so cute! Such a lovely coffee shop on polk with plenty of seating & good quality coffee. Prices are relatively reasonable as well

I can hear chasing a high from a previous take away order here of the same egg and cheese. Back then it was super gooey and warm and the perfect texture. Sadly it was not replicated this time. An average taste at best, egg was pretty cooked. With a latte and tip this was shy of 20 dollars Service was alright, very friendly staff, however I was rather off put that they stared at the screen as the tip section came on. Cute cafe to sit in due to its interior but I will not be back to sit in it. At least they have compostable straws

solid latte with such great vibes. really well decorated and clean, modern feel with good lighting. I came early to study and it was peaceful with a great view of the bustling street outside. later in the morning, it got busier as more people came to do work or catch up with friends. would def recommend checking this cute spot out!

This cafe was cute! Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was practically empty. I liked the atmosphere as there was a lot of seating and books in the bookshelves. The servers were nice but the pastries on the counter looked a bit old as they looked like they've been there a while. I got a hot chocolate and it came out really quick. However, I lifted up the cup and it felt like the drink was only filled 3/4ths of the way to the top which was disappointing. The hot chocolate was okay; it wasn't too sweet and didn't have anything special about it. I was kind of disappointed as it costed $5.50 which is pretty expensive for a 16 oz drink that was probably only 12 oz as it wasn't filled to the top. Probably won't be back here again.

First time! We got the chai latte with oat milk and the other drink was a cappuccino. The chai latte was an 8.5/10 - sweet but not too sweet, mild chai flavor Cappuccino was average - not as smoothly blended and on the bitter side - heavy on the foam Cute interior and ample seating to work on your laptop!

It's so cozy and homey here. They are a café that serves their coffee in mugs instead of paper cups which I like. It seems like a popular place for people that live in the area to grab something before walking to work. It's fun to sit outside and observe busy Polk Street. Closes on the early side at 3pm.

A perfectly well-balanced cup of coffee + cocoa. This is definitely the place to get a mocha on Polk in the city. Also, I love the educational mural on the wall. I learned so much about coffee beans!

I had the biggest caffeine itch and stopped by Moka. I got an iced latte and left feeling not quite satisfied. The drink felt more watery than I would have preferred. However the staff was quite friendly and the inside has nice seating options.

My favorite coffee shop on Polk and my favorite mocha in all of SF! Food: my go to drink order is a mocha with oat milk (hot or iced, they're both amazing) and my go to food order is the Canadian bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. Consistently delicious! Service: above and beyond! The folks here are so kind and not to mention, extremely efficient Ambiance: cute and cozy! Their indoor space is perfect for getting some work done. Lots of seating and outlets! They have a few outdoor tables and seats that are great for enjoying your drink on a warm day

This spot is so quaint and cute! The ladies working here are honestly so nice, and during the weekdays the mornings in this coffee shop are really chill and quiet. Brought my laptop and worked here for the first few hours of the day and it was perfect. There were outlets and free wifi, and had the perfect spot facing the window. Felt like working outside! Got myself an oat milk latte & and egg and cheese croissant and they even warm it up for you without asking!

I ordered a mocha. Asked whats good cashier said mocha hence the name of the store. I was here on a Sunday. Lots of casual lounge space inside. Food: mocha had Lots of chocolate. Yummy dessert. Ambiance: nice lounge area. Not ideal for homework.

This place has potential but again like many biz here its marred by the homeless peeps camped next to it. The cafe itself is quite homey & comfy with mix of wooden chairs & old leather upholstery bench, relaxing jazz music in the back ground. The latte was good. The barista said its her last day here because of safety concerns. As we spoke one of the homeless berserker was cussing & rampaging up & down the street, yelling at passers by, kicking trash bins & smashing chairs next door...sigh. If this is in Singapore he would have been given some good old fashion justice from the cat O' nine tails.

So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. It was a beautiful morning, which was easy to enjoy thanks to the high ceilings, big glass windows, and open main door. The first floor has a central counter to order food and drinks; the glass cabinet has a bunch of rotating pastries from a local bakery. They have restrooms and a merchandise area here too. At the front are counter seats along the front window, and also a horseshoe that looks into the roasting area, which is a great place to smell the beans. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. They definitely have a larger business going on, and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, and various pastries to start our day. Prices were reasonable for the quality. The lady that I was watching was there for the matcha and I can understand why now. We tried the Yuzu Matcha Air Cloud and a Caramel Latte because I felt like we needed to try the coffee since it's a Coffee shop though I have to say I was not a fan of the coffee. We arrived just before the line outside started to form. There's seating available inside with a couple of people that seemed to be working. We originally sat in the middle section with the small round table that can't be moved but then a table opened up. There's a gender neutral restroom available that always seemed to have a line though I guess that's what happens at coffee shops. ~~Service: Good. It was quick to order and surprisingly very quick to receive our drinks as well. ~~Best Part: The Matcha. The coffee was a bit too bitter but it could be due to the fact that I do prefer to drink dark roasts. ~~Worst Part: Nit though maybe it's just me where we were expecting there to be a trash at the entrance so that we could throw away our cups as we were leaving but I guess there's no room for the bins at the beginning so you have to walk to the back towards the restroom to throw it away. ~~Tips: Get the matcha. I wanted to get the velvet but it looked so basic compared to the Yuzu matcha air cloud. The Yuzu flavor itself was refreshing in the foam form but I'm very basic when it comes to flavors and shouldn't have mixed the foam in because it was messing with me. ~~Return: Probably not. I wanted to check the receipt because somehow 2 drinks was nearly $20 but I realized there wasn't even an option to get a receipt.

Whether you are in the mood for a katsu sando, curry over rice, ochazuke with their matcha twist, or something sweet like the matcha cream pie, it is hard to go wrong here. All of the savory dishes I have tried have been great, but the fish katsu sando is one of my absolute favorites. The huge fish fillets are perfectly fried and flaky, tucked inside pillowy shokupan and topped with tangy yuzu shio koji sauce, tomato spread, and fresh crunchy cabbage. Every component works together beautifully, with richness, brightness, and texture all in balance. The pork katsu curry over rice is another standout. The katsu comes sliced into thick pieces that are still juicy inside, and it is fried expertly so the breading stays attached as you eat it. The curry has a really balanced flavor, even if I would not mind a little more spice, while the pickled radishes provide a nice contrast. I always add an onsen egg (for an additional $2) because breaking the runny yolk and mixing it into the curry adds another layer of velvety richness and creaminess. You can also tell they use high-quality matcha in their drinks, so the beverage menu is really more about choosing what fits your mood that day vs avoiding any bad options.
