What a cute breakfast spot. Nice and clean. The service was awesome. Was greeted and seated quickly. Our servicer was sweet and patient. They give you a complementary coffee cake to start out with. The food here was good, quick and fresh. Thank you Mo's Egg House for your hospitality and tasty breakfast.
My husband and I came here for Valentine's Day brunch. There was about a 20-minute wait when we arrived, and it was pretty packed (but not overwhelming). The host gave us a really warm welcome, and because of the holiday we got a complimentary slice of cake -- honestly, that cake was delicious and a nice touch. The ambiance was cute, and the interior reminded me of Georgia. Our food came out in about 15-20 minutes, which was reasonable given how busy it was. As for the food itself... it was okay. I'd rate our meals a 6/10. Not bad, but not something I'm dying to come back for. Service and vibes were solid; the food just didn't wow me. Overall: nice spot for a chill brunch date, especially if you care about the atmosphere. The food was mid for the hype.
This place is small and has a simple, country-style interior. What really stood out was the complimentary coffee cake!! It was so moist and delicious. I just loved that it was free since you rarely get anything free at breakfast spots. The coffee was great and bottomless, which is always a plus. For breakfast I kept it simple with eggs, hash browns, and bacon. Nothing was mind-blowing- but neither was my choice in menu items lol it was solid and satisfying. Between the free coffee cake, great hot coffee, and very reasonable prices, I'll definitely be coming back. That coffee cake alone will keep me coming The service was very good as well! Everyone was friendly.
First time here and I can see why my parents love it so much! Complimentary coffee cake before ordering which was warm and had icing. We got the 2 egg combo and pancakes for the table. Coffee was delicious too! Service was busy but attentive and super nice. Inside had padded seating on the benches which was nice too.
Was able to try a lot of different dishes, but the country fried steak, the fried chicken and waffles, and the pancakes were surprisingly good. The service was very snappy and quick. We stopped by here before Coachella and Im super happy we did.
It's been over a year since the last time we have had breakfast here. It was one of our favorite places to eat as a family and for special occasions. This place is like an old fashion dinner it can accommodate small and large groups. It also has nice outdoor seating if you like the fresh air. In previous visits I would have given this place four stars. This visit was so different than previous visits. In the past service has always been excellent but this time not so much. Tried something new the Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes. The menu said they were layered with ricotta but the ones I received only had it drizzled on the top so it made them a little dry. My opinion is it should have been served with a side of berry syrups instead of the maple syrup. My husband ordered his regular the meat lovers omelet and he loved it.
I enjoyed this place the vibe was pretty cool like an old southern restaurant, the complimentary coffee cake was REALLY good. I had the seafood omelette and i got it because i wanted to try something new but honestly i didn't really like it now it didn't taste nasty like it was a pretty good omelette i just think personally the mix was a little weird the hash browns were really good though. My wife loved the country fried steak. The kids meal was the perfect amount of food for a little one. The servers here were really nice and thankfully patient with us seeing that we had our little ones with us. If you're looking for a brunch or breakfast spot on the fly check this place out.
MO's Egg House is incredible value for your money. Portions are big, service is friendly and the outdoor seating on a nice Cali day is what Sunday should feel like. This is not a haute cuisine place- but solid home style cooking and large portions. The coffee comes with complementary coffee cake. The food was good albeit a bit under seasoned for my palette. The place feels like an old school diner, our server Sadie was really friendly and attentive and overall the experience is true Americana.
Still good. New photos. Yummy stuff here. Come down and don't forget to ask for the coffee cake as a pre-meal. Love the music too, creates a great vibe.
It was New Year's Day, and we walked in just 30 minutes before closing at 1 PM (around 12:30 PM). Despite the timing, we were welcomed happily and graciously, which immediately set the tone. We placed our order, and before the food even came out, we were surprised with a complimentary coffee cake. I absolutely loved it--soft, flavorful, and such a thoughtful touch. It wasn't quite my husband's cup of tea, but the gesture itself spoke volumes. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was excellent. I loved the gravy, the chicken steak was flavorful, the biscuit was perfectly done, and the hash browns were bomb. Everything came together so well. My husband ordered the scrambled dish and loved it--so much so that he was already excited about enjoying the leftovers later. The service throughout was great: sincere, kind, and attentive. The restaurant is also very spacious, making it perfect for families. A wonderful way to start the New Year.
As always, Mo's Egg house is always a solid, reliable and all around best diner breakfast in Temecula. The staff is always top notch and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone in Temecula!
Had a wonderful breakfast this morning at Mo's. I had the Western Omelet and my wife had the two egg combo. Amanda was our fantastic server and brought us some complimentary coffee cake and each meal comes with a complimentary beverage. I had coffee and my wife had tea. The ambiance and vibe are positive and upbeat. This place seems to be popular with the locals. Highlyrecommended
Looking for a nice brunch spot while visiting in the neighborhood. I ordered the loco moco: the portion is small, only one beef patty and it was kind of bland. Wife's omelette is pretty good, eggs are soft and fluffy. Daughter's bacon and eggs is meh, the scrambled eggs are dry. The complimentary coffee cakes are decent.
Mo's egg house is always a good option when looking for a restaurant with good food options. I've tried a few of their menu selections and they have all been delectable. My usual go to has been the chilaquiles which come in red or green and is pretty filling. My most recent menu selection was the turkey melt. It was very good. The cheese and avocado made the sandwich melt in my mouth. The best thing about Mo's is that once you put in your order, the waiter/waitress will bring out a piece of coffee cake. It is perfect to eat while you wait for your food, especially if you ordered coffee or milk. The ambiance in here is very 'farm' like and it definitely goes with most of the items on the menu. They do close early, so make sure that you check them out for breakfast or an early lunch. read more

Was in town on Thursday for an appt, parked in Mo's lot accidentally. After I completed my appt, I decided to try out Mo's, as I was already here. Delicious! I had a large plate of eggs, homestyle potatoes, and cornbeef hash, with a decent side of pre-buttered sourdough toast. Had the piece of coffee cake that she brought as soon as I sat down for dessert. Price was 15.75, well worth it, and Linda the server was super nice and attentive. We came here in a Sunday. It was pretty busy but we got waited within 20 minutes. Pretty loud but of course it's Sunday brunch! They have this delicious bread / cake that they serve before your meal and 10/10 sooooo good! We also got momosas - I got the grapefruit one and it was not a good combo since you could taste the champagne lol. My friend got a pineapple momosas and it was so good. Otherwise for food we got traditional bacon and eggs + pancake and French toast. Overall basic and pretty delights. Servings were great! read more

I'm not really sure what all the hype is about here. I had to wait a long time, and the only thing I really loved is they gave you free coffee cake. My son irdered the chicken and sweet potato fries. The chicken was so dry. It just doesn't have any flavor. The fries were good, though. I got the chicken fried steak. That was also underwhelming. Was so flat, and the gravy was not the best. I enjoyed the fruit, however. I would say the food here is OK, but I gave this 3 stars bc the host taking names and calling people was so rude and not welcoming. This place was just so busy that I couldn't get that good old-fashioned breakfast diner. I'd rather eat at the honeypot farm. read more

What a wonderful diner! Stopped here for breakfast at the recommendation of a friend, and she did not steer me wrong! We arrived around 9 a.m. on a Friday morning and it was surprisingly popping, always a good sign! We were able to get seated right away but I bet there's a wait on the weekends... and it would be worth the wait for sure. I love the classic diner decor and vibes. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Surprised to be given a free piece of coffee cake -- apparently it's their thing! I got the California Benedict and it was delicious; I could drink that hollandaise! Definitely will return when I'm in Temecula or heading north of the 15! read more
Ok ... if you are in Temecula ... you must stop here for breakfast, brunch or lunch ! Don't be alarmed if there is a wait it frees up Fairly quickly & worth the wait! We started with a Bloody Mary - which was delicious & a great value ! Followed by the Egg, Mushroom Omelet, side of Onion rings. My husband ordered corned beef hash with 2 eggs over! Wow .... Everything was so delicious and our waitress & hostess were so kind, welcoming & efficient ! If you are looking for a local, delicious place to eat & drink a fine Bloody Mary .... The birthday weekend in the San Diego area continues. Oh what a gem!!! We stumbled upon this delightful restaurant and absolutely loved the food, the customer service and the overall experience! Came in on Valentine's Day to celebrate my sons birthday with a delicious breakfast. He got the chocolate chip pancakes, and I asked for some whipped cream to make it special for his birthday. The server (a young man with a bit curly hair) came back and quietly asked if he liked sprinkles too. Overall we enjoyed our time there and eggs Benedict were great. It did get a little loud towards 9:30/10, but overall it was great and we will come back. I found their prices really fair we well. read more

Stop scrolling looking for someplace to eat in Temecula. This is the place. Huge portions of food that taste amazing!! The value was on point also. The service was fast and the servers were so friendly!! This is a diner style restaurant with a really great atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door, you know you're in for a great experience. Oh, and the coffee was above average! Better than that over priced mermaid-star place down the street. Just go eat here...you won't be disappointed!!! read more

Busy! We were lucky enough to come at a great time before the rush and got seated right away. It was still a full house but service moved rather quickly. You can tell the staff all works together to help each other out when needed because the hostess and others came to our table throughout our time there to make sure we were good. We ordered the seafood omelet and the berry French toast and pancakes. The serving size was huge! Everything was delicious but we couldn't finish it all. Most of the time I don't bring home breakfast left overs but I was hopeful that the food would still taste good the next day after being warmed up and it was!!! I ate the rest of our leftovers and it still tasted great! The quality of the ingredients is appreciated and the cost wasn't too bad considering the portion sizes. read more
Decided to have breakfast here a Mo's Egg House. They offer counter seating, booths and outdoor seating was abundant. We were seated fast! They first offered us drinks immediately upon seating and coffee cake. The menu had a great variety of meals available. After we ordered, our coffee cups and other drinks were filled often. Then our food arrived! WOW!! I didn't expect so much food and quick too. Well you will not leave hungry. Oh don't forget to ask about the daily specials. Only drawback for some might be a little warm inside which explains the ceiling fans. read more

Jumping on a Friday morning! I am visiting family in the area and I asked "can you take me to the locals favorite breakfast spot" and sure enough we made it to Mos! I was pleasantly surprised how busy it was at 9:45am. Luckily we got to sit right away. We got free coffee cake - I would rate it 3/5. But I appreciate the thoughtfulness! I ordered Eggs Benedict , it was cooked perfect but the sauce was a bit bland. Everyone else had pancakes and eggs. NOTE the pancakes are thiccck not thin like ihop. So prepare to share or be extra full! The service was okay, took a while to get things, but it was clearly busy. The location itself was warm and old school diner friendly. I would definitely go again but it wasn't the best I've ever had. But i encourage everyone to go check it out! read more

Dear Suzanne K, who seems to be answering the 1 star reviews: my husband and I have been regulars at Mo's since you opened at least 14 years ago. Mo's has been our ONLY breakfast restaurant since then. And we've recommended you to others who were also happy with your food and service. With the many changes in management throughout the years, we never noticed much change until now. We've continued to visit since things first started to go downhill, but we won't be coming back. Obviously, there are far fewer customers in your restaurant now, so we're not the only ones who are turning away. It may not too late to turn things around, but no one seems to be listening. Your customers have voted. We asked our server today how to get our message to management. She just said they received comments from people earlier (when people first started leaving), and she would pass our comments along, but she said they're not listening. She agreed the food isn't what it used to be and raised the point that you can see from the empty tables that our opinion is shared. Even ypur employees are sad about the changes. Hope they don't find a need to work elsewhere if you continue to decline. I used to always get the seafood omelet, and my husband gets the enchilada omelet. Today, I switched to the lox Benedict because I was disappointed with the omelet the last few times. The taste wasn't there anymore. Prices have risen to about the highest a diner would be willing to pay for this type of family-style establishment. And the portions have shrunk significantly. Not only that, but the quality and taste of food has gone south. The small English muffin for my Benedict wasn't like any English muffin I ever tasted. It was crumbly. The egg yolk was like it should have been, but again, the size of the meal was smaller. The Hollandaise sauce was like you find in most restaurants, but one of the prior owners had sourced Hollandaise where the lemon could actually be tasted (I've made my own Hollandaise since my mother and I used to make it for broccoli). That was the best I ever found in a restaurant, but it didn't last long. The home style (O'brien) potatoes used to be perfect...cut fresh and fried to perfection. Not anymore. They are previously cut, overly salted, mushy, and oily in appearance (see photo). The sauce for the enchilada omelet was thinner than before, less generous--my husband asked for more--and he said "tasteless." It's disappointing to see an old favorite go by the wayside, especially when customers are participating and giving honest feedback on an attempt to have management rectify things. Temecula needs more good restaurants, not fewer. I guess there's no way to know if Mo's will revert back to its previously great quality. We hope someone will take note of what's happening and rectify the obvious issues before you have to close your doors! read more
Spent a girls getaway weekend in Temecula, and before we headed home, we really wanted a yummy traditional restaurant to have breakfast. Found this place on yelp, and we are so happy we did. Diego, who is our server was absolutely amazing in his service, super attentive, gave us each complementary coffee, cake, and was just, amazing. The place is a lot bigger than I thought, so that was really nice, because we were able to get right in. The booths were comfortable, the vibe was great, and most importantly my eggs Benedict was delicious. With a perfectly poached eggs!! read more

We found ourselves in Temecula looking for a brunch spot and saw this place had good ratings. I ordered a chicken fried steak, which was super tasty and we also got the hawaiian french toast, which was also good. We got free coffee cake as well in the beginning which was a nice surprise. The place gives diner vibes and can get very busy but there's also not really a wait regardless of it being a full house. We were in the area and wanted something for breakfast. There was somewhat of wait but after about fifteen minutes we got sat down. I ordered myself a burger with an egg on it(because breakfast). We also had some other plates. The burger itself want anything special, it wasn't bad and it wasn't good. I still wanted to give this restaurant a good review for service. Our orders were taken fast and the food came out in a decent time. I'm also open to trying something else on the menu given I return to this restaurant one day. read more
My friends and I were leaving Temecula and wanted a last minute breakfast so we came here. Plenty of parking in the lot. It was super busy and filled up quickly. We went about 10am. We only waited about 5 minutes, they're very efficient here. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming at this restaurant. Food review: -They give complementary coffee cake, which is cool! However, none of us ate it because it was extremely thick and dry. It also didn't have much flavor. -seafood scramble: lacked flavor, eggs had no seasoning. Breakfast potatoes were delicious. -plain side pancake: nothing special about it; very filling. -country scramble with biscuit: good portion, eggs were over cooked. The biscuit was warm and soft, but when you ate it was extremely dry with no flavor. It came with gravy, but the gravy tasted like chicken broth and didn't really have a good flavor. I put some jam and butter on it, which helped tremendously. It's a nice place to get a quick breakfast, but probably wouldn't come back here. read more
A classic diner near Old Town Temecula. Has Inside and patio seating. On this Saturday the place was doing a brisk business for breakfast. We were seated immediately. Service was prompt and the food delivery timely. Interesting wall art. My Swedish pancakes were tasty. More Lingonberry sauce would have been a plus. My wife and I were doing a road-trip to San Diego and decided to stop off and have breakfast in Temecula. We chose Mo's Egg House. First time eating at this establishment. The service was great...Diego was very friendly and helpful with the menu selection. The ambiance was quaint and cozy (Halloween themed decorations). We split the breakfast burrito that came with both red/green salsas and was given Complimentary coffee cake which went well with our iced coffees. If you're in the area, please consider trying Mo's Egg House...I promise you won't be disappointed. Side note, try the chunky garlic hot pepper sauce. Delicious! We purchased a bottle too! read more

I see why this place is rated 5 stars- they've got a great flow to their operations. Quick service, delicious food, seated right away on a Saturday morning around 9 for 2 people. We never waited or wanted for anything, someone was always nearby for a refill. They offer complimentary coffee cake which is a nice touch. I tried the breakfast croissant & western potato pancakes - both were a good portion, very filling, tasted yummy! Inside decor is like modern farmhouse. Separate gendered restrooms, private parking lot. No complInts here! read more

Everything at this place was awesome! The staff, the food, the cleanliness, and the cozy feeling and environment. They give our complimentary coffee cake to enjoy with our coffee while waited for our food!!!!! We felt so special. And the coffee cake slice IS GOOD! We had brunch: I had the Lox plate and my friend had the steak and eggs. I saw neighboring tables with awesome chicken & waffles, eggs Benedict and pancakes, etc. I AM going to be back to try out some of the other very yummy plates I saw others eating. It's definitively a family place. And the employees look happy to work there. They are attentive and genuinely happy to serve us. read more

If you want good service, this is the place to be. 15/10 for service because they just knew whatever you wanted and they were accommodating. Food was not to my liking because it lacked seasoning but it was cooked well. There's a lot of sides which was great. It is a quaint place to have a brunch with family or friends. read more

I’m sorry at this time we do not carry any gluten free options like that. You are welcome to sub out corn tortillas, fruit, cottage cheese, tomato slices, or avocado instead of bread though

Yes they do offer a discount for military. Also, I think this discount applies to law enforcement and firefighters too!

Yes! We had breakfast there a couple weeks ago, and the kids at the table behind us had a birthday song sang to them. It was quite enthusiastic :) those kids had the biggest smiles on their faces! Great Job Mo's!
Does Mo's celebrate birthdays?
I don't know for sure but they are so friendly and accommodating that it wouldn't hurt to ask!
