I had a reservation and was told to wait a moment but there was no one else in front of us. We were seated about 10 minutes later no biggie. I'm 8 months pregnant and the hostess pulled the table out and she pushed it back in for me. You don't get that any and everywhere. I can't wait to return plates start about $30-40 and above so do not come cheap and have your appetite ready! Our experience at Morton's was a clear 5-Star not only because of the phenomenal food, but the friendliness of server and all other employees that interacted with us was unlike any experience we've had in the burbs. The last thing we expected was a small family vibe to this chain restaurant, but Diana hit it out of the park! We sat at a high top in the bar and opted to try out the latest 3-course menu deal, which is a great deal! I got the toast trio, filet mignon, asparagus and chocolate mouse. Everything was made to perfection. My husband had the Ceasar salad, salmon and berries and shortcake. For $49 per person you can't beat this delicious deal plus there's additional savings if you add a bottle of wine vs. ordering by the glass. We were hungering for a great steak and my wife came across, online, a Labor Day Weekend special at Morton's The Steakhouse. It was $69 for a three-course meal. Sounded like a great deal so we made reservations for the Naperville Morton's on Friday night and went with a couple of good friends. We got there, had a great cocktail at the bar and then were seated in the dining room. The hostess left behind food menus and wine list but nothing about the Labor Day Weekend special. No problem, I thought, I'm sure the waitress will tell us about it. Nothing, she greeted us, took our drink order and didn't say anything about the special. When she returned, I asked pointedly if there were any specials I should know about. She mentioned that there was a special on the Waygu steaks. That's it, nothing about the three-course meal special. I had to ask her directly about the special. She admitted, somewhat awkwardly, that "oh yeah" there is that special, "Did we want that?" My girlfriend treated me to a birthday dinner at Morton's in Naperville. The restaurant did a bunch of little things to make this evening extra special. First, the menu was personalized with my name on it (picture enclosed). Next, the hostess came over and took a picture of us. She returned with an actual picture to take home. Our waitress was the best. She gave us privacy and allowed me and my girlfriend catch up since we hadn't seen each other since Covid started. Stopped by yesterday with a couple of friends for dinner at this location and was really impressed by the beauty of the restaurant and the prompt customer service as we were seated immediately with the cocktail and wine menus! Morton is one of favorite places to eat and they never disappoints! Took my nieces there last night to celebrate one of them graduating nursing school. When we got there, they had custom menus for us, congratulating my niece. It's not the Morton's I remember. The quality of service has taken a serious decline. The food is still good but prices are higher and portions are smaller. Maybe it's just this location since I went to a location in Puerto Rico last year that was great. We had to flag the waitress down if we needed anything. She only paid attention to the larger parties. When we had questions or offered feedback she told us to contact corporate. In other words she didn't care and it's not her problem. My lobster ravioli came out cold. I asked her to wrap up the rest to take home. She forgot to bring the to go container back out then argued with me and opened up all of my to go containers as if I was lying. I found that to be very rude and disrespectful plus she didn't even apologize when she went in the back and found the container she forgot. The wedge salad is now a half wedge. The sides are no longer big enough to share. The drinks are still strong and the chocolate bundino dessert is still the best. Other than that they can keep the rest for those prices. I love how personalized Morton's makes your experience! It was my fiancée's birthday and he enjoyed every minute. He got the Cajun ribeye with the creamy spinach and I got the salmon with mashed potatoes. The ribeye was very tasty, just a little undercooked for his liking, but I typically enjoy a medium steak generally. My salmon was good, just a little lackluster on flavor, but nonetheless tender. We visited on Saturday for an early anniversary dinner and had an amazing experience. I love their customization touch at the top of their menus! They wrote "Happy anniversary Mike & Nicole" and it's a small detail but I think it goes a long way. I got a State St Manhattan cocktail to start and my husband got an Old Fashioned. Mine came with a caramelized filet chunk on top and it was unreal. The flavors somehow worked SO well together. We came in for their three course special, two people for $99. We started off with their freshly baked onion bun, which we could have had 10 of. We each got a Cesar salad and agreed that the dressing was the best part. It was so creamy and you could tell it was homemade. Next we each got a 6 oz filet and they were both cooked perfectly medium. The filet was mouthwatering. It was was seasoned so well with salt and pepper and each bite was so juicy. You don't need any type of steak sauce when you come here. For our seafood portion I got a lobster tail and my husband got the crab cake. They were so moist and served extra hot. The melted butter for my lobster tail easily made everything that much better. We paired our choices with sour cream garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed Brussels sprouts with bacon. Both were SO good and huge portions we ending up taking some home. DESSERT TIME. I didn't think we were going to be able to pack anymore in but the dessert choices were too amazing not to. We got TWO selections so I chose the Morton's legendary hot chocolate cake and it was out of this world. The hot chocolate sauce poured out of the cake when my fork touched it and I'd come back just for this dessert. My husband got the bread pudding and it was literally enough for four people. So I've been meaning to write a review on this place for a few weeks. My family and I ate here the last weekend of July and mannn was it a mediocre experience! The waiter was nice overall! Thanks genius I pointed that out to you, and you still said no we will get you the appetizer free of charge... That was just moderate the biggest issue was the cook of the steak... My wife and I both go the Wagyu and a 10 year old could have cooked it better... We both ordered medium rare, mine on the inside was medium rare but the outside crust was so charred you tasted nothing but the char!!! Why? Why would you do that to a Wagyu steak? But that still wasn't the biggest issue, my wife's steak was rare, not edible rare either it was bad... I can eat rare steak so I would have just switched her but it was so rare even I wouldn't touch it... They take it back, bring back the same steak and some how it looked the exact same, incredibly incredibly rare! So okay they take it back again, you know when you are at a "reputable" steakhouse you expect them to understand the worst thing you can do is keep going the same steak but that's what they did, and when they brought it back it was the most unevenly cooked, dried out steak I had ever seen.... The manager took it off the bill which was nice and the only reason they're getting 2 stars instead of 1! But you expect a certain type of service at Morton's, but I would stay away from this location, and stay away from their Wagyu!!! read more

The staff is extremely welcoming, from the greetings all the way down to the customized menu with our names printed at the top. For our meal, we went with their $99 special. I've been dining at Morton's for decades. I've always rated them as excellent. Today I ordered curbside carry out for pickup at 5:30 PM. I arrived at 5:30 and called to tell them I was there. I was told they would be right out. After 20, yes 20, minutes I called again. Who ever answered replied "No on told me you were here". The order was then brought out. I only live 8 minutes away. My order was lukewarm at best. I had never done curbside here before and it is unlikely I would do so again. Zero stars for pickup orders. read more

The service with my server was disappointing for a Landry's Select Member. I think the server I had could have had a better attitude.
