My favorite is the Lomo Saltado beef or chicken - savory, tangy, and goes really well with their homemade habanero sauce (if you like it spicy). But honestly, everything is incredibly tasty here. Sandwiches, plates, rotating specials - you really can't go wrong. I also appreciate that they allow me modify my order to make it low carb! Service is great. Floor staff delivers your food to your table, always check in on how your meal is, and clean/turnover tables pretty quickly. I ordered their "must have" pork belly sandwich for $19 and a drink for $3. The sandwich was rather small, the bread crust was too strong. Ingredients were fresh but didn't shine together. I've been here a couple of times throughout the years and it has been a little hit and miss for me which always makes me second guess coming. The ingredients are always super fresh and the staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. The last time I went I got the veggie sandwich. I am reviewing Mouthful Eatery again after many years (I think 10 years). This place has been a Yelp favorite in the past and has remained so consistent over the years. They have expanded so much (most people probably don't remember how small they were), and Thousand Oaks Boulevard has evolved (though not enough). They have added a dinner menu, evening events, and really become a local favorite. But really, they still excel as a top-notch lunch joint. The interior decor is fun and inviting, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. The service is great, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. You might even run into Chef Luis Sanchez, which is always a treat. It is pretty hard to select from all their great choices, but I have started going for the bowls. This week, I went for the La Sarita. I am often conflicted between this and the Crispy Pork, and it did not disappoint. This is truly a gem, and I am told their holiday catering is also something special. Anyone in Thousand Oaks at lunchtime should eat here. read more

Place was packed on some sort of trivia night with a long line out the door, thought there was no way I was going to get them on a good day with attentive service but boy was I wrong! I couldn't design between the flan or the cookies so I got those and did not regret it at all. I got the salad and added guacamole, and it was very nourishing I got the side and didn't exactly love it . I'm not sure if it was the spices or the specific fruit they used, but I'm sure that it fits someone else's tastebuds. It was the most tender and moist turkey ever with a drizzle of siracha aioli on marinated radishes and avocado and mixed greens. My LO had the Little Piggy, which was an incredibly tender pork sandwich with crunchy onions and a thin sliced of roasted sweet potato. So happy we decided to try this place before our show at the theatre! Great service!!!! From the guy taking our order at the front to the people wondering around the restaurant. I really wish I got this one guys name cleaning our table and bringing us all the sauces he was so kind and helpful! The restaurant is decently sized with an outdoor area too.
