I rarely post reviews, but in this case I felt like they really deserved one. That mediterranean food tasted so good, fresh and gave me the impression of "home made". And then the prices are so reasonable that I felt the value is unbelievable. I was pleasantly surprised. Also the waiter (I forgot his name) gave us great service and really knew his menu. Ambiance - clean, new, bar and separate dinning room options, fresh, some "Greek" decor... all great! Ps. Picture is not great.. everything tasted so good that we dig in before we thought of taking a pic

I was not expecting the ambiance to feel as nice as it did. We were immediately greeted with a warm smile and escorted to our seat. Recommendations were offered upon request and within 15 minutes we had both complimentary bread and our meal. Several servers checked in on us periodically and it felt like an upscale experience. The food quality was excellent. The robust flavors expected from chicken curry and a Greek salad were bursting in each bite. I wasn't able to finish the curry -- it's lunch time and the portion was what I'd expect for dinner. We'll be back!

Great new Mediterranean restaurant right here in Leon Springs. Beautiful decor, greeted nicely, food is fast yet somehow very fresh. Each table gets bread and garlic/feta dip. Service friendly & keeps your drinks topped up. 10/10 we will be back; I want to try everything on the menu!

The restaurant is decorated with a variety of art pieces that resemble the culture. Service was quick plenty of employees on deck. Greeted with a smile and the waitress was knowledgeable about the food and menu options. Portion sizes were generously served and the vegetables tasted fresh. Music was subtle in the background. While there is a full bar not all alcoholic beverages were ready to be served Wine options are available. Prices are reasonable.

Fantastic curry chicken. Excellent staff. Our first visit here and we will definitely be back!

We tried Milo's for the first time tonight. Saw it being built, in place of an old hangout. Overall, we had a great experience. The service was excellent, the new arrangement works well, and the food was very tasty. In addition, the food was quickly delivered to our table. We will definitely be back.

Food - (mweh) we order k-bob and wrap. Overall plenty of food. Rice was plentiful but a bit salty. Meats were delish. K-bob plates came with a whole tomato and large jalepeno lightly seared but hardly a cooked - would have preferred a small veggie salad on these plates. Naan type bread good and typical of Iranian restaurants. Restaurant - very clean and well laid out. Staff seemed very friendly and focused. Service - server was friendly and efficient and kept eye on us for refilling drinks and bread. We came on Friday pm as it started to be busy. Host was very nice but also was very busy and seemed to be doing a few jobs (help wanted sign out front) but sat us to our table quickly as we were flex on where to sit. We'll give them some more time before trying again. Hoping it evolves similar to the similar restaurants in other parts of north SA...

Beef doner - delicious! The rice was soft and the meat was tender.

Good and service was amazing! We came for lunch and this place did not disappoint. We will be back

Gyro wrap with fries. The wrap is thin and crispy.... Delicious!

Food was delicious and fresh and affordable. Service was very good. We will definitely be back!

Our twelve guests ranged in age from 14-79 years, and everyone had a wonderful experience. We began with waters for the table, soft drinks, and cocktails/mocktails (Man Walks into a Bar, Amba No. 5, Don Alberto, Green Shug Collins). Due to our large party, we had booked a chef's tasting experience, which was spectacular. The appetizers were plentiful, flavorful, and unique. Our server, Anissa, did a wonderful job of explaining each dish-- its components, highlights, even suggesting that after finishing the beef dumplings, we stir the oil and yogurt together for an amazing pita dipping sauce. Our meal included four meats-- actually five, considering an off menu chef's creation for our pescatarian guest. It was such an immersive experience, I never took out my phone to capture photos of the food (or our group, sadly). Three desserts topped off the evening. When (not if) we return, we'll certainly request Anissa again. She made the evening a complete delight, even bringing out celebratory candles for our honored guests.

Overall, I'd say most of the people in our group probably would not go back, but I don't necessarily think that was because the food was bad or lacking flavor. I think a lot of us just weren't very accustomed to Mediterranean flavor profiles and this style of dining. Most of us really enjoyed the dips, the meats, and the desserts. Those were definitely the standout parts of the meal for our group. Some of the dishes in between were a little more questionable for us personally -- we tried everything, but there wasn't necessarily one specific dish we completely fell in love with. That being said, the experience itself was amazing. The atmosphere was so cool and unlike anything we had done before. Being served course after course and getting to experience so many different dishes made the meal feel really unique and memorable. All of the staff members who waited on us were absolutely fantastic and so understanding of some of our questioning looks while trying unfamiliar foods. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the experience feel fun and comfortable from start to finish. If you already love Mediterranean food, this place may be right up your alley. I just think it's good to know what kind of flavor profiles to expect before coming, especially if you're newer to this type of cuisine. Overall, we still had a great time there.

From…read morethe moment you walk in, the space does something to you -- warm lighting, tufted banquettes, burgundy velvet chairs with gold legs, and a ceiling panel with intricate geometric lattice work straight out of a Moroccan riad. It doesn't feel like a strip mall restaurant. It feels intentional. The pastry case alone deserves its own review. Piped butter cookies, rose-dotted squares dusted with cardamom, delicate filled rolls -- it's the kind of display that makes you order dessert before you've even sat down. And then the food. The chicken shawarma bowl is not playing around -- seasoned chicken, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, creamy garlic sauce over a bed of greens, finished with cracked pepper. Every bite is layered and bold. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-fork and just appreciate it. What sets Tripoli's apart isn't just the food or the ambiance. It's that the whole experience feels curated. Like someone who actually loves this culture built this place and meant every single detail. San Antonio has been sleeping on this gem. Wake up!!

I had a hard time walking out without calling for the manager or owner. I would like to start my…read morepost with the positive so here it goes. The ambiance was great, everything from the decorative rugs, Arab writing on the wall, tagine pottery and brass crafts were perfectly displayed. The tabbouleh salad was very tasty, it had the right amount of ingredients making it pretty as well as colorful placed in the neat brass metal bowl. Now with the things that require immediate remedial attention: 1. The burger was overrated, overcooked and dry. 2. The chick pea salad lacked chick peas, dressing, onions and feta cheese. 3. The lamb Kofta plate was prepared right however, it was not enough meat for the price and the cream sauce tasted like straight butter with a hint of garlic. The pita bread was lukewarm and looked like it had been unwrapped, quartered and thrown in a microwave for 30 seconds prior to serving it. 4. Drinks Ordered: The Cafe' Arabia was very tasty BUT, I didn't get it until we were almost done with our meal. We ordered drinks when we were first seated so that was a big red flag. My wife also ordered the Moroccan mint teapot and she didn't get it until after I got my coffee. I told the barista/waiter to cancel it when I got my coffee but he said it was also ready for us and could put it in a to-go cup for her. That kind of defeated the whole experience of drinking tea while waiting for our meal. 5. The service was really slow. Took over 15 minutes to get our (tap) waters and 20 minutes for our food when we were the only ones in the restaurant until we had placed our order. 6. The waitress needs some serious people skills and bussing training to know how to serve food and drinks. She touched the tops of the glasses her fingers. She didn't greet us and practically dropped the plates on the table when she brought them out. To add insult to injury, she put the handheld pay device on the table without asking us if we wanted or needed anything else. My kids wanted to try out some desserts, so luckily for us, the nearby HEB has plenty to offer. I had high hopes for this place because of what the owner posted on Instagram and it is so close to our neighborhood. Guess we will have to continue driving further into the city to other Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern restaurants that have better food and service.
