First time trying Moe's and it did not disappoint! Seems like a hole-in-the-wall place near UCI Health Center, but the food definitely lives up to the hype that I was hearing! The workers were so nice and friendly, giving their recommendations for their popular sandwiches. I went with the HM Chicken since I was craving a hot sandwich. The Dutch Crunch bread that it came on was delicious! Definitely comparable to places like Ike's sandwich, just a little bit smaller. Toasty but soft and fluffy at the same time, and soaked up all the juices coming out of the sandwich. The chunks of chicken were plentiful as well! Will be back to try their other sandwiches and the soups!

If you're at UCI Medical Center, you're an eight-minute brisk walk away from this killer sandwich shop. We went with the tuna melt (the "Cabo"). Both sandwiches were pretty sizable : always a plus. The bread was satisfying and very crispy. The tuna melt tasted good, though nothing particularly exceptional stood out. The Cabo, on the other hand, was pretty interesting. It's essentially a Southern-Mexican twist on a turkey sandwich, fully equipped with guacamole, jalapeños, and what seems to be chipotle mayo. We also picked up a brownie and one of their soups of the day, which happened to be a Persian green broth with beans and noodles : absolutely divine. If you're bored of hospital cafeteria food, just know this killer sandwich spot is right around the corner. The service was excellent, and the ladies behind the counter were super nice. The inside is what you would expect from a clean, comfortable deli shop experience.

We came here for lunch and ordered the Italian on Dutch bread and the Philly Cheese steak. Lady making the sandwich wasn't very friendly. Sandwiches were ok. My husband didn't like his Philly cheese steak - there was definitely more bread than ingredients. We won't be returning or recommending.

I would definitely come back to Moe's. Fresh crusty bread ( from their own bakery ) , fresh ingredients with great flavors, super friendly and welcoming team behind the counter , restroom was clean (ish) and prices were fantastic ( compared to Jersey Mikes or other mainstream sandwich shops ). Two thumbs up!

The sandwiches were fresh, packed with meat, and the bread tasted great. You can tell they care about quality and keeping that classic neighborhood deli vibe alive. Staff was friendly and the service moved pretty quick even when it got busy.

Man we were working in the OC and stopped by Moes Deli Fire bill cheesesteak sandwich was off the hook 5 star spot !

I meant to take a photo before I started eating... but clearly that didn't happen. The photo I posted is the aftermath -- absolute devastation. This was my second visit to Moe's Deli. The first time was over a year ago, and the sandwich left such an impression that I've thought about it several times since. The bread is warm, fresh, and perfectly crispy -- crunchy enough to be satisfying, but not the kind that shreds the roof of your mouth. I usually get the Italian sandwich and it never disappoints. In fact, I tried to stop by last Sunday and they were closed, so I made a point to come back this weekend. That's how much I remembered it. Highly recommend.

Seriously good bread and the ingredients are quality you can tell by the taste! The workers are always friendly and eager to serve you my order has never been wrong and always packed! Minus one star because inflation got my 8" up by four dollars it's tough to find a decent meal that will keep you full for less than $15. For example their TBG sandwich (pictured) came in under $10 with tax now that same sized sandwich will cost me $14 the price they used to charge for a 12". With sandwiches this good I fear it may be worth the up price, for now.

One of the sandwich makers recommended The Cabo sandwich and it was delicious! It reminded me of a Mexican torta; it had pickled jalapeños, avocado, chipotle mayo and turkey. The bread was toasty but not hard or stale. Restaurant was small but they move quick so you can be in and out. Cashier and staff members were friendly! Would come back again

Ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup meal. Which was a deal. The sandwich was great, soup was good. I like a little more seasonings in my broccoli and cheddar though. I got the lobster melt, excited to get it again! I have never gone in considering I ordered off of DoorDash, but it wasn't long before it showed up. I'll be ordering again, maybe trying a different soup next time.

Tried other location in Laguna Hills and was blown away ,and was working near 2nd location decided to have a great sandwich like at other location got there when they opened to avoid crowds got a signature sandwich and noticed how light it felt ,they were very stingy with the amount of meat. at Laguna Hills location they weighed the meat and the sandwich was fantastic I did tip at both location but wish I didn't at the Orange location , so its a one and done there. read more

This is a review on the lobster melt sandwich only. It's not lobster. It's imitation crab. I was pretty disappointed to find that it's under a false name. I did not finish the sandwich and nor do I want to come back to this establishment. read more

This place is amazing. I've has the best pastrami sandwich. Pastrami is so thick and bread is so buttery. Don't know what they do but it's delicious. Glad they're here. I've been addicted to sandwiches recently and will drive great distances to try new shops.. this guy is 1 mile from my place so I was super excited. I got the hot pastrami, and was pretty excited about it until they ran the meat through the little conveyer belt thing 3 times, cooking the life straight out of it. The meat was so, so dry and so, so chewy (had a piece snap and smack me in the eye. That was a first) and relatively bland for the pastrami world. One side of the sandwich was covered in condiments, but ran out of meat about 2 inches from the end, and the other side had zero condiments and was almost too dry to swallow. The bread was good though, and the staff was nice. I'll give it another shot and hope it was an off-day. Until then it's back to Tony's or subculture for me. read more

The food is great and portions are big. My favorite aspect is the staff. I go there maybe once or twice a month and they always recognize me and have my potato salad ready to go with my order without me asking. They always have a cheerful attitude. I have been patiently waiting for Moe's Deli to open up this location and all I can say is wow - absolutely delicious! I came in today and got myself a Lobster Melt based on a friendly recommendation from the staff. So glad I went with it! It tastes like no lobster melt I've ever had before. The bread is savory and the lobster is so tender. I will definitely be coming back here often. read more

I'm embarrassed that I cheated on my friend, but I had to visit and check this place out. To explain, my friend owns a sandwich shop... I walked in to jus look, but the aromas were intoxicating. Great selection of sandwiches, and four soup options. I opted for a sandwich and a bowl of chili. I'm totally pleased with both choices. Nice selection of drinks, chips and two options for dessert. I will be back!!! read more

This is the best Deli ever! Their bread is so fresh it makes every sandwich taste amazing. The service is great too, they hate fast and efficient even when there is a big crowd. I highly recommend the Dutch crunch roll for all sandwiches. The GM is so friendly and a hard worker. I would not go to any other place for a sandwich. I forgot to mention that their prices are very reasonable. read more

Amazing service and delicious food! I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich but added extra veggies to it. I love vegetables and with the combination of the hot pastrami, it turned out just the way I like it. So bomb! The ingredients were all quality and fresh. I also had the lobster melt and it melted into my mouth. So soon the sandwiches disappeared and then ordered two more to go :) Really recommend the meatballs too! I love how they are cut in half so the sandwich doesn't go everywhere! Definitely will be back again soon. read more

This place is amazing, the people are amazing and the food is to die for. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich and is was the tastiest sandwich I have had in a long time. The place is clean and the staff is the best. The artisan bread they use for their sandwiches is off the hook. You can not go wrong with this place. The food very tasty and the prices are reasonable. Omg, it's all I got to say. Due to their close proximity to Angels Stadium, I decided to bring my boyfriend over as we were waiting for the game to start. We asked, for a new timer (BF), what would they recommend. They stated "French Dip". So, French Dip it is. And MY GOODNESS!!!!! IT WAS SO FREAKIN GOOD! I literally was stealing it from him, cause he refused to share, lol! I dreamt of that sandwich all day and night as we were watching the game, that I had to come back THE NEXT DAY, this time, with my mom. But we kept hearing orders of pastrami sandwiches. So we decided to order pastrami, along with the French Dip. ALSO BOMB!! I can see why it's so popular too. In all, great hospitality, amazing service. The cashier is always friendly and the workers are amazing. Sandwiches are warm and crispy (depending on the sandwiches). They made a returning customer out of me. I had some catering done with Moe a couple of years back but to hear that he had opened a 2nd location near my house, I was so excited. I immediately ordered through Uber Eats. I ordered the bread bowl chili, lobster salad and a built your own turkey sandwich with Dutch crunch bread. It was absolutely mouth watering and delicious. Everything was nicely wrapped and tasted very fresh. Pricing was on point and I just can't wait to order my next order. If you want a real deli taste, please come here. I've been coming to this place for years. I am so excited for this new location! The quality is outstanding the the service is always top notch. Staff is super friendly and the owner goes above and beyond to ensure you have an awesome experience. Tough to find places that make you feel like home with the quality to back it. I am a huge fan of the hot pastrami sandwich, Cabo chicken wrap and the chicken quinoa salad. Amazing deli! I'm so glad I moved where I did (right next to Moe's!) I religiously order the French dip. It is so good. The beef stock is amazing and the beautiful toasted French bread soaks up the juices and every bite is a beautiful marriage between my mouth and the sandwich. The customer service is excellent. The people working here are always smiling and welcome you the moment you walk into the door. I'm moving again soon but I'll be sure to make the drive to Moe's. read more

Always see this place driving by. Decided to give it a try. Place is spacious and has lots to offer on their menu. Sandwiches we're great. My son ordered the kids meal ham & cheese and ate it all up. Pretty decent size sandwich for a kids meal (also includes a cookie and small fountain drink. I ordered a tuna melt on squaw bread. Simple and delicious. Menu is a little overwhelming so check the menu out before coming in. Owner is a very sweet women and was very helpful. Will be coming back and possibly catering for small house parties. You get to choose a variety of toppings and two sauces. I got tzatziki and hummus which tied all the flavors together. The tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled beets and cabbage I chose as toppings were all fresh and added brightness to the meal. Pita Wrap- This is a hefty and filling wrap! Meats are cooked great, the burger is crazy good and the fries are seasoned perfectly. Staff has only ever been good as well. I normally stick to the salad bowl and leave stuffed. The key thing here is that this isn't Greek or Persian - it's Lebanese. And the flavors and spices of Lebanon are unique and for me preferred over other Mediterranean restaurants. It'd be a perfect 5 stars if only there were a lunch special or just slightly lower prices. Lots of other Mediterranean spots are easily 30% cheaper - but I get it. The Orange Circle has big rents and the oils and ingredients are premium. Still looking forward to coming back and strongly recommend.

There are also municipal lots around downtown orange and the traffic circle which offer additional spaces. We will definitely return. Loved the kitschy decor and old gas station feel.
