I'm not much to opening up and trying different food places however, this place is a must! Their service is really fast, their employees are super friendly and their strawberry milkshake is bomb! It is my first time trying MOD's pizza and one of the staff introduced me how their place works. I really appreciated that because I had no clue how their flow or process works. It's also nice to see your pizza made in front of you and you can definitely taste the difference! I'm glad I came here to give this place a try! I was really looking forward to this "upcoming" pizza place, so I met with an old colleague here. I thought I would try one of the curated item so I picked "Caspian" (one of the so called "classic" on the menu) and my friend picked his own. My toppings consisted of 4 tiny pieces of chicken and the same number of red onion rings along with miscellaneous sources. The toppings of my friend's were similarly meager! He also had a side salad which came in a small plastic bowl with the same stingy amount of vegetables. On top of that, both of our crust were slightly undercooked. The decor of the place, however, was modern and nice. But for the money one should do a lot better in places like Papa Murphy's where you can have a large pizza filled with toppings! read more

Good food, but unprofessional crew. There were four guys working today that seemed more interested in chatting with each other than their work. No greeting and seemed inconvenienced by our visit. Had to wait to pay after they made my food while they complained to each other about the night crew. Good, but I felt like the sauce was over-seasoned. It was almost distracting. You can hardly even taste tomato in the tomato sauce. Also, the staff is, as another reviewer stated, rather qwirky. And that's fine if you're in a social mood. If you've got alot on your mind and just want to order, pay for, and take your food, maybe go somewhere else that day. That said, being able to pick lots of different toppings and not get charged out the wazzoo is awesome. Also, just about the fastest pizza I've ever orderd. I really like MOD Pizza - it's the best value-wise, quality-wise and quantity-wise. But the service at this Redmond location pissed me off. The folks who made the pizza were all great - it's usually the girl who adds the final dollop sauce on your pizza. She wouldn't swirl the barbecue sauce, and just put a huge pile of it somewhere in the middle. Also, didn't call my name until I asked for it - and the pizza was there all along at the bottom of a pile. Very slow and some hipster attitude at the counter, but whatever. I like to watch them customize my pizza and salad. Very fresh and tasty food. Had a pint of Mannys Pale Ale and just chilled out. I like the ambiance and the music is great. They play everything like the Chainsmokers and then take it back to the Cars and Pretenders. Oh damn...now Lithium by Nirvana. Most excellent. this place is pretty nice I like the style and all the signage. The service was fine and they work with you to build the pizza that you want. I like the rotunda style ordering and cashing and the sound of the music is great to were it is loud but the speakers seem to be in the back so while you are ordering you can comfortably place your order without shouting. Good music all through my stay and I like the tables and chairs and everything. They do not have very many alternative options. I think a lot of people have food allergies or choose not to eat certain things, this restaurant does not really accommodate this. Especially lactose intolerance at a pizza restaurant, I would prefer if a place that claims to modify pizzas (MOD actually stands for "made on demand") could come up with at least one option for these people. Vegetarians too are not recognized at MOD Pizza. These kind of things are up to the chef or the restaurant owner. I think that they would please a whole lot more people with just a few additional items and I could never have a party here because there is always at least one person who is gluten free/vegetarian/vegan/lactose intolerant or has some other dietary restriction that can be satisfied with an alternative product not available at MOD. read more

When you come to MOD pizza, remember to order a good amount of toppings. You can have every single topping on your pizza without having a couple hundos tacked on your bill! Sad for me, I didn't realize that until I left the restaurant. Oh well. First visit at this location and we had a fantastic experience. It is a very large place with plenty of seating. Staff greets you upon entering and everyone we talked with was friendly as we moved down the line. They offer some beer/wine. We love being able to make our own pizza. They do offer a gluten free crust for a bit more, but the pizza is larger slightly as well, so I can usually split it with my daughter. My family tried the bread appetizer this time with the side sauces. They devoured it. Apparently the cinnamon dipping sauce rocks! Free boxes to take home leftovers. I like the ability to customize anything I get, pizza or salads, and it'll be the same price. It can get pretty busy at times but the line usually moves quickly. It's also really noisy inside. So if you aren't a fan of loud restaurants the do have outside seating. I wouldn't necessarily say it's conveniently located for Bellevue, but you at least don't have to worry about parking if you're driving. read more

Awesome everytime, regardless of location, though this location was the roomiest!

First, i'm a strict vegetarian. And i do expect food establishments to have hygienic food prep processes. I went to this location for lunch (at noon), and noticed most of the food line staff using the same gloves continuously and mixing between meats and veggies. So, not only they didn't change between pizzas, but they contaminated the veggies with meats. Anyway, because of this, i ordered the Maddy - sauce and cheese pizza. And I still ended up with a pizza with meat on part of it. That's disgusting. When i went back to the counter to return it, i spoke to a couple of the associates, one who appeared to be a manager. I explained what i saw in the line (mixing between meats/veggies without changing gloves) and he just kept nodding and saying yeah that's how we do it. I even said that's contaminating the veggies and he was still just nodding. At the end (possibly because i had a look on my face) he goes well you can always ask the person to change their gloves and use new veggies from under the counter. Really? That's the resolution to not contaminating the veggies? I will not be going to this store again and will warn all my veggie friends of the same. FYI, i did go to the store on Bellevue Way (same time, different day) and did not have this problem. read more

We really like MOD for a few reasons. One being that I can order online and have it waiting for me when I arrive. It's so nice to just show up, throw my twins into high chairs, and feed them immediately. It's a good deal for what you get and the staff is always very friendly. read more

The 1 star isn't because of the food, because the food was fantastic as well as the service up until I saw how poorly the staff was frequently treated by what seemed like a manager wearing a red bandana on his head. On one occasion, he went up to the person at the register and made him stop what he was doing and told him repeatedly to get who I am assuming was an employee, "the **** out of the building now." All while customers were waiting in line waiting to pay. I have frequented this location since it opened a few weeks ago and have had the displeasure of having multiple experiences similar to such mentioned above with the same employee, yelling and swearing at workers consistently. I find this extremely inappropriate for guests to have to experience as well as employees. Fortunately there are other locations I can go to, however unfortunate at the same time as this new location was the most conveniently located for me. read more

Great value for money. My husband ordered the mad dog and was very satisfied with it since you get a lot of meat, veggies and other toppings of your choice for just $7.50. Make sure to tell them that you want to add to the classic pizza if you need more toppings. Overall a good dining experience. read more

Lots of fun to build your own pizza. As they stated, you can put as much topping as you like. Psychologically, it makes any customers feeling 1) in charge 2) generously treated 3) child-like experimental (How will it taste if I put this and that together?) Since moving to Bellevue, I have fallen in love with MOD's pizza. You cannot compete with their price and their pizzas are always top notch. I love the make your own concept. Their staff is always friendly as well. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the garlic strips. Just don't, just don't, stay away. Also the only size available is the Mod. I would love to order a larger pizza if that option was available. So whenever I want anything bigger than the personal size, I go elsewhere rather than ordering multiples here. read more

Planed to grab a bite after church with my kids. The Food and service were way beyond my expectation. My preschoolers loved the music, pizza, and the pear tea. Excellent pizza, any topping for one price! I ordered a pizza with 3 kinds of cheese, some protein options and a lot of vegetables. It was beautifully presented, perfectly baked, and tasted great without sauce! It is a nice way to make little ones eat all kinds of veggie without noticing them, because my pick eaters ate them all. Too good service for the price. The staff forgot to put one vegetable on my pizza, which was totally OK for me. But the manager and crew member insisted to make me a new one for free. And the manager delivered the second one to my table in a to go box and apologized again. All the staffs really work hard to make this place a wonderful dining spot. I have been hearing people talk about going to MOD and how good the pizza is, and that you can buy individual pies and customize them. The problem I have always had with pizza is I do not have a long lunch so usually I can not go grab pizza. Took my MIL for her 88th bday to Mod because she was craving pizza. It was OK. Not enough cheese and not enough sausage. I know you can stand there and tell them to put more on but she's mobility impaired and had to sit down so that wasn't an option. Too loud in there. Not optimal for elders. Great for kids who all want to express their individuality by getting something different. read more
