I visited Mimi's for dinner on Saturday, November 9. The staff was very friendly and professional. Somehow, I managed to drop my credit card between the seat of my booth and the wall. Several of the staff immediately jumped into problem-solving mode, and after about 20 minutes, they were able to successfully retrieve my credit card. I am so grateful! I really needed that credit card for my Disneyland trip lol. Everyone at Mimi's was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and I will definitely go to this restaurant again next time I'm in Anaheim. Arrived at the restaurant and was warmly greeted by an employee. Happy that our party of four was seated fairly quickly and our employee quickly took our drink orders. I was happy that you have the option to order from the lunch and dinner menu even during breakfast hours. Although the restaurant does have a veggie burger patty available, for their burgers, I decided to have the oatmeal with brown sugar and dried cranberries. Recently went on vacation and stayed at the hotel located in the same parking lot as Mimi's. After a long and not very "happy day at Disney ( people seem to be so rude and nasty at the park) we stopped in to have dinner. It was my birthday and Salvador was our server! He was AMAZING and so friendly and treated us like we have known him forever! He made that night so much better after a long and stressful day! He was so good we came back the next night just to see him and eat again! He knew our drinks from the night before and this time he helped us all pick out a good meal and it was EXCELLENT! Wait on a Friday Morning was short, however service was severely lacking. Our drinks alone took more than 10 minutes to arrive. We were disappointed when two of our plates were brought out a full 12 minutes before the other 2. Restaurants need to learn how to prioritize dishes because it leaves their patrons in the predicament of eating while others at their table sit and stare or wait for the rest of the food to arrive but then have to eat a cold meal. Needed a quick bite before bed time and our adventure at Disneyland. Hubby ordered the meatloaf and I ordered chicken with broccoli and rice for the girls. It was super quiet here at dinner time. We are staying at the hotel across the street and next to Disneyland. I have always loved Mimi's so perfect for breakfast before a big day. My first clue should have been how empty this place was during Christmas time at Disneyland. Yuk! The food was fine but the place was so dirty and disgusting! We sat across from the muffin box and there were flys in the closed muffin box. Then after we ate my son opened the shade of the window and no joke pillows of dust , bugs, mites came off of it. Besides the long wait at our table waiting to be greeted with water or coffee, (with only a few other tables) our order was messed up several ways. We had to hunt down the server multiple times. The Manager also looks like she is so unhappy! I'm very confused how this location remains open. It's depressing. This restaurant reminds me of Shari's or a Village Inn type of place. They offer your typical Burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads and other American fare. I ended up ordering the French onion soup bowl and a side of Caesar salad. The French onion soup was really good but the Caesar salad was not very good at all. There was too much dressing on the salad which made the lettuce wilted and soggy. There was a burger that I wanted to try which was the mushroom and brie Burger which someone else in our group tried and they said it was very good. If I was more hungry I probably would have had that instead. Others in my group said that the food was okay but not great and the service was the same. However, it's close to Disneyland Park which makes it a nice place to go if you're starving and need something different from what Disneyland has to offer. Knowing the Mimi's franchise, my family and I opted for breakfast here during a recent staycation. Upon walking in, the front was abandoned and we had to go all the way in to flag someone down. The waiter then didn't greet us like our business mattered, didn't introduce himself and jut led us to a table. He then handed menus and walked away. When he returned, my husband asked that he say who he is...and then he did. The orange juice was bitter, the food, unseasoned and tasteless. The bathroom was filthy and staff was paired up around the back of the restaurant chatting it up about personal matters (I understand/speak Spanish). Horrible soggy cold food, and we ordered delivery while staying across the street! Tuna melt was a 1/2 sandwich for $18 and very disgusting. Soggy bread, burned cheese, you can tell they heated up the tuna on a flat top grill then slid it over to the under grilled bread. Maybe 2 oz of tuna, again, for $18. The more I think about this "meal" the more pissed off I get. Rarely have I had such a bad experience. Keeping my fingers crossed I don't get food poisoning. Chicken wings were plentiful and aside from them not being salted, my dining companion liked them fine. Kids meals, chicken tenders and Mac and Cheese weren't fully cooked, so again, fingers crossed. Lemonade was of the corn syrup sweetened variety that tasted like lemon pledge. Won't make this mistake again, hopefully you won't either. read more

It's a shame that a weirdo server can ruin your dining experience but ours did. We took our two boys (5&7) to dinner after a long day. The hostess/manager was very sweet from the moment we walked in. The server was so insanely rude, condescending, couldn't be bothered by us asking questions about the menu, in specific how to add a meatball to our kids spaghetti dinner. He literally dismissed us and walked off mid sentence. I've actually never experienced anything quite like it. He also brought us our tab for $89.10 which neglected to charge us for our cocktail. We thought they were just being gracious trying to make up for the awful service, but when brought our credit card copy it showed an extra $10 for the drink was charged. A friend and I stopped by for lunch at Mimi's on a Tuesday at 12 pm. It was pretty empty, so we didn't expect our food to take almost an hour to be ready. What we ordered: Blueberry muffin - $5 / 4/5 stars The muffin was very sweet but served hot and very delicious. The baking was also done very well, and this is probably the one thing I would recommend out of the food I ordered. Shrimp salad - $17 / 3/5 stars The salad overall was okay, the veggies were fresh, but the fruits were a little bitter. The dressing was decent, but the shrimp were incredibly salty. My friend probably had two before she literally couldn't eat anymore. Chicken parm pasta - $21 / 3/5 stars Again, very salty. The pasta itself isn't anything special, it's what you'd expect from dry cooked pasta. The marinara sauce was okay, but again there wasn't anything memorable about it. The chicken was very hard, and the cheese tasted like plastic. I did not enjoy it very much. Overall, the food was okay, but the service was terrible. It took over 50 minutes for our food to be ready, and we weren't checked up on once. We literally had to go chase down our waiter (who by the way wasn't busy at all) just to pay the bill. 06.11.17 Boyfriend received a flyer with coupons from Mimi's Cafe and I suggested why don't we have Sunday dinner there. He has never dined to any Mimi's Cafe so best to try it now, right? Parking is ample in this location despite it's at the busy location of Disneyland. We were seated immediately to a booth near the bar. Menu had good choices for kids and adults to satisfy a hungry appetite. Indulge why don't you! Their complimentary bread consisted of 2 carrot nut bread and a mini French bread. We tried their 7 meatballs appetizer. This in itself can be a meal. Very tasty and rich! Entree for the man was Slow-Roasted Turkey and I had Grilled Atlantic Salmon with sautéed garlic spinach and roasted potatoes. Both were seasoned well, filling, and delicious we think. Quickly seated fir breakfast on our way out of Anaheim during our trip to Disneyland. Service was fast, friendly and prompt. Eduardo did an amazing job and made us feel welcome. Best food in front of Disney land, by a mile. Staff was nice and the food was great. They go that little extra which is all that anyone needs to to to be successful. I wish we would have found this place for our first meal here because we never would have gone anywhere else. Even though we never had a bad meal on the Disney strip, this place was stand out the best. And not the best by a little, the best by a big, gigantic, enormous, gap. The only thing I wasn't happy about was my martini. I ordered it dirty. The ingredients in a dirty martini are, 2.5-3 oz vodka/gin, .5 oz dry vermouth, and 2/3-3/4 oz olive brine. There's a slight room for divination but that's generally the consensus. James Bond unfortunately turned a stirred drink into a shaken one, so I always assume most bartenders will make it wrong/to par and shake it, but I'm pretty sure I tasted sweet vermouth in this one. The only martini recipe I know that has sweet vermouth is the, perfect martini. 2oz vodka/gin, .5 oz sweet vermouth, .5 oz dry vermouth, stirred. A dirty martini never has sweet vermouth. So either the bartender made it wrong, or the shaker was dirty and I got something else. I bit my lip and drank it anyway, because everything else was so good, and daisy was super sweet to us. Also I'm a pretty tough critic and it's almost impossible for a good place like this to escape some type of criticism from me. But that was the only flaw in the perfect meal we had here. Well that and wipe your plate rims expo. Food this good deserves a clean presentation, 2/3 of the meal is eaten with the eyes. But seriously none of these silly things could take this place to 4 from 5 stars. The French toast smelled phenomenal, and the food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked like the things I want to eat 3 meals a day. In fact if I have time I might go for breakfast tomorrow.
