Mo's egg house is always a good option when looking for a restaurant with good food options. I've tried a few of their menu selections and they have all been delectable. My usual go to has been the chilaquiles which come in red or green and is pretty filling. My most recent menu selection was the turkey melt. It was very good. The cheese and avocado made the sandwich melt in my mouth. The best thing about Mo's is that once you put in your order, the waiter/waitress will bring out a piece of coffee cake. It is perfect to eat while you wait for your food, especially if you ordered coffee or milk. The ambiance in here is very 'farm' like and it definitely goes with most of the items on the menu. Was in town on Thursday for an appt, parked in Mo's lot accidentally. After I completed my appt, I decided to try out Mo's, as I was already here. Delicious! I had a large plate of eggs, homestyle potatoes, and cornbeef hash, with a decent side of pre-buttered sourdough toast. Had the piece of coffee cake that she brought as soon as I sat down for dessert. Price was 15.75, well worth it, and Linda the server was super nice and attentive. Sad to know Moe's was sold and has gone down. Came with my husband for brunch and ordered the blueberry pancakes and asked for the ricotta to be cooked inside the pancake instead of on placed on top. The waitress and I'm assuming the manager told me they have never done that before. I replied that I've been coming to Moe's for 14 years and have always ordered it that way. The manager told me they will not do that and if I wanted to order something else. The food came out and I seen why they can't put the ricotta or fruit in the pancakes. The original owners pancakes were thick and fluffy, these pancakes now are very thin and the prices are way higher. Also you have to add a combo to the pancakes if you want eggs and meat. We came here in a Sunday. It was pretty busy but we got waited within 20 minutes. Pretty loud but of course it's Sunday brunch! They have this delicious bread / cake that they serve before your meal and 10/10 sooooo good! We also got momosas - I got the grapefruit one and it was not a good combo since you could taste the champagne lol. My friend got a pineapple momosas and it was so good. The complimentary coffee cake is very good. As for the meals, the portion sizes are not big enough for the price. And the food was just ok, nothing "extra". The service is spotty so some servers are slow and forgetful (Jules) while others are great (Ginger). I'm sure Mo's is just trying to make a profit while trying to do business in this state, it's hard to do. But honestly in this case - it's the service that'll make it worthwhile. I could've sworn I reviewed this restaurant??!! Well I am now. Long overdue, this was by far one of my best breakfast/brunch like experiences. They don't cut corners whatsoever! You get a lot of variety and choices. Huge breakfast plates. It can get crowded but the service was moving forward while we were there. It looks small but it's very accommodating, clean, organized and nice clean bathrooms. Parking gets full but you might have to park a little far as it's in a busy shopping center that has a vehicle repair shop, small business services, lots of eateries, bowling alley, Salvation Army thrift store etc, so keep that in mind and try to go earlier or enough time before they close which is early. read more

I'm not really sure what all the hype is about here. I had to wait a long time, and the only thing I really loved is they gave you free coffee cake. My son irdered the chicken and sweet potato fries. The chicken was so dry. It just doesn't have any flavor. The fries were good, though. I got the chicken fried steak. That was also underwhelming. Was so flat, and the gravy was not the best. I enjoyed the fruit, however. I would say the food here is OK, but I gave this 3 stars bc the host taking names and calling people was so rude and not welcoming. What a wonderful diner! Stopped here for breakfast at the recommendation of a friend, and she did not steer me wrong! We arrived around 9 a.m. on a Friday morning and it was surprisingly popping, always a good sign! We were able to get seated right away but I bet there's a wait on the weekends... and it would be worth the wait for sure. I love the classic diner decor and vibes. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Surprised to be given a free piece of coffee cake -- apparently it's their thing! Came in on Valentine's Day to celebrate my sons birthday with a delicious breakfast. He got the chocolate chip pancakes, and I asked for some whipped cream to make it special for his birthday. The server (a young man with a bit curly hair) came back and quietly asked if he liked sprinkles too. Overall we enjoyed our time there and eggs Benedict were great. Dear Suzanne K, who seems to be answering the 1 star reviews: my husband and I have been regulars at Mo's since you opened at least 14 years ago. Mo's has been our ONLY breakfast restaurant since then. And we've recommended you to others who were also happy with your food and service. With the many changes in management throughout the years, we never noticed much change until now. We've continued to visit since things first started to go downhill, but we won't be coming back. Obviously, there are far fewer customers in your restaurant now, so we're not the only ones who are turning away. It may not too late to turn things around, but no one seems to be listening. Your customers have voted. We asked our server today how to get our message to management. She just said they received comments from people earlier (when people first started leaving), and she would pass our comments along, but she said they're not listening. She agreed the food isn't what it used to be and raised the point that you can see from the empty tables that our opinion is shared. Even ypur employees are sad about the changes. Hope they don't find a need to work elsewhere if you continue to decline. I used to always get the seafood omelet, and my husband gets the enchilada omelet. Today, I switched to the lox Benedict because I was disappointed with the omelet the last few times. The taste wasn't there anymore. Prices have risen to about the highest a diner would be willing to pay for this type of family-style establishment. And the portions have shrunk significantly. Not only that, but the quality and taste of food has gone south. The small English muffin for my Benedict wasn't like any English muffin I ever tasted. It was crumbly. The egg yolk was like it should have been, but again, the size of the meal was smaller. The Hollandaise sauce was like you find in most restaurants, but one of the prior owners had sourced Hollandaise where the lemon could actually be tasted (I've made my own Hollandaise since my mother and I used to make it for broccoli). That was the best I ever found in a restaurant, but it didn't last long. The home style (O'brien) potatoes used to be perfect...cut fresh and fried to perfection. Not anymore. They are previously cut, overly salted, mushy, and oily in appearance (see photo). The sauce for the enchilada omelet was thinner than before, less generous--my husband asked for more--and he said "tasteless." It's disappointing to see an old favorite go by the wayside, especially when customers are participating and giving honest feedback on an attempt to have management rectify things. Temecula needs more good restaurants, not fewer. I guess there's no way to know if Mo's will revert back to its previously great quality. We hope someone will take note of what's happening and rectify the obvious issues before you have to close your doors! read more

Busy! We were lucky enough to come at a great time before the rush and got seated right away. It was still a full house but service moved rather quickly. You can tell the staff all works together to help each other out when needed because the hostess and others came to our table throughout our time there to make sure we were good.
