Unfortunately I don't have any photos for this and I really should have taken some. To be quite honest I did not expect this place to be so good. First of all just to add some context I am a carnivore through and through, but every now and then I like to cleanse my palate, clean my belly and go completely meatless. When you walk in they do greet you and from the sound of it I wasn't sure if English was their first language, but it doesn't matter they were very sweet kind and the food was absolutely delicious. I brought my family so it wasn't just my opinion that I'm sharing it's their experience as well. The dishes that we had were Orange chicken, pho, beef broccoli, fried rice, and various drinks not too sure what they were but I don't remember. There was nothing that I dislike there at all. I would definitely go back even if I wasn't on a diet or going meatless I would still eat here if that's where the family wanted to go for lunch. read more

I have been CRAVING tom yum soup for 5 years now; which is when I chose to stop eating shell fish. For some odd reason I didn't think about looking for a vegan thai restaurant...duh! Delicious. Just finished a UberEats order. It came STEAMING HOT! I meant to take a photo but I seriously inhaled it as soon as it arrived! I usually have to reheat delivery orders but this was fresh and hot! Delicious. I had a mixed vegetables stir fry. It was seriously the best stir-fry. Well flavored ano spiced. So tasty and so full of flavor, comes with tofu (add $ for other proteins) and the eggplant was just perfect. Insane. -Yellow Curry was top notch as well $11. With rice, the curry was not heavy nor light. Coconutty, well spiced drowning potatoes and blocks of tofu. -Also got one vegan egg roll just to try it. This tiny, vegan Thai restaurant located within an unassuming strip mall is definitely one of the better tasting vegan Thai restaurants I've been to in a long time. The tastes were very comparable to regular Thai food so bravo to getting the flavor profile on point. Perhaps it was a good sign that everyone that worked there spoke Thai so it is seemingly a family-owned business. The only oddity here is the restroom is located in the back so you will need to walk through he small kitchen to get to it. Really affordable, Thai vegan food! Usually vegan places overcharge but this place is a great deal and the portions are very large. The combo special is $12 and includes your choice of entree - the green curry was a great flavor but I would ask for spicier if you like spicy food over a "mild" level. The house specialty pad thai had unique additions of eggplant (tasted grilled and not mushy), kale, chives - 8/10 because a little sweet for my taste as a whole but I enjoyed the unique ingredients. The "meat" is really aromatic & flavorful. Pretty sweet flavor with savory to balance it out. I ate it with Sriracha which I think it needs. Has a really good, dense meaty chew to it. It's one of those flavors & textures you can just keep on eating. In some ways it's almost too flavorful as I kept thinking it would work well with rice. I'm surprised I actually liked the coleslaw much more than I would. Maybe it's because it's vegan mayo (not as heavy/thick) or the seasoning, it was tasty but maybe just a little bit sweet towards the end. The side of steamed broccoli & baby carrots were just to basic for me. For some reason the broccoli was actually (fridge) cold. Yellow curry is a solid curry dish. It's a very deep tumeric heavy, savory, little sweet flavor that works well with the noodles. Very minimal spice as I've found with other yellow curry. I do wish the noodles were more al dente. SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING: Postmates order so no real comments on service. Food was very fresh though & did not have to reheat the curry. Everything was packaged well & securely. Where do I start... My new favorite restaurant. I have been craving Thai for a while now and My Vegan delivered like you wouldn't believe. I immediately told a relative and a friend who later went and had the same experience. It's their favorite place now too. My girlfriend is not vegan and she loved it just as much as I did. I ordered the signature pad Thai. She ordered the carbonara pasta plate and we shared an order of steamed dumplings. The Pad Thai was a 5 out of 5. So flavorful and a generous portion which was enough for lunch and to take home as well. The carbonara was a 4/5 for me but I am not the biggest fan of creamy sauces so maybe I am not the best to rate this dish. It was however very flavorful and filling also. The dumplings were a great start to our main courses. I will he honest and say that the reason I had made a real effort to come here is because of the exterior but don't let that fool you. Walking in the restaurant will change your opinion. Very warm and inviting. Servers were great also. Food came out promptly and when the bill came out I had to do a double take because it was a lot less than I have been used to since I've started my plant based diet. All in all. This place is great and Is definitely recommend to anyone. I would encourage you to bring a friend who might be skeptical on the taste of plant based alternatives and prove them wrong. We decided to come here on a whim on a Sunday evening and we were so pleasantly surprised by the food and the service! My son has a dairy and egg allergy, so it gave us peace of mind knowing this place was entirely vegan. We came with our 2 year old and they were very kid friendly and accommodating. The service was great -- they checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal and even asked my toddler if he wanted more water when he finished. We ordered the pad sea ew, the P.E.T., the signature pad Thai, and the orange chicken. The portion sizes were generous and the flavor profiles for every dish were on point! We arrived and kind of shocked they didn't offer Covid dining options but we decided to give it a try because of its raving reviews. This place was packed at 8pm. We waited for the dinner rush to pass thinking we could go when it was slow. The staff told us to look at a printed menu on a table closest to the door. This place has been on my list for a while now but I was a little disappointed especially with so many raving reviews. My bf and I ordered the Tom yum noodle soup with tofu, pad Thai with tofu, and orange chicken. Our favorite was definitely the orange chicken! It was perfectly tangy paired with amazingly made rice (might've been brown rice?). We wish this dish was a little more crispy, but still good nonetheless. My bf liked the pad Thai but I thought it was pretty standard/basic. We actually meant to get their signature pad Thai, but I didn't realize there was a regular pad Thai option on the menu until after. I wish the staff clarified because it can be a little difficult for first time customers ordering from a Yelp menu to know there are 2 options. Lastly, the Tom yum was definitely a no for us. It was so overwhelmingly spicy !!! Like borderline not edible. And it is more sweet rather than sour like the ones that we are normally used to. I can eat spicy, but this dish literally got me choking on every bite. I'd say this place is a great option for vegans because they have so many Thai options to choose from. This place definitely doesn't need yet another 5-star review, but it's just THAT stellar. PARKING- shared lot FOOD- personal favorite is the soy fish pad kee Mao. Their meat alternatives remind me so much of the Chinese vegetarian cuisine I grew up eating. Portion size is generous enough for two meals for small appetites. The food is decent, but the Pad Thai is a hit or miss as others have mentioned. The food also tends to unnecessarily dry out when ordered as take out. So, I suggest a dine-in experience only. However, their sit-down payment system is awkward. They come to your table, hover over you with a device that automatically calculates your bill and then expect you to pay a minimum 18% tip without even looking at what you ordered. I asked for an itemized bill to ensure that I wasn't being overcharged. Good thing I did. They added a menu item without my knowledge. Oops, our mistake, right? Saw-wee. Hovering over you with that device like a helicopter mom is cheeky and uncouth. There was almost zero customer service during the meal, yet they have the time to quietly and creepily stand over me in hopes that I'll blindly pay their bill with an 18% tip? When did a tip at a restaurant change from a feeling of great customer service and a water refill at a bare minimum to an expectation? Did our server earn their tip, or am I expected to blindly pay them because they were simply kind enough to bring me food? Pasadena already charges 10.25% food tax. That, combined with an 18% suggested gratuity and the extra item I didn't order makes for an expensive meal for noodles that cost a dollar wholesale with some coconut cream and sugary pad Thai sauce. A two-star Yelp review suggests "could've been better", and that's exactly how I'd describe my experience. Although the food is decent, I don't think that I'll ever come back unless it's for take-out only. It's just not worth the drama. And make sure you check your bill beforehand just in case David Blaine is your server. read more
