Decided to give this place a try after a few of my vegetarian friends recommended it for its healthy food and I think I've found an absolute gem! I am personally not vegetarian or vegan and was shocked by how well they were able to recreate both the textures and flavors of meat in their vegan dishes. My Vegan is located in a small plaza with its own parking lot so it is relatively easy to access in a city where most of the parking is paid parking. The inside was clean and the employees were kind and attentive. I ordered: Angry Pork (5/5): So so delicious! They were out of their "pork" due to supply chain issues but were kind enough to substitute this dish with their "beef"; the "beef" truly was a good replica of meat as it didn't taste artificial. Their sriracha sauce was very light and tangy with a slight hint of spice that I would really not consider to be spicy. The vegetables in this dish were also so well seasoned and the crunchy garlic pieces really elevated the dish. Overall, pretty fair prices for excellent vegan food! read more

I veered from my usual order last time and got the mushroom coconut soup noodle dish and it was also delicious. So glad I'm just down the street from this place so I can get flavorful Asian noodle soup without meat broth. Waitstaff is always friendly. Delicious. Just finished a UberEats order. It came STEAMING HOT! I meant to take a photo but I seriously inhaled it as soon as it arrived! I usually have to reheat delivery orders but this was fresh and hot! Delicious. I had a mixed vegetables stir fry. It was seriously the best stir-fry. Well flavored ano spiced. WOWWW. Best vegan dishes in the vicinity. You cannot tell there are no animal products in these: -My Vegan Pad Thai Signature $13, giant dish great for sharing except you probably shouldn't. So tasty and so full of flavor, comes with tofu (add $ for other proteins) and the eggplant was just perfect. Insane. -Yellow Curry was top notch as well $11. With rice, the curry was not heavy nor light. Coconutty, well spiced drowning potatoes and blocks of tofu. -Also got one vegan egg roll just to try it. This tiny, vegan Thai restaurant located within an unassuming strip mall is definitely one of the better tasting vegan Thai restaurants I've been to in a long time. The tastes were very comparable to regular Thai food so bravo to getting the flavor profile on point. Perhaps it was a good sign that everyone that worked there spoke Thai so it is seemingly a family-owned business. The only oddity here is the restroom is located in the back so you will need to walk through he small kitchen to get to it. My fiancé and I shared the following dishes and can't wait to come back and go through their menu. - Mung bean noodle salad: 5/5; limey, tasty, and refreshingly light on a hot summer day. Really affordable, Thai vegan food! Usually vegan places overcharge but this place is a great deal and the portions are very large. The combo special is $12 and includes your choice of entree - the green curry was a great flavor but I would ask for spicier if you like spicy food over a "mild" level. The house specialty pad thai had unique additions of eggplant (tasted grilled and not mushy), kale, chives - 8/10 because a little sweet for my taste as a whole but I enjoyed the unique ingredients. The "meat" is really aromatic & flavorful. Pretty sweet flavor with savory to balance it out. I ate it with Sriracha which I think it needs. Has a really good, dense meaty chew to it. It's one of those flavors & textures you can just keep on eating. In some ways it's almost too flavorful as I kept thinking it would work well with rice. I'm surprised I actually liked the coleslaw much more than I would. Maybe it's because it's vegan mayo (not as heavy/thick) or the seasoning, it was tasty but maybe just a little bit sweet towards the end. The side of steamed broccoli & baby carrots were just to basic for me. For some reason the broccoli was actually (fridge) cold. Yellow curry is a solid curry dish. It's a very deep tumeric heavy, savory, little sweet flavor that works well with the noodles. Very minimal spice as I've found with other yellow curry. I do wish the noodles were more al dente. Unfortunately I don't have any photos for this and I really should have taken some. To be quite honest I did not expect this place to be so good. First of all just to add some context I am a carnivore through and through, but every now and then I like to cleanse my palate, clean my belly and go completely meatless. When you walk in they do greet you and from the sound of it I wasn't sure if English was their first language, but it doesn't matter they were very sweet kind and the food was absolutely delicious. I brought my family so it wasn't just my opinion that I'm sharing it's their experience as well. The dishes that we had were Orange chicken, pho, beef broccoli, fried rice, and various drinks not too sure what they were but I don't remember. There was nothing that I dislike there at all. I would definitely go back even if I wasn't on a diet or going meatless I would still eat here if that's where the family wanted to go for lunch. read more

Where do I start... My new favorite restaurant. I have been craving Thai for a while now and My Vegan delivered like you wouldn't believe. I immediately told a relative and a friend who later went and had the same experience. It's their favorite place now too. My girlfriend is not vegan and she loved it just as much as I did. I ordered the signature pad Thai. She ordered the carbonara pasta plate and we shared an order of steamed dumplings. The Pad Thai was a 5 out of 5. So flavorful and a generous portion which was enough for lunch and to take home as well. The carbonara was a 4/5 for me but I am not the biggest fan of creamy sauces so maybe I am not the best to rate this dish. It was however very flavorful and filling also. The dumplings were a great start to our main courses. I will he honest and say that the reason I had made a real effort to come here is because of the exterior but don't let that fool you. Walking in the restaurant will change your opinion. Very warm and inviting. Servers were great also. Food came out promptly and when the bill came out I had to do a double take because it was a lot less than I have been used to since I've started my plant based diet. All in all. This place is great and Is definitely recommend to anyone. I would encourage you to bring a friend who might be skeptical on the taste of plant based alternatives and prove them wrong. We decided to come here on a whim on a Sunday evening and we were so pleasantly surprised by the food and the service! My son has a dairy and egg allergy, so it gave us peace of mind knowing this place was entirely vegan. We came with our 2 year old and they were very kid friendly and accommodating. The service was great -- they checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal and even asked my toddler if he wanted more water when he finished. We ordered the pad sea ew, the P.E.T., the signature pad Thai, and the orange chicken. The portion sizes were generous and the flavor profiles for every dish were on point! This place has been on my list for a while now but I was a little disappointed especially with so many raving reviews. My bf and I ordered the Tom yum noodle soup with tofu, pad Thai with tofu, and orange chicken. Our favorite was definitely the orange chicken! It was perfectly tangy paired with amazingly made rice (might've been brown rice?). We wish this dish was a little more crispy, but still good nonetheless. My bf liked the pad Thai but I thought it was pretty standard/basic. We actually meant to get their signature pad Thai, but I didn't realize there was a regular pad Thai option on the menu until after. I wish the staff clarified because it can be a little difficult for first time customers ordering from a Yelp menu to know there are 2 options. Lastly, the Tom yum was definitely a no for us. It was so overwhelmingly spicy !!! Like borderline not edible. And it is more sweet rather than sour like the ones that we are normally used to. I can eat spicy, but this dish literally got me choking on every bite. I'd say this place is a great option for vegans because they have so many Thai options to choose from. My brother, a straight up carnivore, was helping me move to SoCal and suggested My Vegan to me as a final "goodbye dinner" before we parted ways. I was surprised that he would eat all vegan as he doesn't usually do that, but needless to say, I was excited at all the offerings at My Vegan. We showed up on a Thursday night around 6pm, and the place was pretty crowded. We waited about 10 minutes for a table. We ordered a bunch of food and ate family-style where we shared all of our dishes. We really wanted to try a little bit (or a lot) of everything. We started with the soy beef tacos, and followed it up with the chicken carbonara, orange chicken, and pad see ew. Everything was amazing! It was so flavorful and each dish was unique. I loved the tacos (which you can order with lentils, soy chicken or soy beef) - they came with a "cheese" sauce drizzle and a side of spicy red sauce. Caution: the sauce is SPICY but also tasty. The pad see ew was also amazing and rival any thai pad see ew I've had. If you're craving thai, this is the dish to get. But if you're looking to try something new, it's not anything different than a normal pad see ew. It is very good though. The orange chicken was also one of my favorites. You could definitely taste the orange and citrus, and at first I didn't know how to feel about it. However, after 3 bites, I decided I was in love. I've actually been craving this since I first had it (it's been a couple weeks). This comes with a side of brown rice. Finally, the chicken carbonara. To be honest, I was on the fence about this dish. I liked it, but I couldn't eat too much. It was very rich and creamy. Definitely a heavy dish. I ended up taking about half the order home as leftovers.... and devoured it the next day for dinner. For some reason, it tasted so much better to me the day after and I had no guilt eating it up.
