This place has lot of options and one can customize pizza as desired. However I had two issues with this place. 1. They don't change their gloves when you order vegetarian pizza. They touch meat and then pick up vegetables to put on the pizza. If one is vegetarian by religion, this may not work for you. 2. They don't like when one selects lot of vegetables while customizing pizzas. They are pretty impatient while taking the order for customized pizzas. I have tried their Bellevue location and now this Bothell location and people who customize the pizzas start getting a heart attack once one chooses around 5-6 of their "30 craveable toppings" as advertised above. It seems like the people behind the counter at every location have been taught to say standard messages like " will you be done after this?" with a touch of annoyance to discourage customers from selecting more toppings. I am a vegetarian who loves a variety of things on their pizza and as a mom would love to have her kids try different vegetarian toppings. Either they should have standard pizza options like other pizza places or they should specify limit on the number of toppings which go on each pizza based on pizza size. Advertising one thing on website and behaving a different way with the customer is crappy customer service and they have completely lost my trust. I haven't stopped into their Bellevue location since 2017 and after a similar experience at their Bothell location wouldn't want to try Mod pizza again. read more

What a great spot to come for lunch! I love coming here and getting my own little pizza or a great build your own salad. The salad can taste like a pizza in a bowl. If you haven't tried making the salads, come on in and get the smaller size (they fill that baby to the brim) and pick from all the toppings for your salad. Mod Pizza is a welcome new place in the Overlake area of Bellevue. There are 3 sizes of pizzas, with menu combo or custom toppings. There is a nice outdoor patio too. The thin crust was very good! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we found the pizza a little too salty. Their prices are very affordable. The mini size pizza is under $5 and is perfect for kids or a smaller adult appetite. The personal size is quite generous and under $8. The pizza is cut into 4 slices and they're huge. Have not tried the salads or milkshakes yet but I plan on it. I would definitely come back for some inexpensive and fast pizza! read more

This is a really nice MOD location - spacious and easy to navigate. The open kitchen is really fun to watch, and everything is clean and well marked. The staff are super friendly and great about explaining how everything works. There's a nice-sized party room in the back. The pizza is excellent, with thin, crispy crusts, made to order and endlessly customizable. I love the different size options, including a very small pie, because you don't always want that much. There's also a made to order salad option, where you just choose what you want and they toss it all together. Lots of tasty options and you only get what you want. It's located in an unassuming strip mall, but if you're in the area, it's definitely a great option for a quick, tasty bite to eat. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. They are always relaxed and friendly but fast an efficient. The food is great and the price, even better. I stopped by at the end of a long and tiring day, chauffeuring kids to and from activities and just not wanting to cook dinner. I got a mini pizza for the kids and a salad for myself. As I was getting in the car, I dropped the pizza - completely unsalvageable. I was so pissed but had to go in to get another one. As soon as the girl behind the counter saw me, she picked up on my mood and asked if there was anything wrong with the pizza. I told her no, that I dropped it outside and had to order another one. She gave me a sweet smile and asked what kind, built the pizza and told me not to worry about paying for it. We've always liked MOD, but this was an experience that sealed our loyalty! read more

Mod pizza is always a solid choice for a quick decent pizza. Love being able to select your own toppings. I have to opt for the gluten free crust, which is a little thicker than their standard dough. It tastes pretty good, but wish it was a little thinner. Love the lemonade selections that have as well. read more

Honestly, I could not give a better review of this place. It's December 9th, and I went there around 8:30pm. The people working were amazing and I got SO MUCH ROASTED GARLIC ON MY PIZZA. I mean, usually the people working out on some but I asked for extra and this homie HOOKED. IT. UP. I am beyond satisfied. You can change any of their menu pizzas as you own. I always get the "Dominic" but without sausage and tomatoes. I add cilantro, mozzarella, mushrooms, HELLA ROASTED GARLIC and corn. It's perfect. This MOD pizza is by FAR the best one. Mod pizza, like any good fast food chain has many convenient locations all around the Bellevue area. We chose to go here on a Sunny day and sat outdoors. The made to order pizzas with good fresh ingredients were a treat to us, who are originally from Chicago. Who knew finding delicious pizza could be so hard? PS - Definitely give the beer a try... The staff all greeted me upon entry, that alone made me excited to try the food. I am not sure if this is a common practice at all MOD pizzerias, but if it isn't it should be. The prices were very reasonable and the selection for toppings was on point. I appreciated how friendly everyone was. They really take pride in their customer service. I created my own pizza and got a custom shake. Both were amazing. I also like how they had indoor and outdoor seating.We ate outside as it was a beautiful day. I will go back for sure! read more

Fast is not the word at this location. I've been here a few times now and they have consistently the slowest service by far of any of the surrounding locations. The workers are intentionally slow and often seen standing around talking. I'd recommend the one in Redmond or downtown Bellevue, they hustle. Won't be back. read more

This place is great and we love to go there, particularly when it's nice out. And we used to place take-out orders all the time, too. Take out is great. You order ahead, and you don't have to wait in the huge line - you just pick up your delicious, pre-paid pies and get out. Unfortunately, their new website is a nightmare. It takes forever to load. And it has issues when I try to pay. Last time I spent 20 minutes trying to order and pay, and then called on the phone, waited on hold, and finally placed the order. Tonight after spending 15 minutes going through slow-load after slow-load, only to have it not process my credit card, I logged in to Domino's, which happily accepted in 5 minutes for a similar order. Fix the site. Your pizza is superior and the in-person customer service is good. But it's enough to drive business elsewhere. NB: It's not the local joint's fault, but corporate's. But it affects the purchase decision. read more

Great food, great customer service and great atmosphere. The owner rang us up and was very engaging and even comped part of our meal since he felt we had to wait too long (in his eyes apparently). He also came and checked on us before he left. We had a couple "mod sized" pizzas and a salad, all were very tasty and it was plenty to split between 3 of us. We will definitely return here the next time we're in town (we visit somewhat frequently for business), as it's very close to the hotel we typically stay at and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty pizza spot! read more

I tried MOD pizza based on reviews. Staff were helpful and pizza was great with thin crust as advertised. I went with a meatless 11 " pie and added som additional veggies. Can't say the same for the side romaine salad which was very salty. Next Time I won't have them mix the Caesar salad dressing in with the salad. In fairness they asked if I wanted it on the side. I hope MOD opens stores on the East Coast. There's certainly nothing quite like in in the Washington DC area. read more

This is by far the best MOD pizza around, with the friendliest staff and quickest service. It isn't as high volume as the shop in downtown, but is cleaner and more spacious. I've been in here about a half dozen times and have always been satisfied. They are more than willing to customize your pie no matter how complicated it seems. This is the first time MOD Pizza has ever really been on my radar since I assume most takeout restaurants do not offer vegan options. A friend of mine had informed me that they do, so I decided to check out the store and see what they have. First I went online and searched their website just to make sure and it looked like they did offer a vegan crust/cheese along with a variety of veggie toppings. Basically, I was pretty pumped about it (vegans will feel me on this.) When I got into the store, the staff was quick to greet me and it felt very inviting. I start off with the first associate by saying that I heard they have vegan options. The person looked irritated by my question and said they have gluten free crust. Honestly, I was kind of confused because gluten free doesn't equate to vegan. I asked if the gluten free was vegan and he just repeated himself but a bit more irritated. I wasn't getting my question answered and the guy continued to repeat himself, so I half turned to leave and said, "thanks anyway but I can't have it if it's not vegan." Not trying to be rude! Another associate working the line over heard and answered by confirming that the gluten free is safe for vegans. THIS associate gets a giant THANK YOU!! I should haven gotten his name, but he had on a fisherman's hat. You know who you are, if you read these. He personally took over the responsibility of crafting my entire pie. He pulled from separate ingredients to make sure there was no cross contamination, offered extras, and was sooo kind! Basically, he turned a really awkward and embarrassing moment into a great experience. Not to mention the pizza was pretty tasty! I really appreciate that MOD offers the extras for us, vegans. This place is a family favorite. All of us can get the exact pizza we want without spending a fortune or waiting 40 minutes like most pizza places. The quality of their ingredients is impressive for the price and the speed is hard to believe for the quality as well. The employees are odd, but in a good way. They have a lot of personality and they have made great recommendations to me that I never would have thought of (Brussels sprouts on pizza?!?! Who knew?)
