Stopped in for dinner, I wish they advertised they started serving dinner more. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and knew the menu. It definitely did not feel like day 2. What can i say. This is THE place to go for breakfast and brunch in Mukilteo. Everything on the menu is fantastic. My go to dish is the full order of the corn beef hash. It comes with a biscuit and gravy and eggs. I place half the order in a box and have that for lunch because the portion is so huge. The eggs, usually have mine scrambled, are so soft and fluffy. The hash is fluffy and crisp at the same time. Their bacon is phenomenal. Nice and thick cut and cooked to perfection. My family loves the bacon extra crispy and they aim to please. The cinnamon rolls, if you even have room to eat one after your meal, is bigger than your head. If you split it with a few folks it is quite the nice treat after a tasty and meal. Saturday morning date with my best friend (and wife of 43 years) and a traditional breakfast would fit the bill. This cozy old school strip mall cafe has always been here, always busy, is consistent with their quality food and excellent service. She had her usual corned beef hash and I enjoyed the Kielbasa sausage and fried eggs over easy. The sausage was cut and carved in a delightful fancy presentation that made it decorate the plate rather than just sit there next to that mountain of tasty hash browns with diced onions. Cheese is also offered as an additional topping however I always opted out of dairy. I stirred those perfectly cooked eggs into the mix, added tabasco and enjoyed a delicious, (and filling) meal that popped with delightful flavors! This is such a cute place and the food has that high quality classic "diner" taste. Everything is always fresh and the portions are generous. The service is great and the staff are always friendly, even when it gets busy. Like any restaurant, things sometimes take longer when it's very busy, but they keep your coffee full so it's worth it. I love their omelets, so fluffy and packed with fillings. You can get any omelet as a scramble as well. The sandwiches are always picture perfect with the right ratio or toppings, and the salads have great crunchy lettuce that you can tell has been cut that day (not out of a bag). This has been our go-to brunch place for a while now. Great portions and great quality of food and service. Absolutely love their seasoned sidewinder fries and the pancakes just melt in your mouth. They do have a chain of restaurants around the city so that's great! Lots of breakfast/ brunch and lunch options on the menu. It does get pretty crowded most of the time so it's a good idea to make a reservation or get on the waitlist online to beat the rush.if you are good comfort food, give this place a try read more

So I was craving pancakes at noon time and wanted to try something new around the area. Saw the reviews on this place and honestly this place was hands down the only place that I could get a decent meal from, I ordered pancakes and my husband ordered the Cuban Sandwich. The plates were a good amount and the food was AMAZING!! The pancakes were fluffy and buttery and the bread on the Cuban sandwich wasn't hard or crispy but just right to bite in without crumbs falling everywhere. The wait wasn't too bad but may depend on the day me and my husband went on a Friday. The waitress was kind and friendly. Hands down the best spot to eat. read more

With a ferry-boat theme, one could expect a greasy spoon kitschy diner with lackluster American food, but that is not what I encountered! The details were all spot on - the freezer jam for my wheat toast with chewy texture, fresh veggies in my half sized omelette, the coffee that was hot and rich. So I'm guessing these guys own every cafe around. Service was great we came in at like 2:30 and they close at 3 but no one rushed us. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy, the huevos rancheros are some of the most authentic I have seen in the area. My daughters loved the M&M's pancakes and chicken strips. I had a craving for my favorite sandwich - the Monte Cristo. If you are a fan of this sandwich and want the real thing - fried on all sides - then this is the place to come. It isn't a huge sandwich, but when you consider there are three layers to this tasty morsel, it really is much bigger than it looks. The batter is wonderful, the bread is oh so tender, the meat is so flavorful, and the cheese makes it so amazing. But, no Monte Cristo is complete without the jam - they have wonderful strawberry preserves that make the whole treat a dream come true. This is served with the most amazing crinkle cut fries. Oh yes, and can we talk about the coffee? It is yummy, and they give you a nice little dish of flavored creamers to add to the tastiness. The service is amazing, the wait staff all are so very friendly and accommodating. We never have to wait for coffee or water refills, and they are very proactive. I do agree about the prices - but, I think you get great food for the price. But, before I end this, I have to talk about the wonderful baked goods - or, in this case - baked good. When you walk into the place you are greeted with wonderful pies in the bakery case, but the thing that is most striking are the cinnamon rolls. They are as big as a human adult head. We have been on a hunt for an amazing cinnamon roll, and we think we found it. It is gooey, doughy and cinnamony with wonderful icing. It was big enough to split between the two of us, and could probably even go further. But it is so incredibly tasty that we wanted to eat it all. In conclusion, I say bring your family, your friends and your appetite and know you are going to get some amazing food, wonderful service and an overall great experience. read more
