Drunken Noodles for lunch for only $7. Comes with Thai Tea too!
    Angela L.

The lady working the cart was super friendly and cute. I ordered the drunken noodle and it was interestingly sweet? Usually, this dish is slightly spicy, not sweet so it wasn't my favorite. I went back home and added red chili flakes to spice it up but it was really sweet already which I'm not sure why. Perhaps they add a lot of sugar? I really wish I could have like this but unfortunately, it was a miss for me. I'll try other dishes because the lady was super sweet but would not recommend the Drunken Noodles.

    Yummy Pad Thai!

Went to try the Asian food carts at Columbia today for lunch. Miracle Thai had the longest line so naturally I went there. For only $7.50, I was able to get chicken pad Thai and a free Thai iced tea. It was so yummy! Not spicy which I like and it had lots of flavor. Hopefully this cart will be out a little longer until it gets too cold!

On the cold days that I randomly forget my lunch and I'm craving Thai food, I can always rely on Miracle Thai to have the perfect Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. When I first started working by the Columbia campus, I was ecstatic to find out there were so many food cart options. Eventually my happiness turned to hell as I found out how terrible the lines were. One cold rainy day (I actually remember the day), I saw Miracle Thai setting up. Knowing that they would soon be swarmed I ordered the first of many Pad See Ews and have been addicted ever since. I love the fact that they give a free thai iced tea with your lunch. Easily a great deal in the food wasteland that is UWS. The lines that form here can easily be skipped by calling your order in. Make sure you do this it'll definitely cut down on how long you have to wait for your food! The Chicken Pad See Ew is seasoned perfectly, offering that great balance of sweet and savory and is easily my go to pick. When I want something a bit lighter, the Pad Thai is perfect for getting that craving taken care of. I look forward to trying the different curries soon!

Chili basil chicken with rice for $7...comes with a free Thai iced tea for lunch!

I was about to go to the usual line of food carts outside the Columbia campus for a quick lunch until I saw Miracle Thai. Seeing that I just came back from living in Southeast Asia for 5 years, I of course gravitated toward this cart and got basil chili chicken with rice and am writing this Yelp review as I eat. The rice is a nice firm Thai rice and the Thai fish sauce and flavored are all there--maybe just a little salty than what I'm used to but otherwise it's great. Love that there's free Thai iced tea with launch order! Please stay around campus!!

This place is great. I stopped here for the first time today and got Drunken Noodles, which were delicious. Awesome that you get a free Thai iced tea with your lunch too! I hope to see Miracle Thai up in Morningside Heights more often.

Massaman Curry- We got this with beef which was cooked perfectly tender. The sauce is sweet with a hint of spice and made creamy with coconut milk. Potatoes and peanuts add bulk to the dish. Drunken Noodle- We got this with chicken and they gave us a generous amount of it. The sauce is savory and spicy, packed with flavor. The noodles are soft and chewy. Great experience overall!

Not all midtown restaurants stay open past 10, and I was relieved to find their kitchen going strong at that hour, as well as their dining space, which was full. Turned out it was for good reason because their food was delicious. My friend and I were hoping to eat at a restaurant nearby specializing in crab, but they closed much earlier. Fortunately for us, SaiTong's menu had plenty of crab on it, and we decided to double up and make each of our entree's a crab one. The black spaghetti crab curry and crab curry noodles advertised themselves as being very different dishes in both presentation and ingredients but ended up tasting kind of similar. One was topped with deep fried crab and used a different type of noodle than the other, but the sauces were so similar. This is not to say that they didn't taste good, but I would've preferred more variance. I'm glad we got an order of papaya salad to cut the richness of the other dishes, and I also appreciated it had a nice level of heat in it. Our servers were really friendly without being overbearing, and let us linger for a bit even after we paid the bill, as it was their last seating for the evening. There are so many excellent Thai restaurants in the city and I'd put SaiTong firmly in the category of perfectly solid spots to get your Thai fix, with some special dishes on the chef's menu worth checking out.

The massaman curry was also flavorful, but a little too sweet for our liking (tasted more like yellow curry, and less of the peanut taste we are used to) Nevertheless, I really liked their GIANT trifold menu and we will definitely be back to try the rest. Amazing ambiance inside (I ADORED the gold hanging decor on the ceiling) Bathrooms were very clean and staff was so efficient and friendly. They refilled water all the time and brought out food very quickly. We were celebrating a birthday but there was nothing brought out, so I don't think they have that kind of service here.
