Great tasting burger! Line was pretty long on a weekend afternoon but the service was really quick. Perfect place to stop by to grab a bite and walk around the other to find other gems in the area.

Wow! This burger was SO good I forgot I was eating a burger! Service was friendly and quick and the restaurant itself was easy and clean. I'm really glad we have one in LA otherwise I'd come back to Austin next week for another one!

Michelin Skateboarder burgers tucked away in Austin.... This little burger joint has its kitchen nestled between a busy bar strip and scooter parking. People pour out into the streets after placing their orders and leaving the compact restaurant. Open kitchen concept, you order immediately after walking in and then wait as the kitchen staff makes your burger. Fresh. Fries fried in beef tallow. Burgers and skateboard coloring pages line the walls along with the merch .... and the playlist bumps. Especially once the food comes out, idk it's like the music was enhanced or someone else hopped on the aux. the burgers ate fresh after 9pm (because happy hour, duh - $18 burger and fries) must be the best way. The cheese is melted perfectly, just enough jalapeños to give it flavor but not overwhelm you with spice and grilled onions. I didn't ask for any modifications and tbh for a burger next to bars after a good time, this is like the cherry on top. Honorable mention for this ketchup... it's not regular, is it Tony's? Idk but it's great with the fries. IPAs & Lagers also available. Staff was friendly. Yes, I can say this is a Michelin burger joint done right.

It's a very good burger. Excellent char on the meat. Soft brioche bun. Lots of sauce and cheese. A bit messy to eat but overall the taste is really good. The fries are outstanding. Lightly battered and very crunchy. Reminds me of Hide Park fries. Service was fine.

Definitely one of the juiciest burgers I've had, but how could it not be when it's made out of wagyu ground beef?? Order at the counter and then take a seat at the bar or pick a table outside. The interior is a bit cramped but people eat pretty quickly so you'll likely be able to grab a seat once you're done ordering. The fries are also really good. I don't necessarily think it's worth the price point, but you are paying the premium for wagyu.

Did I fall for the influencers' hype? Yes Is this the best burger I ever had? No Is this still a really good burger? Yes Are the fries decent? Yes Are the ingredients fresh and poppin'? Yes Is it worth the wait in line? No Would it be better to have it ubered to skip the line? Absolutely

Service was great. The burgers were standard smash burgers, but the 16$ was a bit excessive. We spent 30$ for 1 burger, fries, and a jarrito.

Food was really good but not amazing for the price. Two burgers and an order of fries ended up being around $40. I was excited to try it. The food was solid, but the atmosphere and customer service were pretty lackluster. I would go back with different expectations next time.

Surprised to not see a line this evening. Around 8:42pm on a Monday. Only one person customer at the counter inside. Ordering was easy and took about five minutes or so before my food was ready. I took it to go and had no modifications. Jalapeños and pickles came off when I got in after trying a bite. The burger was cooked well, toppings worked well and the fries were also tasty. The store was clean and I was intrigued by the spices you could buy to take home. Friendly staff and efficient.

Finally got an opportunity to try out the famous Wagyu burger here and it did not disappoint. I love a good smash burger and it was wonderfully saucey, juicy and had crispy edges. Next time I would order the sauce on the side because the sauce and patty juices can make the burger a bit soggy. The fries were perfectly crispy. It is steep to spend $20 on a burger and fries but it's worth the treat. I also enjoyed their ketchup which seems to be homemade.

Such a good little burger spot! Was told to try this place out by a ATX local. Was spot on. Burger was bomb. Their fries are like crack as well as whatever their ketchup sauce is. But be warned you will definitely need a nap afterwards! Service is great, food came out quick and it's a nice cozy type of spot. Lots of skatevideos to watch on the tv and they also offer a few beers to choose from.

Yes we are still eating our way through Austin and Wow, what a a Damn great lunch at NADC (Not A Damn Chance). Their Wagyu smash burger, made with premium US Wagyu, is hands-down one of the best burgers we've ever tasted--my husband even declared it *the* best! Paired with ultra-crispy fries cooked in beef tallow (the best fries I've ever had), this meal was a pure joy to eat. The vibe at NADC is as fantastic as the food. The staff was fun, friendly, and welcoming. A shout-out to the awesome cashier who shared the story behind the name--originally, they wouldn't allow *any* changes to their burgers (hence "Not A Damn Chance"), but they've loosened up, letting my Husband skip the onions. The chefs were equally cool, making the experience even more memorable. We're already looking forward to our next Austin trip to revisit NADC. Bonus: we're dining at PastaBar Austin, which is the Chef that co-founded NADC's, for our final vacation meal--a chef's tasting experience we can't wait to try! Huge thanks to Hestia Manager Greg for recommending NADC. Foodies unite!

I've been walking by this place for a year and a half but the price always kept me from trying it. Today i had a $25 credit from inKind (their payment service) so I decided it was time to try it! OMG! Not A Damn Chance will i wait that long to go back again. That's a delicious burger that's so tender and delicious. Even the jalapeño are perfectly cooked so they are just soft enough and crunchy enough at the same time. I also got the beast mode french fries which are really good and I bet they make the fries in house since they were different than fries you usually get. The service was extremely friendly and I was served very fast. When I said I was riding home on a rental bike and needed the food packaged well, since it would be held by a bungee cord, it got wrapped up very well and was perfect when I unpacked it all at home. Next time i'll stay and eat at the restaurant cause it has a very cool style and comfortable counter top eat at, as well as outdoor seating.

There is some picnic bench seating if you care to eat there, but each order is ready to take home You can also find a menu and other information posted on the outside. The menu mostly offers burgers, but there are a couple other offerings like a cheesesteak, partner, etc. The staff were very friendly and precessional. I really appreciated that they double checked everything in our to-go bags against what we ordered just to make sure we had everything. Everything was bagged, and the orders had the individual order and special order requests written on top Everything tasted great. The burgers were classic burgers, slightly messy, but very flavorful. The fries weren't quite as crisp as I like, but they were seasoned well and tasty Some tips: Consider ordering online so you can have your meal ready when you arrive The burgers/entrees don't come with fries, so, consider ordering a couple fries to share. One order of fries is more than enough for 2 people to share. To do this just make your meal a combo on the ones you want to have fries. Combos also come with a drink, but it's not a fountain drink it's in cans which they also bag for you Cheers!!

This was by far the best meal I've had all week. The cheeseburger was outstanding. The bun was perfect--soft, and held everything together without getting soggy. The meat had incredible flavor, juicy and well-seasoned, and the divine (I'm assuming that's the special sauce or topping?) absolutely blew me away--it took the whole thing to another level. The fries were exactly how I like them: thick-cut, tender, not overly crunchy or crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was spot-on. Service was excellent too--friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Shoutout to the team for making a conference-weary traveler feel right at home. And they have a whole menu of "anytime eats" that you can order directly from the bar without waiting in line. Been here three times. From the "anytime eats" menu, would highly recommend the chopped cheese brisket sandwich- absolutely divine. On Thursdays they do chicken fried steak which was VERY good- but I found myself wishing I had just waited in line for action bbq. Onion rings are some of the best I've had. And the cornbread is a next level version that beats out fine dining restaurants attempts- hands down. For bbq, I've had brisket, sausage, pulled whole hog, and Tri tip. I think the Tri tip is a sleeper hit here- it was melt in your mouth tender and still had that wonderful smokiness. The brisket was.... Brisket. Very good. Great bark. Didn't really stand out, IMO. But it was what you hope for with brisket. Sausage as well- very good. The pulled whole hog rivaled the best of the Carolinas. Smokey, tender, rich. Just delicious. And I guess this is what surprised me most- how two bbq dishes from different regions (CA for trip tip and NC for whole hog) stood out as excellent dishes here in Texas. Where many of the bbq spots here really focus on the brisket as the star- it can feel repetitive between all of the famous spots. But at L&L, all of their dishes are done to excellence and they have put their own twist on. As their slogan says, new school barbecue with old school service. Can't wait to come back.
