Their passion for their craft is evident in every conversation, every pour, and every detail. They took the time to share the stories behind their spirits and were genuinely excited to talk about what they create, which made the experience even more memorable. The drinks were outstanding. The Old Fashioned I tried was exceptionally smooth and perfectly crafted. I also had a martini with blue cheese olives, and they were hands down the best blue cheese olives I've ever had. What stood out most was the passion and hospitality from the entire staff. It's rare to find a place where everyone is so invested in the craft and creating a welcoming experience for guests. This will absolutely become a destination stop on future trips through the area. I'm very thankful for the hospitality and the incredible experience we had here.

I had the maple Old Fashioned, and it was amazing -- smooth, flavorful, and definitely something I would come back for. My girlfriend had the Sauvignon Blanc and really enjoyed it as well. One of the best parts of the night was Anna coming over to talk with us toward the end of our visit. That personal touch made the experience feel even more welcoming and memorable. I also didn't catch the bartenders' names, but they were both super accommodating and helpful when I approached the bar with questions. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and great people. They have sofa seating and many seating tables. Staff was friendly and helpful. They serve fresh pastries and also have other food items such as sandwiches and wraps. We tried their Mexican mocha and vanilla latte. Both were very good with a rich coffee flavor that we like. We also had their chocolate chip scone which was very good as well. They also have gluten free pastry options. Overall, a great coffee house. If we are in the area next time, we will definitely stop by for some more good coffee and pastries! Happy Nom Nom!

I left the uneaten item at the register. - There are so many other nearby spots to try instead of Bru. Binx just opened and offers free stickers, vegan options and a deeply friendly staff. Wendy Whites also just opened and offers a vegan chocolate cookie with a cayenne kick and adorable decor! Johnny Boy's has a big selection of breakfast sandwiches and next door at Bramble, the chocolate cookies are phenomenal! The brand new Nana's has gluten free pastries, coffee beverages featuring local brews and a truly kind staff. This makes total sense knowing that the owners came from San Diego and both worked for PPBC. Being familiar with Wild Fields award-winning brews we settled for the flight and then added some food later. Being a West Coast IPA couple, we were not disappointed with their draft offerings. In addition to IPAs, they have a good representaion of other styles, so there will be something for everyone-as long as they like beer. Wild Fields also puts together a home-brew competion, fuly embracing their community and craft beer roots. The winner gets to brew a batch of their recipe on the house system and this ultra low alcohol, smoked wheat beer was one of the most unique beers I've had. For the food, we had pulled pork and loaded mac-n-cheese. Pulled pork was fine, but I'd prefer more smoke flavor and aroma. For loaded mac, the protein is polish sausage-not something I've seen before. While it somewhat works, I don't think I'd order this again. They also had a ticketed comedy show, which we stayed for after the official closing time on a Saturday. It was fun and totally worth it. With their strong local connections and family atmosphere, Wild Fields in Atascadero is worth the detour from SLO and Paso destinations, especially for families.
