I ordered 4lbs of shrimp and crawfish and some cajun fries. I must admit for a seafood restaurant that is located in the desert, this restaurant had really fresh food. The flavoring was delicious and the spiciness had me sweating. The service was great and it was interesting to see food served by a robot. The kids definitely got a kick out of it. As I talked to the cashier, I found out that this is a family-owned establishment, which I'd prefer to support. There are not many crawfish or seafood places near Palm Springs so I'd definitely recommend this to any seafood lovers or anyone that would like to try out cajun food. read more

This is truely a gem in desert. Who know you can find a GREAT cajun style claw fish restaurant in Palm Sping area. I am a BIG fan of "Boiling Crab" in Southern California and this is as good as that in a different flavor. Boiling eggs were a great touch. I am glad we found this place it was very tasty and the staff was super friendly. The only reason that I didn't give this place 5'S is due to the clams being a little sandy but other than that the food was great! I am so happy we finally have a seafood boil restaurant out here and it is beyond delicious! We went around 4ish pm and it wasn't busy, but when we were leaving after 5 they started to get busier. The service was great, our server answered every question and made recommendations. We had several employees visit the table including the chef and I believe the owner. I highly recommend this place. I'm so happy I don't have to drive out of town for this anymore! Try the house seasoning it's really good! read more

Finally some good cajun seafood in the desert. Don't have to drive to Orange County (boiling crab, kickin' crab) and wait in line for an hour. They also have a robot that brings your food . The food is great the service is all right there's a new girl in particular her name is Stephanie she's very young on her twenties she did something horrible to us it was not going good with her in the beginning so I already decided that I was not going to tip her but guess what she did she tip herself and she took herself $20 and when I noticed that and when I was walking away and almost at my car and I saw tip for $20 and I went back and I told her why is there a tip of $20 if I didn't tip you she didn't know what to say and I was angry and I told her is the tip demand to tip you because I always tip and cash she say.. no then why does it say right there that I tip you $20 when I didn't the manager was called they fixed it ... how it happened when she told me that amount was going to be 140 something dollars I was in my head thinking damn that's a lot of money when usually is like 80 or $100 for the two son it depends if you had something else like we did but when she gave us the mission to swipe our card she goes do you want your receipt do you want to print in and we press print we did not see nothing that 20% 5% or whatever percent International nothing like that and my boyfriend just pressed for print for the receipt and that's when she gave us a receipt and you know the rest so just be careful hopefully she learned from that or she gets fired I wish I could post the receipt but I don't know how to do it right here I don't think you can post pictures on Yelp it's my first time doing this review on here read more

I've been to a lot of seafood boil places and I just visited this place today. I have to admit it's definitely one the best places I've ever been to. The food tasted amazing, it was fresh, and the staff was extremely professional and very attentive. The place was also nice looking and clean. You won't regret coming here. I plan to stop by this place every time I'm in town. I might even stop by tomorrow with a bunch of my friends. This place has definitely earned a returning customer!!! read more

Mr. Claws, was not Very good at ALL! 2 pounds of Shrimp that tasted like they were previously frozen along with a Sweet Spicy sauce. The Garlic noodles lacked garlic and Salt, The team forgot to include (paid for) sausage along with creamy Rice $85.00 later The disappointment was real. read more

Food good but c'non guys you can throw in more corn and potatoes, that costs nothing. Overpriced, small portions and no ambience. A robot brings your food(cool) but you stare at it until a server comes over and removes food from robot. It took 3 minutes for a server to do that for us so really not helpful. 350 for 6 people so very expensive. No alcohol and bread is like 9 bucks a loaf. Too steep for me read more

Great experience. My wife and I are staying in the area and we had a mean craving for bags of shrimp and Cajun sides. We stopped by for lunch and the food really hit. The service was also stellar. Our server was helpful and very courteous. The staff overall was great. Very welcoming place that serves up some delicious eats. We will definitely come back next time we are around. A+++. read more

I give Mr Claws 2 thumbs up, for being good food and great service. Our Server Nev was super efficent and friendly, and everyone else smiled and was pleasant, even their little Robot "Bella" that delivered our food. We had the Fish and Chips that was only 13 dollars and very good. We will try one of their boils next time. It is a quaint, small, ohhh and the drinks at Happy Hour were great and very affordable. I had a Sapporo beer on tap for 4 bucks my wife had wine for 4 also. My only sad comment is that when this place becomes discovered it is going to be hard to get in. read more

I always get the 1 pound shrimp with sausage, potato, corn on cob and special sauce and it really is enough for two unless you are super hungry! You get a bib and gloves if you need. The boil in a bag is simply outstanding. The most important thing when it comes to this type food is the sauce. Mr Claws sauce medium is just scrumptious. That being said next to sauce is the items that go into the boiled bag. I met the owner -- Mon -- and we indicated that he personally picks out the seafood. Well guess what he is talented, whereas the shrimp was fresh and very tasty as was the clams. The crawfish comes from Louisiana when they are in season which is also a plus. Mon said he expects crawfish will be fresh coming from Louisiana late April. Another thing that caught my attention is the sausage. I'm particular about sausage and once again Mr Claw has an excellent sausage. Mr Claw uses a robot and Mon's daughter -- Mattie -- was there to help offload the food. She is a very cute and personable 9 year old. Sooo Mr Claw has standards and using a robot is innovative and high tech. In my opinion Mr Claws is as good as it gets when it comes to seafood boil in a bag. read more

Fast, friendly and fun service with the kitty robot and helpful server. We are always on the lookout for a great seafood boil and Mr. Claw did not disappoint! The air conditioning could have worked better, but we came near opening for lunch. We had the shrimp boil and added the king crab, sausage and potato. We opted for the hot and it was perfect!
