Stopped by this ice cream shop after dinner for a sweet treat. The place was really small but cute, it share the same entrance as a laundromat. Street parking was easy to find. You order your ice cream from a window, there is some seating but can only fit about 4-5 people, and not good for big group. Many other Molly Moon locations also have limited seating so this was not an issue with me. Not all of the seasonal flavors were available but I think most of the regular flavors were there. I ordered the sweet cream ice cream and it tasted delicious, I love the ice cream texture. The staff who took my order was so nice and our chat made my day. Came here and the employee who served us was not very friendly. No samples (I guess due to the virus) so even though this was my first time trying Molly Moon's, I didn't know what to get. I went with the safe choice of strawberry, but I sort of regret it because it was nothing special, tasted like standard generic strawberry ice cream, not especially creamy or flavorful. My friend got the vegan coconut one which I tasted and I did not care for it. The one thing I do appreciate is there is no pandering for tips, I inserted my card and paid the amount with no option to even leave a tip (probably part of contactless payment to decrease spread of germs). You can't describe the Seattle ice cream scene without bringing up Molly Moon's, a truly iconic establishment in the area. With creameries across the Greater Seattle Area, this is one of the better places you can grab a scoop. This location is a hole in the wall and significantly smaller than the more iconic location in Capitol Hill. We went around closing time so unfortunately there weren't too many flavors available, but given the location's size, it wouldn't surprise me if this happens somewhat often. We opted for a scoop of the Yeti in a waffle cone and a scoop of the Vegan Chocolate Cake (a temporary seasonal flavor) in a bowl. There was one employee in the store who whipped us up the ice cream in a jiffy. The fact that it's really just a window on the sidewalk and lack of any seating make it an excellent option for those concerned with COVID who want to be in and out quickly. - The Yeti is Molly Moon's most popular flavor and for good reason. It features sweet cream ice cream mixed with caramel, homemade granola, and Theo chocolate bits. The creaminess of the ice cream makes it very rich and enjoyable and the little pieces of caramel, granola, and chocolate bits embedded within the high quality ice cream add a nice crunch, additional sweetness, and something to look forward to with every bite. The waffle cone was sweet and crunchy, but nothing special. - The Vegan Chocolate Cake is a limited edition seasonal flavor that we wanted to try to see how well Molly Moon's does vegan ice cream. This is one of two vegan flavors available (the other being the Vegan Coconut Chunk). Considering the limited amount of vegan flavors we didn't expect too much, but much to our surprise, the Vegan Chocolate Cake ended up being tasty. It really does taste like chocolate cake thanks to chocolate cake chunks peppered throughout the ice cream. It's almost as creamy as the Yeti we had and was sweet and crunchy, making for a really solid scoop of vegan ice cream. I do suggest those who haven't tried Molly Moon's before go to the Capitol Hill location as it is larger and offers the full experience, but if you can't make it there, this is not a bad alternative by any stretch. While there isn't any seating to enjoy your ice cream, it's perfect for grabbing a cone to-go. Its a go to spot if you're in Seattle for sure. I rode the bus 40 min to get this place and it is worth it. Its a hole in the wall spot and to say it's tiny is an understatement, I really don't think there could be more than a single person at a time. Now there are other Molly Moon's in the greater area but I was told to come to this one so I did. I had the cookie dough/melted chocolate with the waffle cone as you can see from the pictures. I want to do a shoutout for the Madrona Molly Moon's. While we love the more extensive menu offerings at the Capitol Hill location, it can be a nightmare to find parking in peak summer. So, like snowbirds, we migrate over to Madrona. We love the cute laundromat/ ice cream walk-up window. It's easy to find parking and has a lovely neighborhood vibe. The staff at both locations are fabulous- always helpful and friendly. One guy (sadly I don't know his name) always remembers us and is friendly. Cheyenne is super! I don't know about bad customer service :-) these folks are always at least to us super friendly and it's a neighborhood place so has the amazing product quality and it's so great it fronts a laundry. Madrona is really revitalizing and this is a great addition to it. This is the perfect summer place. You can get a pint by the freezer. And just beware there is normally just one person manning it so you might have a wait. But totally worth it! They have delicious vegan ice cream. And their flavors rotate regulatory. In the words of my roommate this ice cream was "immaculate". The service was good and friendly and the options were full of springtime flavors. We got the brownie sundae, sweet cream with waffle pieces, and strawberry cheesecake in a waffle cone and were all more than happy with our selections. There's a park less than a block away to enjoy eating during COVID times and the shop has a walk-up window that makes it a safe and painless ice cream experience. This particular location is a bit interesting. It's a half of a shop with the back rest of the shop a laundromat. It's like a mini version of the actual store so they don't have all the flavors of the other ones but do have about 6 flavors, two being rotating flavors. The waffle cones are made fresh at this location and they offer a variety of toppings. Today's flavors were: (everyday) salted caramel, cookie dough, chocolate, and honey lavender; and (seasonal) orchard blondie and began coffee. I tried the coffee one but the coconut base was a bit overpowering. The orchard blondie was good but the jam bits inside were quite too sweet and powerful for my taste. I ended up getting a kid's scoop of honey lavender (3.60ish) because it was refreshing and bf got a single scoop of classic cookie dough in waffle cone (4something plus waffle cone). I've tried one scoop before at the University district shop and liked the ice cream. The ones here were well made too but there was way too much lavender in the flavor I got after a while. There were LOADS of real lavender more than speckled throughout the scoop. I eat whatever is in front of me but others would probably be turned off after a few licks. Good base but I'll pass on this next time. My tastebuds and burps were floral for the rest of the day. Weird X_X Overall I enjoy Molly Moon's and say their high price reflects the quality and taste of their ice cream but I'd recommend sticking to classics. So high rating for Molly Moon but the weird location here makes me knock it down a bit. After reading many reviews and receiving many suggestions to check this place out, I can say that this place was pretty good. This location is a cute little hole in the wall place with a very colorful and cute interior. The service was excellent and the gentleman that helped me gave me many suggestions and was kind enough to let me sample many flavors. You can tell that the ice cream is legit and that they make it from scratch. Not only is the ice cream amazing but the waffle cones are out of this world. If your looking to satisfy your sweet tooth this is definitely the place to go. The Madrona area is one of my favorite Seattle neighborhoods, and a Molly Moon's presence is partly the reason. I'm usually in the neighborhood for one of the restaurants along the only business corridor in Madrona, and can't help but make a stop here at Molly Moon's afterwards. So much for walking off the dinner I just ate with ice cream in hand! But Molly Moon's never disappoints. It's always creamy, bold in flavor and yum-MAY. Sometimes there's a line here, especially at night, but it always goes by fast with the one employee working here. Just note that the most challenging part of this location is if you want to sit while enjoying your ice cream - then you'll have to walk to a park or find a bench, which both aren't far off. At least street parking in the neighborhood is never a hassle since it's not a popular area, as it's really just a residential neighborhood with a street of businesses. Also, since it is just a stand I've come here before in the evening, and they've run out of flavors, particularly the seasonal ones. But if there were a Molly Moon's stand in my neighborhood I'd easily find another scoop or two of flavors to choose from. Yassss! read more

Cups will run you about $3.50, and the Vivace coffee I ordered was overly airy and mushy (like that of cheap generic ice cream), and also came off as being slightly freezer burned. Unfortunately, at the end of a cycle a machine would not unlock. I heard some water rushing sound behind it. I assume it must have been unbalanced. after about 10 minutes, the door finally opened, but caused me to be 10 minutes late in getting my clothes dry. Is there a record for the world's smallest store that these people are trying to break? This place is TINY! I would have completely missed it if it weren't for the recognizable logo they have displayed on the street. But there's only one person at the booth at a time, and it's so small that I probably wouldn't be able to lie horizontally on the floor. Anyway, I'm a fan of the location in Wallingford. This one, not so much. It's not that I have anything against small establishments. It's just that there are better places to get ice cream. One of the first things that an ice cream store should pride itself on is the number of flavors they have. If I'm not mistaken, they had only six: vanilla bean, melted chocolate, salted caramel, scout mint, vegan cherry chunk, and strawberry. Pretty creative names they have there, except maybe the last one. I know that limited space also means limited flavors, but who said they have to work in such a small area? Prices are also on the high end with $3.45 for a single scoop, $5 for a double scoop, $6.50 for a triple scoop, and $1 for a waffle cone. With these inflated prices, I don't even know why I'm buying ice cream anymore. I ordered a double scoop of scout mint and salted caramel on a waffle cone. Two pluses here: the scoops were HUGE and the waffle cone was still hot! Now I hate to go into the negatives, but the ice cream really isn't that great. Scout mint barely tastes like mint (or anything at all for that matter), and the salted caramel is super salty! They really weren't kidding when they named that flavor. It's so salty that I could hardly believe I was eating ice cream. There's just no reason that ice cream needs to be so salty. Of course, it was my own fault for picking the flavor, but I didn't expect that I would dislike it so much. I had it with salted ice cream which I heard is one of the most popular. My ice cream was too salty. Its way too salty!!
