The most amazing experience at this quaint Café! I have never felt more at home in a restaurant before! The food was so delicious, I couldn't put the fork down! Being vegan, I understand it can be difficult to get all of the joyous flavors packed into different types of food, but oh boy did they really out do themselves with just the right flava flav in each dish! Furthermore, the service was downright glorious (just as the name states).. the women working were so friendly, I felt as if we had been friends for a lifetime! From the moment I had arrived, jokes and laughs were flying all over that place! I couldn't have been more ecstatic about every aspect of this lovely Café! I will 150% be returning, even if it's just to say hello or grab one of their tasty smoothies (filled to the brim with love!) I am not vegan or vegetarian, but appreciate good homemade food. I took a friend here for lunch and it was delicious. I ordered a burro and it was the best burro I have had ever at a restaurant. It was covered with a warm chili sauce and avocado cream. My friend ordered the blue corn tamales. Both dishes were beautiful and filling. Not online the food wonderful, but it is cooked with great care and everyone who works here made the experience that much better. I was in town for a couple of days visiting and was so surprised to come up son such a great place to have morning coffee. They have a larger breakfast menu on the weekends- the French toast is amazing and made with baguette. I also tried the blue corn tamales and was happy that while vegetarian, they weren't totally inauthentic!!! They were nice and spicy and all the sauces were great. Overall a gem. read more

We found this awesome place on Yelp as we were passing through Flagstaff. We are wise to handmade food. We have energy in our bodies and that energy gets transferred to the food we eat. Jewels, the owner, knows this all too well. Her and her team make sure they are putting in the secret ingredient to your handmade food: love. This place is an evolution. The owner acquired the restaurant from a friend who she pays homage to with a piece of art on the wall. The restaurant feels like a home, a humbled home with paintings from local artists all over the walls which all revolves around a kitchen that you can see from the counter. Jewels and her team treat every customer as if they were a friend in this home. If something doesn't go right, Jewels is going to go above and beyond to make things right and she does it with such love and compassion. There's no rhetoric around the customer is right. Her and her team just treat you right. They see the divine being in you. We really loved the vibe and the care we and the food we ate received. We are so thankful we found this cozy place. Ok, so the food probably deserves 4 stars, but the women working there earn an extra star for their amazing energy. They treat everyone they meet like loved ones. The food is mostly vegan, with the option of regular or soy cheese in a couple dishes. Its also mostly organic. Don't go there if you're used to corporate chains though... dishes are prepared individually and may take a little time coming out. I'm not a vegetarian, but every now and then I just want veg. I do love veg! Especially if someone is creative with the dishes. You don't have to have meat for a great meal. My friend and I decided to try this location after perusing the menu. We were both pleased by the descriptions and our mouths started watering like Pavlov's Dogs. We headed over and got there when it opened on a Sunday morning. Shortly later it was full. Get there early. I had the Vegan "Bennys" and a Kombucha Mimosa. I choose the Wheat Toast and Mixed Fruit as my sides. I know a real Hollandaise Sauce is very fatty and I was a little apprehensive about a Vegetarian version. Instead, I was amazed by a rich sauce with some wonderful delicate flavor. It does have Tofu and they cook it nice a crisp and delicious. My friend had the Bean Bowl. I can't remember it's name but it had warm pinto beans, some varieties of veg and a nice creme sauce. It was outstanding and filling. I had to help out a little to my pleasure. We snagged the last 2 oatmeal cookies to go and had a wonderful experience leaving full and very satisfied. read more

We walked in at 2 on a Wednesday, and the place was deserted. We ordered The Burro and The Melt, then grabbed some yummy chips and salsa to wait. After not too long, the kitchen brought us some complimentary fruit salad (two bowls!) Because they accidentally made the burro with pico inside instead of on the side- a mistake they caught before it left the kitchen! Everything was really fresh tasting and just good. The meal more than lasted us the rest of the day. I am still thinking about that good, spicy enchilada sauce. Soo good. We will definitely eat here again. Morning glory has a very homey environment and feels like you've stopped at a family member's or friend's house for brunch. Everything is made fresh right when you order and for this reason it can take a while to get your food. Wow! What a deal for Saturday brunch. $10 for an entree and two sides. My hubby and I split our entrees; vegan tamales and tofu Benedict. The tofu was perfect, not too crunchy or soft. I'd never had vegan tamales, and they were one phenomenal. The calabaza was amazing, not your usual squash. The berry lemonade was not too tart or sweet. Delicious!!! All we very good (we loved the hempburger and porridge). It is a small place, but has been in business since 1985 so you know they are doing things right.
