More like 3.5 stars. The restaurant is a chain as I found out. I thought it was a Tucson only place. Oh well, for chain pizza it wasn't bad. I got the Pikes Peak pizza to go and a Dragoon IPA to drink local. The staff wasn't too familiar with their beers which is fine for a new employee, but when another person came to help, I guess there isn't a button for the and they thought I ordered a beer not on the menu. I told them which tap it was and what it was next to. The place seems family friendly.

Ok... 3.9 stars for MM Pizza??? Really?? I did an order on "Too Good To Go" app. (Discounted prices on food for a mystery bag!) I did 2 orders. $5.99 ea plus tax. I picked up the order which was 2 small pizza boxes. I get home and open the boxes. Both boxes contain pepperoni slices haphazardly placed in the box! One contained 5 slices, the other 7! Fairly disappointing "value" compared to other orders I have placed on the app. So I go onto MM's website and check their pricing. $16.99 for a SMALL pepperoni pizza!! To me, that's insane!! Apparently money comes MUCH easier to many others rating this business. The taste was OK but NOTHING to warrant this price point and I definately wouldn't recommend to anyone.

2 words. Excellent experience. Brendan's clearly an employee who cares and does his job well and has excellent customer service skills. The food was perfect, tasty, not too much crust, nice & fluffy pizza "Pizza the way it ought to be" is a befitting motto for this place. The restaurant itself was well lit, cozy and plenty of tvs with sports on. Hell yeah.

    So cute and delicious

Heart shaped pizza for the special occasion. Awesome and easy gift...but you need to include a bottle of whiskey from the store next door (TW&M) and ladies you're all set for your man on Valentine's Day! This establishment has a great happy hour as well with 2$ bottled beers on Fridays!!! The pizza was delicious too.

Very first time and it was AMAZING!! Great service. GREAT FOOD. Staff is 100% friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is great. Would HIGHY recommend this place!!!

Very nicely made pizza with generous toppings. High quality toppings cover the nicely spiced sauce. The crust is a little thicker than a normal hand tossed, but the dough was still light and airy; It was also docked and oiled before cooking which ensured the whole pizza had a crisp crust. The cupping pepperonis topped off this pizza with a little crunch on top as well as bottom. I got mine delivered and it was prepared quickly and sent with tamper evident safety seal on the pizza box. Value delivered!

This is my second time at this location and unfortunately it seems like the restaurant is poorly managed. The staff seemed to be very backed up with orders and making mistakes with multiple orders. Our first time here we waited 50 minutes for a take out order. Our second time was better but still a 30 minute wait. The manager however seemed very helpful and sincerely sorry. Might just be that this location is going through growing pains. The environment gives off a sport bar vibe. There's tvs with sports playing, beer on tap, and country music playing. The food is okay but not outstanding.

Have ordered for delivery here before and they just don't even notify you if you are getting delivered to a business. Had an employee look outside the window because yelp advised me it was delivered and the delivery driver literally left the pizza on an electrical box. In office we have a security desk where you can leave it but a quick "hey im downstairs" would suffice. Help me out here. What was the driver thinking?!

If anyone remembers how good Round Table Pizza was, this is the next best thing! The personal size pizza is a fairly good deal for lunch!

The service was great! Super friendly people The pizza was massive, family of 4 (3/4 boys) and we took home a few slices!! Located right near the mall and super convenient for us to get away from the crowd!

The estimated wait for two was 10 minutes so we grabbed drinks and headed upstairs to their cute/loft lounge. As we passed the entrance we already heard the host increasing wait time to 20 minutes. For drinks she had got the house red cabernet and for me the bartender and I whipped up a little custom cocktail (see pic). Moments later our table was ready. Note: Penelope operates on a novel "community-waiter" system so don't be confused if a totally different person comes by to: take appetizers, check on you, order entrees, check on you again, and order dessert! We've often had four different staff during a meal here and all are super friendly with experience-filled opinions about everything on the menu. We ordered the Burrata and Tomatoes app which arrived in barely 5 minutes - the cheese is traditionally mozzarella-like but here it was almost ricotta-soft... and melded deliciously with the mildly acidic slices of ripe tomato and lots of pistachio pesto (nice twist chef!). We split the Sgt Pepper pizza this time, craving both sausage and roasted chilis. It arrived in 15 minutes with ample sausage and just a few burnt bubbles (totally ok because we know these thin-crusts must be flash broiled at super high temps (around 1k degrees). We demolished the 'za but both of us would like to have seen a bit more green chili. We were looking forward to the olive oil cake however, at 7pm, they had just sold the last slice (confirmed by our "second dessert waiter" who wandered by a few minutes later ;) Atmosphere is casual-elevated and sound levels aren't bad despite the density of tables - likely due to the 20 foot tall ceilings. Parking is free/easy in their private lot and it appears they do a popular takeout business too. We are both looking forward to their return to downtown this fall with Penelope's II !

We were seated right away since it wasn't busy, and things started off simple enough with bread and oil. We asked for parmesan to go with it, and our server seemed unsure how to respond, eventually bringing out packet parm even though fresh was clearly available. Not a huge deal, but we found it odd. A little later, we asked for more bread. The server told us they were out but, "that they could probably make more". . He relayed it to the woman handling bread, who then made more for another table and skipped us entirely. He mentioned it again to her when he saw us looking in their direction. she looked over, and still nothing. It was awkward, since the restaurant is the size of a closet. Once the pizza came, we got up ourselves to ask for more oil and parmesan, since our waiter hadn't come to check back. We got the oil instantly since we brought us the bowl, but no parmesan. At one point my son asked for bread, again, finally it came and the server literally tossed it on the table without a word. We said thank you and he completely ignored all of us. It didn't get any better from there. The bill was dropped on the table without a word either. My husband and I kept looking at each other with confused looks. We turned the bill in with our CC, and once the server returned it, same thing, not a single interaction. We also watched the same server make another table feel like an inconvenience over something as simple as asking for a bottle of Coke instead of a can. The customer ended up backing down just to avoid the hassle. The server then told the guest, "it's fine, I can get it for you!" On top of that, staff were wearing gloves while handling food, but also touching chairs, phones, and other surfaces; kind of defeats the purpose I think? My boys also had a weird interaction with a staff near the bathrooms who was very rude to them and accused them of cutting the line, despite no one waiting. It was very strange. Bottom line: the food is incredible, no question. But the service was so bad it's hard to ignore. Best advice, get it to go and skip the experience inside.

We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. For the pizza, we ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

Food arrived just 15 min later and was piping hot and delicious. The lasagna is a good sized portion (roughly 5x7) and is generously filled with meat. Roughly 2 dozen toppings are available, ranging from $3-$8+. I opted for the meatballs ($8.50) and was slightly disappointed. The meatballs are crumbled within the calzone (understandable) but not pronounced in quantity. We were catching a play at the Rogue and sought something within walking distance, hello Anello! With their rotating, locally-sourced menu, we ordered what was new: seasonal roasted veggies ($11) - incredible; coupled with our fav Verde pizza ($17) + pepperoni ($4). And two Old Fashionables ($13) - strong, delicious, and not too sweet. We split their one-size pizza (roughly 12" medium) in order to save room for their famous, rotating desserts. Their 'zas are super thin crust and really need to be eaten straight from the oven so that the bottom never has a chance to get soggy. We were torn between the olive oil cake and the blue corn lemon tart... so we got both! ($9 each). An excellent call as we carefully paced our way through, one slow bite at a time. Service was outstanding and we never felt rushed.
