Love this option that accommodates vegan and non vegans. Ordered delivery - so not sure on the ambiance or service. But we love this choice as a sort of healthy option. Lots of veggies included. Special sauce is my favorite with the fries and Korean fried chicken.

Tasty! Ordered the chicken broccoli bowl, which is the second most popular bowl. I subbed in sweet potato noodles. This was so good and was just what I needed after a long work day. So many options with a great variety of healthy substitutes you can easily swap in bowls. The egg was cooked perfectly too and complimented the bowl nicely.

This place is more of 3.5. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't very good. I got the avocado bowl with impossible beef/bulgogi. It was very tangy, which was a bit offputting. And the beef was a bit mushy. While I love the concept of healthy Korean food, this didn't quite deliver for me as a vegetarian.

A ghost restaurant so you have to order ahead. They do have picnic tables that you can sit at outside though. I got the spicy avocado bulgogi. The bulgogi was impossible beef and it was well seasoned. I wish that there was more green in the bowl though. The food was not super fresh because I think it's been sitting in the food locker for a while. Overall, good bowl.

While in Austin, I was searching for a gluten free bowl place for lunch and was super excited to find moonbowls! I ordered the Sweet Chicken Kimchi bowl for delivery and it came pretty quick. It was so good. It was the perfect blend of protein and vegetables and I loved the sauce. I would love to go back and try a different bowl!

Delicious! This is a delivery order so I have no info on parking and bathrooms. I got the hot chicken bowl and added kimchi, seasoned seaweed and sesame seeds to it. It was incredible!! I ate it when I finished my workout so was extra hungry and kind of wished I had added an extra order on the chicken (it was so tasty). But normally it would have been a large and perfect amount. The kimchi was great. They offer extra sauces to add to it. I say, as someone who loves condiments, that it was perfect with the hot chicken sauce given. That was the perfect amount. Delicious flavors and GLUTEN FREE!!! They have sooo many gluten free options! Oh, I also got the Nutella chia pudding. It comes in a generous servings. I was so excited for gf and healthy (ish) dessert options I ate it before I got a picture! Sorry! But it was delicious. Perfect pudding texture not runny at all and not too thick. Overall I would buy again, easily

I was really excited to try Moonbowls because I was in the mood for something healthy, and Moonbowls just looked so delicious! I was surprised to see how expensive it was though. The base bowl isn't too bad, although on the pricier side. But if you want to make any customizations, it's a certain amount per ingredient which can add up fast. I wish either the base bowls came with a little more variety, or you could customize like 3 extra ingredients for a certain price. When my bowl arrived, it wasn't the prettiest thing, but that doesn't matter as much as long as it tasted good. And ultimately, while the flavors were there, I was sad to find out that the bowl was quite shallow and I was not full at all, and actually still kinda hungry.

Wow! I have been gluten free for nearly 10 years, so any place that offers a complete gf menu brings happy tears to my eyes! Moonbowls is truly delicious! I highly recommend the fried chicken bowl. Seriously so good. Will definitely come again next time we're in Austin!

It's pretty much a take out place where there's a couple restaurants that share space for deliveries and you order and then pick up from designated lockers. There was a pretty decent amount of parking so not a struggle to pick up like some places and food is ready within about 15 minutes. Found a great deal on Uber eats and have tried the sesame surprise bowl with sesame white rice and Korean hot chicken with brown rice. Easy fairly healthy options that fill you up without making you feel like you need a nap afterwards. Kinda reminiscent of an Asian chipotle/cava with similar pricing. Sesame Surprise: Good combination of flavors and a perfect lunch, except they forgot the dried seaweed. Hot Chicken: Also a nice lunch/dinner option and I would never have thought pineapple worked in this type of bowl but it does! Careful on the sauce because it + the fresh jalapeño has a good kick and can overpower the tastebuds.

The bowl isn't even half way full

I absolutely LOVE moonbowls. But the more I order the smaller the portions are. Today my bowl was $20. I asked for Avocado and other add ons which I didn't get. I barellllly had even a full meal let alone a full bowl- it wasn't even to the halfway line of the bowl lol a toddler could've eaten this and still been hungry. Total rip off Just ordered again- once again no avocado when you pay extra for it and the rice was not cooked all the way and was crunchy.

Avocado bulgogi bowl with missing avocado
    Michelle A.

It was alright. Ordered for dinner last night off DoorDash. It was delivered quickly enough but, arrived at a mediocre temperature (this is somewhat understandable with delivery, of course). I ordered the Nutella chia pudding and the avocado bulgogi bowl. To my disappointment there was no avocado in my bowl! Considering the price and the fact "avocado" is literally in the title that was a bit of a letdown. I don't know if they just forgot to put it in or ran out of it since it was late. Either way, that was a big nope for me. The protein is on the light side, as other reviewers have stated however, I was impressed with the texture and flavor of the impossible meat. If you hadn't told me it wasn't real meat, I would have never known. With that being said, the whole dish was a bit dry and just lacking something in my opinion...I think if I had ordered extra sauce that would have helped but, I shouldn't have to do this to make the bowl tasty. The chia pudding was the same. Decent , but just missing flavor. I might try it again. It has potential but, just didn't do it for me this time.

I found this place randomly one day as I was scrolling through Uber Eats and I'm so glad I did! I love Korean food and it's even better when it's healthy for you. We ended up ordering through their website for delivery (there was no delivery charge when we ordered!) and it was delivered through doordash. The food came a lot more quickly than we expected (unlike Uber Eats a lot of the time). I ended up getting the avocado bulgogi bowl with bamboo rice and my boyfriend got the sesame surprise with cauliflower rice. We also got the cauliflower wings to share. All were extremely delicious and we were so happy to have some healthier options and vegetarian dishes to choose from. I was so surprised by the avocado bulgogi bowl. The impossible meat tasted pretty much like real meat. It was so similar that I wondered if maybe I had gotten real beef! Even my meat-eater boyfriend was surprised. The portion sizes pretty sizeable and I definitely could not finish it all in one sitting. The cauliflower wings were not as wing-like as we thought they might be or as they seemed in the pictures. They were still good, but I was expecting a little bit more for $12. I wouldn't say that this is authentic Korean food, but moreso a "healthified" take on Korean food. Overall, we loved this place and will definitely be back!

As a…read moreKorean American who's spent a lifetime eating great Korean food at home and in restaurants, my standards are high. That said, this was easily the best Korean meal I've had in Austin, and honestly, it might be the best I've had in Texas. The soondubu arrived absolutely piping hot. I ordered the mushroom version, and it was packed with a wide variety of mushrooms rather than just a few token pieces. Even when ordered spicy, the broth still had incredible depth and flavor that wasn't just heat for the sake of heat. The tteokbokki was addictive. We ended up adding cheese and ramen, which took it to another level. The marinated kalbi was equally impressive: high-quality meat with very little fat and generous portions. The banchan was also top-tier. Standouts included the soy-glazed potatoes, fresh kimchi, and japchae. They also serve purple rice, which has a wonderful chewy texture and feels like a more thoughtful alternative to standard white rice. The food alone would bring me back, but the service was excellent as well; friendly, attentive, and efficient. We came for an early dinner and got seated right away, but if you're planning to come during peak dinner hours, expect a wait. The locals clearly know this place is something special. Huge parking lot and the dining area is bright and airy, even playing the world cup games. Seems to be very family friendly.

The cold noodles had a great taste, but were not served with any accompaniment except some ginger. The six pieces of galbi we ordered included one piece that was purely gristly and bone. We had a pretty uncomfortable table wedged between a large family dinner and the server station, blocked from the windows by a giant wall.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and such positive energy. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and chill vibe made us feel right at home. Every dish we ordered was outstanding and packed with flavor. The seafood pancake was cooked to crispy perfection, something that's surprisingly hard to find, as it's often left a bit doughy at other restaurants. The steamed egg was light, fluffy, and comforting, while the spicy tofu pork soup was phenomenal. It had just the right amount of heat, with silky, melt-in-your-mouth tofu and incredibly tender pork belly that paired perfectly with a bowl of rice. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. At one point I accidentally dropped my chopsticks, and before I could even ask for another pair, one of the servers noticed from across the restaurant and immediately brought me a new set. It's those small, thoughtful touches that really set a restaurant apart. SOHA exceeded my expectations in every way. Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. The Korean ladies who work there are super friendly and will help you make your menu selection if you have any questions. I've been a dedicated regular since 2023. Narrow Street is my go-to for my Korean food fix!

Parking is decently okay, my only complaint is the spaces are small and I don't have a big car, just a 4-door sedan and it barely fit in the spot. So if you have a big car or a nice one, I would recommend parking a bit further away and just walking to the restaurant. I am going to focus more on the cooked items as most people here already gave their review on the sushi. Hangover ramen, not too bad. It is like Shin Ramen Instant Noodles with a lighter flavor, nice touch with the bean sprout as it is a needed texture element. Add the gyoza into it and it makes it even better. Cucumber salad, not bad at all. It is missing a bit of spice to it. A touch of chili oil on it would kick this dish up a bit. It is refreshing and a must at the table. Truffle fries, please skip this. No salt on the fries if you are okay with it. It is just a bit of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It is lacking in flavor. Yaki Udon, skip this as well. Not sure if it was just the day I went but the sauce was not so great. It was this sweet and sour taste but it was swimming on the bottom of the bowl like the sauce was poured on top of it at the end instead of being stir-fried into it in a wok or a pan. The first few bites are okay but the bottom half is just swimming in that sauce. Spicy Pork Bulgogi, decent size overall, not too bad. I would order like kimchi rice to eat with it next time if I come back. I do wish it was a bit more charred just to give it a bit of a textual element to it. also another thing to note, the bathroom is shared with the restaurant next door to it.
