Had breakfast at Mimi's on a crazy Sunday morning. Our server was so slammed but was so kind. Please be mindful of how busy they get, our server was great I wish I got her name.

Made reservations on OpenTable, even though we really didn't need to. Our server was Stephany, she was just OK. I told her to make sure that she checked us in on OpenTable because I didn't want to get any emails from them that I didn't show up. She finally did. She sat us but then didn't come around for a little bit. I had coffee which was quite good and I was treating our friends so one of them had cafe at lait. One of the guys had the bacon, avocado omelette, and the other one had farmhouse tacos. My girlfriend and I shared farmhouse tacos, along with avocado. They were made with bacon and I wish they would've had Carnitas. My girlfriend also got one of her favorite muffins and I think she ate the whole thing. We sat near the front, the place was clean.

Do you like really good food served in August in The Mississippi Delta? Do you like to bring coworkers and clients to lunch and have your finely pressed dress shirts stick to you like you just fell in a swimming pool? If the answer is yes,come to this restaurant. The management for some reason thinks that customers enjoy eating in a 90* humid environment. the air has been broken for over a month and I have reached out to the company and nothing is being repaired. I think the labor code in California has a provision about excessive heat,so management should wake up and smell the corn chowder. Anyway there is an excellent blast furnace down the street if you want to go somewhere cooler. What I'm saying is call before you waste your time. You were warned.

Still a good spot. This nostalgic place was a staple for me over 20 years ago, and went back for the first time after a long break. It's still a good place for some good old comfort food. The service was great and accommodating. The food overall is good, comforting, and satisfying.

We went to the Tustin Location and stood in the the entry area for several minutes before being rudely greeted with an abrupt "be right with you." We almost turned around and should have. Once we were finally seated the server was in a hurry despite the restaurant not being very busy. I felt rushed so I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich. I mean, it is an Americanized French-themed restaurant so they should be able to do the American variation of a Croque-monsieur, right? Unfortunately, no. What I ended up with is a horrible - and I stress HORRIBLE - soggy grilled cheese sandwich with a little ham and powdered sugar. I would suggest training the staff and educating the cooks on the food they are attempting to cook. VERY disappointing experience. read more

I'm new to Tustin and we have been trying a lot of the local restaurants. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict and it looked good, the country potatoes were over cooked, it actually looked like they were leftovers from the day before, they Did Not appear to be cooked fresh that morning. Anyway I finished and took the 10 minute drive home. After being home for about 15-minutes I started feeling woozy, I made my way to the bathroom and just waited there. In less than 2-minutes I was vomiting, in all about 4-times, a Complete Waste of my $28.00 breakfast. That same day I sent an email to Mimi's Corporate Office, along with the store number, my servers name, the table number and the transaction number. It's been a week now and no response to my Bad Experience and getting food poisoning from my Eggs Benedict. Since Mimi's Never Cared about what happened, I decided to post my terrible breakfast experience. The entire time I was there for breakfast I only saw (4) other customers come in to eat, maybe this is why the restaurant was almost empty, maybe they Rewarm Everything to increase Profits. Mark my word, they will be Bankrupt Soon!! read more

We hadn't been to Mimi's for years and wanted some French onion soup, as it's my son's favorite. Of course we got there before 6pm on a Tuesday and they were out. Then I went to order a chicken pot pie and they were out of that too! So clearly I shouldn't give this another shot because they don't even have what is on their menu. Decided to skip the cooking this year for Thanksgiving and let Mimi's Cafe handle it! In short, it was the best decision we made. The fixed 3-course Thanksgiving menu was absolutely delicious. It started off with an option between 2 salads or soup. Then came the main course which included turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Dessert was also included with a choice between pumpkin pie or pecan! Wonderful service and staff! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a homey vibe and a fun dining atmosphere. read more

Okay. I tried to be cool. THANKSGIVING SUCKED!! They use turkey McNuggets formed into some kind of loaf. I've had better out of a can. OVER TWO HOURS AFTER SEATING! 20 Minutes for even a water. Ordered a couple of beers that came at the end of the meal! The dinning room was only half full and now I know the reason why! Everything was cold as ice including the onion soup. The food was disgusting. Okay the pie (probably from Albertsons?) was okay. What a rip off. The first time in my 43 year marriage I talk my wife into "let someone else do the cooking" and we drop into the pile of excrement. Even the muffins sucked. Two blueberries!!! I bought them on the way out (stores closed) because we were still hungry. NEVER GO HERE ON A HOLIDAY!!!!!!! Every facet of this fiasco sucked buttermilk. STEPHANIE we Looked for a promised refund. I use to come to this Mimi's years ago since I lived on this side of town. But I live close to the block so we decided to come to this Mimi's. We just came today May 4th around 10am. OMG The food was sooooo delicious. Very well made/cooked with so much flavor. Way better than the Mimi's next to Disneyland. We had the Florentine Benedict and Potatoes cooked to perfection. Definitely referring family & friends. We will definitely return to this location. Also we were provided with great customer service and I think it was remodeled for it looked more brighter than darker which makes it look so much better. read more

It's been a while since I've been here. And I won't be back anytime soon. The service was terrific. He was friendly and professional. However, the grilled salmon was overcooked and flavorless, and the rice melody was basic white rice with no flavor. The au gratin potatoes and side Caesar salad were pretty good. The meal, a lemonade, and dessert were about $45. I was very disappointed with my entree, and it certainly wasn't worth $21 (including side salad). read more

The Jambalaya from the 3 Course Meal was okay. I expected more of the traditional known but received this instead. Additionally I felt that the spices added to the meal overpowered the rest of the meal. The citrus salmon was delicious. I expected the sizing of the salmon to represent what was shown on the menu. I haven't been to a Mimi's in a couple years, however after coming here last Sunday, I was more than impressed with the quality. It's kind of a small place but it's really cute. The dishes remind me a lot of Marie Calendars, and are good comfort food. I had the french pot roast, recommended to me by Abraham. He was very attentive and transparent about my food, and was just generally fun to talk to. If he's anything to go off, it seems like the servers here really care about the place they work at. I'm very satisfied with my visit and I will be back. I hope Mimi's comes back to its former fame, I really missed the place. read more

Great place to grab breakfast. Especially with coffee and a warm bread basket. I wish I had more time on my hands to actually enjoy their breakfast on a regular basis. I also love their french onion soup and chinese chicken salad. Their menu consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of salads, sandwiches and home cooked meals. Pretty typical choices. Mimis in general, is the same experience wherever you go. I can always expect a well stocked bakery cabinet and delicious smells of fresh muffins. Oh those muffins. They can cater to large parties with a pre selected menu. My boss took the entire staff here for breakfast last year and it was wonderful. I'm a Mimis fan. read more

I love breakfast and I wanted to love this place - but I remembered why I stopped coming here. Look - the ambiance is great and the customer service was too - but my food wasn't. I wanted to enjoy my corn beef hash Benedict, but it was too sour. The hollandaise sauce was too overwhelming and I couldn't even taste the corn beef. The potatoes had no flavor, but the chicken tender appetizers were delicious. Beware the mimosa flight - it's mostly all juice! See photo... the flight is $13.99 and a regular mimosa is $9.99 so I went for thr flight. Unfortunately the flight is 3 flutes filled 3/4 with juice and a small bottle of champagne. In reality you get about 1.5 mimosas. I asked for an empty glass to dump the excess juice in. read more

Ok. Love MiMis food but service at this location has been hit or miss. Weekend crew seems to be good but Today (a Monday) it is slow. When I asked for one, she spent a moment at the screen and then told me she couldn't print it because she had already closed out my tab. I was confused why 1) she didn't give me a receipt in the first place, then 2) she decided that was the only solution - to tell me it could not be done. After I asked her to find a solution as I needed a copy of the receipt, she finally asked her colleague beside her, who pointed her to the right place, and, voila, the receipt was printed. Leading with "I can't" is never the right customer service instinct, especially for something as basic as a receipt. I also tried to buy the butter they import from France. I stood at the case for several minutes with no acknowledgment. I finally walked over to the nearest employee (her name was Lucy) who was finishing up with a customer at the register right next to the butter section. I politely asked if she could help me when she was free. She looked at me, nodded, and said she would. Then proceeded to assist every customer who lined up behind that original customer without once glancing back in my direction. In fact, I had enough time to walk to the bakery, go through the entire gift card situation as mentioned above, and return to the butter section, and Lucy still hadn't looked over. I left without the butter. Moulin used to have fantastic service. I don't know where those regulars went, but two strikes in one visit, with two different employees, is hard to brush off.

I started with the Singe Germain, made with Monkey 47 Gin, St. Germain, crème de cassis, and lemon juice. This was easily one of the best cocktails I have ever had. It was so good that I ordered two more. My wife got the Rizière de Lychee, which seemed like their take on a lychee martini. The vanilla notes made it unique and really enjoyable, but we both agreed that the Singe Germain was the star cocktail of the night. One of our favorite appetizers at any restaurant is yellowtail crudo or hamachi, and Marché Moderne's version was incredible. The fish practically melted in our mouths, but the mango-yuzu-jalapeño sorbet on top was ridiculous. That sorbet could honestly be served as its own dish. Our only complaint was how quickly the whole thing disappeared. We also tried the grilled octopus petit plat. It leaned more Spanish than French to me, especially with the chorizo, and the potatoes and chorizo ended up being our favorite parts. We both tend to prefer cold appetizers over hot ones, so next time we will probably try the tataki instead, but the octopus was still very good. We ordered the bread as well. Despite all the reviews praising it, I thought it was good, but not necessarily life-changing. The real star was the butter with the big flakes of salt on top. For our mains, my wife ordered the Hokkaido scallops and I got the filet au poivre, essentially their steak frites. The steak frites was incredible. The sauce alone was enough reason to order the entire dish. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the tableside presentation made it feel even more special. They first placed down the fries and salad, then brought over the steak in the sauce, transferred it onto the plate, and poured the sauce over the top. They asked whether I wanted sauce over the fries too, which was obviously an immediate yes. The fries were good, although I thought they could have used a little more salt. The salad surprised me the most. I originally assumed it was just there to fill out the plate, but the vinaigrette was fantastic and made it something I actually wanted to keep eating. My wife loved the scallops, which was not surprising because she is a huge scallop fan. The dish itself was somewhat bare, though. It was essentially a few scallops with sauce, so if we had not also been sharing the steak frites and several appetizers, I do not think it would have been enough for her as an entrée by itself. Lastly, we ordered the crème brûlée, and this might have been the best dish of the entire night. It came with berries and a hazelnut cake underneath. Because we were celebrating our anniversary, they wrote "Happy 5 Year Anniversary" in chocolate ganache next to it, which paired ridiculously well with the crème brûlée. That little detail also perfectly summarizes the service. Our server answered every question I had about the menu, asked what we were celebrating, recommended the incredible Singe Germain, and made us feel completely at home. Another gentleman came by to talk with us, and we casually mentioned that it was our fifth anniversary. They did not just remember that it was an anniversary. They remembered that it was five years and included that specific detail on our dessert plate. That extra bit of thoughtfulness meant a lot to us. My only small disappointment was the seating. I had heard that one side of the restaurant has a large window where you can watch the chefs cook, but we were seated closer to the bar and could not see it. It did not hurt the meal, but next time I would love to request a table on the kitchen side. My wife and I have eaten at Michelin-starred restaurants from California to New York City, including everything from one to three stars, and Marché Moderne has the makings of something truly special. The food was excellent, but the service and hospitality took the entire experience to another level. Overall, this was about a 4.7 out of 5 for us. We will absolutely be back, and I cannot believe it took us five years to finally come here.

Bartenders Noelle and Garrett were very attentive and great at making you feel welcomed at the bar. Inside of the restaurant is a bit on the dark and old school style rather than modern, but I didn't mind that at all. My only comment is that they leave the door open by the bars to the cigar patio so the smoke smell was a bit much at times.

AVERAGE. I went to this place for a church function. Our dinner reservations was for 6:30 pm. Our party didn't get seated until 7 pm. We didn't get to start eating until 8:30 pm. I don't know who made the decision on the bread they serve but they were not really appetizing. On top of that, they also serve fake butter. I ordered the seafood pasta which is a new item on the menu. There was really nothing exciting about the dish when it arrived. The scallops were real but not cooked right. There was no caramelization at all. The roasted shrimp was done right. The shell was already removed for you so it was easy to eat. They were very small though. The dish was supposed to have crab meat but it must have been in very small pieces because I couldn't taste it at all. I think this dish should be served with some garlic bread or even just toast. It was very plain. The service at this place totally misses the mark. The beverages were not refilled, even the water were not replenished. The service just never flowed. Some people in my group ordered salad and/or soup and there was a long pause in between the salad and soup and the main dish. Some of the dish came with muffins and they never arrived with the dish that it goes with. Actually some members of my party had their muffins to-go since it arrived so late and they have to remind the server about it. One thing that was done right and I know Mimi's have this as an unacknowledged signature dish, the grilled beef liver. The picture of this dish on their website doesn't do it justice. Anyway, I have to say this place is very average and leaning more to the bad side. The parking lot was dark, the service was pretty much nonexistent. I will not go out of my way to come to this restaurant. I guess visiting this place every 10 years is pretty generous. And what they heck is with the chicken decor? Going to Mimi's now is only acceptable thanks to the awesome server, Liz. Her kindness, smiley face and professionalism makes our visit much more bearable. I am really having a hard time with this place. If it weren't for Liz.... and Susie, the new Mgr. I wouldn't come here. I truly pray that they schedule Liz on Monday mornings. My friend and I go here every Monday morning, -I oblige her- since Benjie's decided to eliminate butter from their menu. We anticipated a wonderful space after the massive remodel. Sadly, all the changes are for the worse. Whomever they hired has absolutely no clue about restaurant decor and needs. It is so, so loud because of the bare flooring. It's nice looking, however totally inadequate for large groups of people. Then the horrible shouting and screaming of what they call "music". I really asked my friend to please leave. I just couldn't take it anymore. loudness from people's voices, kitchen noise, and the horrid noise called music from the speakers. Since it was bought out, they have eliminated a lot of the classic French cuisine. Where did the Chicken Cordon Bleu go? Don't they get that this is a "French" styled cafe? Guess not! And you have to guess that in order to get REAL EGGS in your omelette, you must request "cracked eggs" or else you'll get egg beaters. Yuck! They can't cook bacon well done for nothing, I gave up a while ago.Their potatoes are so awful we ask for tomatoes instead. They are always so short staffed, it is pathetic. What can I say about Mimi's? Wonderful, delicious, delightful! It is My Favorite restaurant to take My Wife on Our nights out on the Town. The food is always good, with many choices. The Service never had a bad waiter or waitress. Always there when I need them but never hovering. This Mimi's is always clean, a requirement for us. This I can see and smell. Having worked in Food Service for most of My life, this is something I look for whenever I walk into any Food establishment. After being seated immediately after walking through the door, a delightful Bread Basket was brought. Two Baguettes, crispy outside with a tender inside. Two Madolines, sweet and wonderful with whipped sweet creamery butter! What a way to begin a dinner! The main course was Homestyle Turkey Dinner for My Shirley and The Meatloaf Dinner for me...My Favorite! Home-style Turkey Dinner. A generous portion of White Turkey breast, Stuffing AND Mashed Potatoes, and Garlic butter spinach! Awesome! The Meatloaf Dinner. My Favorite since childhood. A big slab of amazing meatloaf, a lavish portion of mashed potatoes, and Garlic butter spinach! We finished Our meal by sharing a Mud Pie and a cup of Mimi's Coffee! Delicious! This was a horrible dining experience me and my family went there for breakfast the place was nearly empty yet it took almost 10 minutes before we placed our drink orders and another 5 to get them. The waitress said she'd be right back which of course was another 6-7 minutes before we placed our breakfast orders I got the Santa Fe omelet which is a three egg omelette with Monterrey cheese tomatoes onions chipotle sauce tortilla chips and chipotle sauce I thought that meant it wou do all be in the omelet it wasn't it was simply a cheese and tomato omelet with a huge amount of chipotle sauce slathered on top and a bit of guacamole mixed with gorilla chips and chive onions the chipotle sauce was so over powering it's all I tasted I ended up having to scrape it off but it was still much to spicy for me the potatoes that came on the side were pitiful there was maybe 8 over cooked pieces of potato and no ketchup or salsa of any kinda for them the only good part of the meal was the cappuccino which took almost 15 minutes to come to the table the service was slow and my food was bad but all in all its a pleasant restaurant and will probably go again as there chicken Parmesan is to die for. read more

We were looking so forward to going tonight to Mimis. I've been at this Mimi's café several times when I lived in orange county. First things first the guy that greets was a doll. He spoke French in a cute broken accent. Now onto the real deal. For some reason some servers dislike coupons. The waitress tonight was a shining example of why people stay away from Mimi's. First the minute she saw the coupon she backed away took our order and left. She also made it seem like the salad was part of the meal and not extra. I know she has the upsell because of the coupon but she could've asked if we wanted the salad. When the food came the chicken was so burnt and yet she was nowhere in sight. I had to ask for a glass of water she never refilled the water glass she never refilled the cuppa coffee she never asked if we wanted anything else.because we live in Sacramento and not in orange county I'm not gonna call the manager and make a big deal of this. But I will go to another restaurant and not go back to that one.One good notes to the manager maybe should treat your customers all fairly and teach you in nasty waitresses had to as well. read more

Just had dinner at Mimi's on 17th St. Tustin, sorry to say, a completely poor experience... something wrong with the food preparation crew, also the waiter was generally innatentive. So, 2 entrees, salmon was a dry, roasted potatoes from this morning and cold. My entree, was served uncooked, unbroiled au gratin potatoes, cold. Green beans unseasoned, cold. Dessert, served three times, first in a take out container which I did not request, then two more tries, both the same, creme brulee right out of the refrigerator, no crust... I explained there needs to be a brown sugar crust melted under the broiler... 20 minutes later comes out the same, brought out by an irate teen cook, very rude and condescending. Something is wrong with the personnel at this Mimi's.. In the past everything perfect, now many stupid errors, and I am only one guest, imagine how many others are having a bad experience and say nothing? General manager take note. read more

Sadly, Mimi's has lost its way. They keep changing their menu. The staff are wearing jeans now. Service is so so. Their identity is fading away. I think their days are numbered. When I was seated, the extra silverware was removed but a dirty napkin was left behind. I placed the dirty napkin on the edge of the table. It stayed there for the remainder of my meal. As I was finished with good, I placed the dirty dishes on the edge of the table, too. Never removed. When my bill was left, the server, Anne, asked me to complete a survey. She left the dirty stuff on the table and proceeded to return to her friends' table behind me and continue telling the story of her auto accident, which I got to listen to for my entire meal. Really poor presentation and not any real "service." But the French onion soup is still good and that's all I came for. read more

Normally visit for Sunday brunch (and Father's Day tradition) but made our way there for an early, week night dinner. Pleased by all of the pandemic-related precautionary measures taken for the reopening of dine-in option, and greeted by a welcoming group of staff. Decided on the ribeye dinner, not normally a selection I make at Mimi's...it was delicious! Cooked perfectly, the sides were great as well. Most importantly, however, was the fantastic attention shown by our server, Jared. It was our first time dining out in-person since March...Jared made us feel comfortable, and made every effort to show how well Mimi's had planned for a safe, dine-in experience during an ongoing pandemic. I had a wonderful breakfast at Mimi's Cafe, and I have to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jazmin! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She provided excellent recommendations and kept our coffee cups full without us even having to ask. The food was just as impressive--perfectly cooked eggs, fluffy pancakes, and the freshest muffins. Everything came out hot and delicious, making for a perfect start to the day. The cozy atmosphere and Jazmin's outstanding service made this visit truly special. The food was pretty good, great steak and eggs!! But Marcos is the worst waiter of all time. Just his presence brings down the mood of the whole room. His sluggish movements around the restaurant make me lose my appetite. If I dare ask for anything from him his facial expression looks like he would rather be doing anything else rather than helping me out. When you asked for water he just slams the water down and doesn't make any eye contact and leaves with asking for anything else. We loved eating here. It was one of the few times that we get to eat here during the year and we always love every single time we come here. Especially this time because our service was really good and the food was so good too !!! My family loved eating here. The kids love the food they got as well which is rare because they're very picky but everything was accommodated. We especially loved our server Joanna because she looked presentable and motivated to work with her tables and she seems like a hard worker. I have always loved Mimi's but I will probably never be back! When we sat down, the table next to us was complaining about the service; we should have left then but I was really craving their corn bread. It took about 15 mins for our server to greet us and ask what we wanted to drink (HE APPROACHED US AS WE WERE LEAVING). He apologized and asked us to sit down so we decided to try it again. We ordered drinks and salads; 45 mins later we still had nothing! We ended up canceling our order and leaving. If you are planning an event at least 15 people, this is definitely the place you want to go. Reservations are required to hold the big side room with $300 min. I held my daughters bridal shower and it was perfect! We had the room to ourselves, we came a little early to set up and decorate (though little was needed, just added a few balloons and flowers for the tables). The tables were set, room cool, bathrooms clean, service excellent, food delicious as always. I will most definitely have events here in the future. Never been here before until today. Came in w/ some what of a large group from work for our Xmas party. The food was honestly good. Unfortunately I'm on a diet so I'm limited on what I can eat. Of course I had a chicken salad and a soup. The grill on the chicken and seasoning was soon good I didn't expect it. What took our experience over the top was our server Liz. She was on top of everything! We did have one issue w our order but she fixed it in no time. After looking for a restaurant to hold a "Celebration of Life" luncheon, we thought of Mimi's Cafe in Tustin. Thomas, the manager, was so helpful and reserved the patio room which could accommodate 20-40 people. Thomas helped us create a limited menu for a large group. The patio room was perfect for our group. Everyone was pleased with their food and our server, Stephanie, was fabulous. Our group was very comfortable and mentioned what a great place Mimi's was for our event. I will definitely keep Mimi's in mind for future large groups and recommend it to others. read more

I am so pleased with the customer service I received here tonight. As soon as we walked in the host welcomed us & seated us right away. Eduardo, our server came over and greeted us with pleasure & a smile, served us our bar drinks ( YES, THEY HAVE A FULL BAR ! ) which were amazingly delicious. He took our order and within minutes we were eating, he constantly came to check how we were doing which I really appreciated. He truly went above & beyond. I will totally recommend Mimi's in Tustin. Listen here! I have been to Mimi's before and to say the least, I was not impressed. However, My family and I decided to try it again since we live so close, I don't know if they changed owners or management but the service was spot on our waitress Rosie was so nice and funny. She was on point with everything it was like she was inside our mind bringing us things before we had to ask for them. Not just that but the food was spot on! I had the corn beef hash and eggs and I always ask for my hash crispy and it was just the way I love! Highly recommend !! read more

I've eaten at this location only a few times in the last couple of years and have had pleasant experiences each time. I noticed that the menu had changed a little since our last visit. Our server, Quinn let us know that some new items were added. I had the Mediterranean chicken salad which I would recommend. It was very refreshing and did not leave me uncomfortably full. Quinn was very attentive to us and the tables around us. It seemed busy but he was available when I needed a refill or more bread. Good food and great service. read more

I ordered the Super Burger (melted double Swiss cheese, crisp lettuce, Ruby's Burger Sauce and sliced avocado served on grilled Parmesan sourdough), and I upgraded to Cajun fries. It sounded better than it tasted, but the portion size was generous. My favorite part of the meal was the refillable Vanilla Coke. Unfortunately, the response I received felt generic and did not address most of the concerns I raised and even contained repeated language, which gave the impression that my feedback was not fully reviewed. My concerns were not simply about one menu item. They included the frequent renaming of established menu items, the removal of long time customer favorites such as the fried shrimp, and the introduction of new offerings that seem to duplicate customizations that were already available. Changing names and creating confusion is nothing new for Rubios. In fact, the company has reinvented its identity so many times over the years that it sometimes feels like it is going through a long term branding midlife crisis. One year it is all about Baja, then it is Fresh Mexican, and now it is Coastal Grill. Consider the evolution: - Rubios Baja Grill (1980s through the 2000s): The original brand that introduced many of us to fish tacos and built a loyal following. - Rubios Fresh Mexican Grill (2000s to 2015): A rebrand focused on fresh ingredients and expanding beyond fish tacos. - Rubios Coastal Grill (2015 to present): Another rebrand designed to emphasize seafood and coastal inspired cuisine. At this point, the menu items probably know their names are not safe either. Imagine if McDonalds periodically renamed the Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, and Happy Meal. Customers would spend more time decoding the menu than ordering from it. Sometimes consistency is the best branding strategy. I also shared feedback about the Macro Bowl, which was introduced and then removed shortly afterward, seemingly because they don't have brown rice when you can add Spanish or citrus rice. The food quality remains excellent, and that is why I continue to visit Rubio's. However, consistency matters. Long time customers build loyalty around familiar menu items, predictable offerings, and a clear brand identity. I hope Rubio's pays closer attention to customer feedback and considers the perspective of customers who have supported the brand for decades. I remain a fan of Rubio's, but this was a disappointing customer service experience.
