I spent $22 on a sad pizza that was almost thin crust and slices for toddlers. I don't shop here often, but when I do, I'm reminded why I don't. Porkys down the street will dial you in an XL for the same price. Lamppost will set you up with more for the same price point. My wife and I frequent this location during buffet hours. We always come during buffet hours and the ONLY time to come is when Elysium is working (we ended up asking for her name since we loved her service so much) Any other time we've come and she isn't there, the salad bar is not great, but when she IS there, everything is PRISTINE. Pizza is pizza and is always good, but she makes sure the kitchen is on top of putting out new pizzas when they are running low on the buffet. I have been going to Mountain Mike's since the day they opened several years ago. Still the same owners but boy have they lessened the quality and quantity of their pizza. Not to mention the crazy cost. They have always advertised BIG on how many slices of pepperoni are on their pizzas. Even a poster is on their window front stating "over 100 pieces of pepperoni on a large pizza". Which is a 14" pizza of 14 slices. So...I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, which is a 12" pizza of 12 slices. So wouldn't you think it should have at least close to the amount of pepperoni as the large??? Ok maybe not as much but 24 !!! And it cost $28 . If you're going to advertise a pizza to look like this you should make it the way it shows and the way you advertise it. read more

When the order came, with a missing cheese pizza I called back and asked where it was. I let her know it happens but I need my pizza, she then decided to challenge me and blame me for not ordering it. The manager came on and said the same thing. He didn't apologize nor offer any help with the pizza. All they had to do was apologize for missing it, maybe offer to take care of the cheese pizza, and I would have continued to support this business. I like pizza a lot and there is no shortage of pizza places in Corona. Mountain Mike's is a nice local place that provides fast service and tasty pizza. They are certainly convenient. If you're looking for delivery you can order through their app, Yelp, Grubhub or you can just call them. They consistently beat their delivery times. The quote is usually between 45 and 55 minuets the actual delivery time is often right around 35 minutes. The pizza always arrives hot with a very friendly driver. The kind of driver you feel good about tipping heavily. The order is always correct. The pizza, salad, sides or whatever are delivered accurately. My personal belief is that salad is a delivery device for dressing which is my way saying I like lots of dressing on my salad. Mountain Mike's gets it. I ask for extra dressing for my salad and I get enough that I could become a distributor. The pizza is good. I really like their sauce it's got a little zip to it. The ingredients are always fresh. I like artichoke hearts on my pizza and they always come out cooked but still soft and succulent not at all over done. My only criticism of the pizza would be that sometimes it seems a little overcooked. I'm more talking about the dough and crust. I like mine on the softer side. Mountain Mike's tends to be a bit crispy for my taste. I know there are those out there who prefer crispy and this is defiantly enjoy this pizza. I came here on a Sunday to pick up a large Mt. Everest and a four pack of soda for lunch. I placed the order via phone and the gentleman who helped was very friendly. I asked if he would accommodate my pick up time a little bit later and he happily obliged. 30 minutes later I arrived at the restaurant. The same gentleman who took my order also makes deliveries, helps with in-restaurant customers and with take-out orders. My large pizza was ready and I picked out my four Pepsi drink products. The restaurant and employees are all prepped for COVID-19. Employees are wearing mask, there's a huge bottle of hand sanitizer at the counter and there are no tables for indoor dining. The process from start to finish with seamless and I was very happy with the pizza! I definitely recommend, I certainly will return and I really appreciate the customer service that I received today. We use to love going to their lunch buffet during the week before COVID hit us. I had cravings for pizza so I thought we could try them out . We ordered a large with half Snowy Alps and The McKinley. The Large has 14 slices but they are really slivers and not a full size slice. It can feed two hungry adults. I also wanted to try their mozzarella sticks which was a disappointment. The cheese inside was hard and there was no flavor. The marinara sauce is thick and chunky. The pizza was full of veggie toppings and there wasn't much meat on there so that was a bit dissatisfying. The sauce on the Snowy Alps is my favorite with a nice garlicky flavor. The McKinley was not as good as I remembered from our buffet days so not sure we will order that again. The portion size is good but they did raised their prices and we ended up paying about $36 for a large specialty pizza and a side. Overall, their pizza is good and we want them to stay in business so we will return again to try something different. read more

Just got done grocery shopping at Sprouts next door with my 6 old and 7 year old. My 7 year, says " Dad can we have pizza please? I'm so hungry.." they train jiujitsu so after practice they get real hungry, so I was like why not. Since I'm ordering at the restaurant it should be quick. We order 1 medium pepperoni heart shaped pizza. It was about 7:30 when I placed the order with a young man and all was well. My kids played some games for a little while and after they were done, we decided to sit down and wait. Mind you I'm a very patient individual and I been in the restaurant business my whole life so I have a very understanding of people that work a 9-5. About a half hr after I put my order in, a young customer walks in and places an order and gives the cashier a "homie" handshake. Obviously they were friends with each other. 15 mins later, the cashier walks out with a pizza and I'm thinking it's my order, I get out of my seat only to see him hand the pizza to his friend. They shake hands again exchange some words near the door and walks out. Im thinking like damn, okay that's weird. My kids are hungry, thirsty, tired and I'm pissed off now! Like I said I'm a patient person, but after an hour of waiting I walked up to register hot. I asked him , "Bro I've waited an hour! Where's my pizza??? He replied, " oh what's your name? I told him my name, he walks to the back ands hands me a cold ass pizza that been sitting there for who knows how long...‍ " sorry man" was all I got and a cold pizza. I honestly want to put him on his back and armbar him, but being a God loving man the good Lord held me back. I should of just had them deliver it! The acidity is way to high and the sauce was chunky and dry the pepperoni tasted old or has a unique non appetizing flavor. My kids eat pretty much any pizza and they didn't even eat it with the exception of the cheese. I had to throw away 5 slices.
