Okay so I needed a pedicure so I decided to stop in this salon on my way home. Long story short. It's a horrible gel pedicure. The polish is layered odd. It's blotchy. I have sticking up nail ends. And they do have a lot of color choices but I feel that the quality cheap. And it was not at all worth the price. It was honestly a $15 pedicure instead of a $45 one. read more

Worst nail place ever! Came in to get a ped/full set. As I was choosing my polish, I tried them on separately on my nails. I finally chose my polish, but still had the remaining polish on my nails. I got my pedicure done, which was quick and thorough. The place started to get busy, so asked my pedicurist if he had time to give me a full set. He quickly said no and said that they were busy. I would have been ok with it, but atleast have the decency to remove the polish that was on my nail when I had tested out the polish, worst 25 bucks ever spent! Never again read more

The pedicure was great. They give great foot massages. The lady who did my nails was rushing for some reason and didn't put a second layer polish on my nails. So if I hold my nails up to light you can see through the polish. read more

I have been coming to Modern Nails for the past three years on and off, as I moved further away. However, I am often of that side of town, and find that it is worth the trip. It's not overly glamorous or trendy, but they do an amazing job on my nails every time, and are very friendly. They don't try to push or upsell you all the time, and they work very hard to ensure your nails are quality. I have had weak fingernails after having gels on for too long, and they suggested I come back in a few weeks before applying new ones. I appreciate their honesty, when they could have easily taken advantage. read more

I have never had a faster pedicure in my life. I was in the pedicure chair for a total of 19 minutes. The young nail tech who did my pedicure never said anything to me until she was done and said I could dry by the front door. As soon as I walked away she was kicked back and on her phone. She obviously worked on me so quickly so that she could get back to her phone. The polish looks good but I would have preferred more TLC. I will not be back. read more

Kitty is the best.This place is amazing. The prices are They do a great job every time. The pedicures are so good. They really scrub and exfoliate your feet. My polish never chips and I constantly get compliments on my nails. My nails look so natural people never even know I have acrylic on. They are thin and cutely shaped. She does an awesome job. This place is so inconsistent. Poor quality products and staff is also inconsistent in in how and what they do for pedicures. This salon is very close to my house so I've gone here multiple times but will not be returning after my last pedicure on 10/2/17. Just about a week later and I can not walk in sandals or barefoot after this girl scrubbed the sh!t out of my heel and left it cracked and bloody and potentially infected. Wtf?! The only reason I gave a 2 is because I've received good pedicures from Pam, but she was on vacation my last visit. I have been to a lot of nail salons to find one where the gel manicure does not chip after 4 days. This is the place! I get a different manicurist every time (to try everyone all out) and same results- the gel manicure lasts about 2 weeks! No chipping, no lifting, no wear. Only once did they start to lift at like, 1 week and a half. I work in medical field and constantly wash hands, use sanitizer, scrub nails, etc. They hold up. Love this place! All staff is friendly, fast (for the most part) and do a great job. I usu. get gel manicure and regular spa pedi, about $50. I was in need for a pedicure and lived in the area so I decided to try out Modern Nails. I was lucky and didn't have to wait. The manicurist Kitty was very attentive and conversated with me. Which I think is very important. She was thorough with my pedicure and gave a good foot massage. The only odd thing was she jetted out the door after my pedi, I guess for personal reasons. I said thank you but it was a bit weird. Ohh well, Overall I will definitely be checking out this place again! Clean, lots of chairs, and watched a good movie while getting a pedi.
