrito. The steak was not one of the options listed on the menu but I'm glad I made that choice because the burrito tasted good with it. This place seems fairly busy and we were seated outdoors. It was really hot the day we went but we still had a decent time. The workers were very helpful as well. This is definitely a location where you will have to search for street parking. You can choose how you want your eggs. I asked for over easy and it was perfect. I got chicken sausage for the meat, which I thought was about overcooked and a bit rubbery. I also got a cappuccino and that was heavenly. Parking is street. I think we got lucky because we went at a not so busy time but I can imagine it being difficult. Service was pretty good. I had the Usual dish and was so satisfied with the multitude of options of vegan meat since I don't eat meat. I've never had this many options at any other restaurant I've dined at for breakfast. I tried the vegan tacos essentially which they made sound more grandiose than it was and it was bland. I doused it with hot sauce and salsa. I'm a lover of all things floral (especially rose-related) and the iced rose water matcha did not disappoint! I also got coconut milk, which served as a very balanced concoction. Loved that it was very lightly sweetened. For food, I ordered the California Benedict. Portions are not over the top, but definitely filling! It's a small quaint spot with a nice view of the street. Parking is on the street and you pay at the meter. Sometimes finding parking is difficult but most of the time someone is always leaving. We spent Easter brunch there, I thought it was going to be hectic cause of the holiday but they sat us down fairly quickly and the food came out even faster. I really enjoyed my California Benedict, the only thing that wasn't the best was the English muffin.. it was a little stiff. The potatoes were seasoned well to my liking and as for the rest of the plates, my company really enjoyed them.
