Chicken marsala, rice, and fried chicken dumplings

Street parking always tough downtown. Gonna have to walk a few blocks. Xmas/New Years week was busy everywhere and all the places were short staffed. So we were notified on entry things were taking longer than normal. Sat at the bar. The bartender was nice but a little overwhelmed. Drinks were made great. Food took longer as expected. No complaints there. But most of it was cold when we got it... why? Didn't say nothing because we were hungry and didn't want to wait any longer. Taste was good.

When I first entered I was a little skeptical because it was empty. There were no diners other than my cousin and I. We were seated by the window and great service began. The server was very personable great sense of humor and knowledge of the menu. It was quiet inside and spacious. The food was plentiful and delicious. The hummus made me smile. And my main course was fantastic. Good vegan options.

The best Indian cuisine I've had. I'm typically not a huge fan of Indian cuisine. Not because it isn't good, it's just not my favorited for my palate. The spices was right on par. Medium "American hot". Cool atmosphere with happy hour specials. Phenomenal service quality. If you're interested in something new definitely try Namaste Savannah.

This may be the best Indian food I have ever had, the Tikka Masala is fabulous, perfect cooked chicken the you can cut with a fork, the sauce is served on the side so you can decide how much you want on it, the garlic naan is great and the the mixed drinks are also make just right. Service was great, very nice server that was able to answer any questions we had, very attentive and quick. The lighting is not too bright, very relaxing environment with classic rock in the background.

Have mixed feelings about this place. It's not bad, but not mind-blowing either--quite plain. My main reservations: 1) the rice wasn't done perfectly--it's either not fresh, or done with a tad too little water, causing the end result "lumpy". 2) the traditional curry is too loose/watery. 3) our waitress was wearing mask on and off. The lack of wow effects makes me wonder how long this place can last in downtown. They need to step up the game a bit. They are branding as a Nepalese fusion restaurant, which is actually a nice niche. As someone who has travelled extensively in Nepal, I'd love to see them last!

We ordered pick up for dinner on a Friday night, and was pleased when our order just took 20 minutes. We ordered the samosas, vegetable boiled momo's, tofu curry, Chile naan, and garlic naan The samosas were great, crispy and light fried outer layer, and great flavor, well seasoned interior The momo's were a fun new item to try for both of us. Very yummy spices with garbanzo beans, and it came with more than I expected The tofu curry tasted possibly tomato based, and had a decent amount of tofu, very tasty and served with rice The naan was delicious and each order came with two big pieces. There was a lot of flavors in both Overall a delicious meal, and I a good amount for two people

Came July 26. I forgot the server's name, but he was nice and very attentive. He recommended us stuff and helped us since it was our first time. Food was very delicious! Place looked clean as well. Would definitely come here again when I visit savannah .

We were actually looking for another Indian restaurant and found this one instead. We were seated with five minutes upon arrival. It is pretty full and there is a large party up to the right of the restaurant. Our waitress Brenda was very nice and said she was still learning the terms of the menu when I asked about a hard cracker type bread (papadum). I ordered Curry Lamb (19.99) comes with rice only. I asked for it to be mild because my friend does not like spicy. If you don't like spicy make sure you have a glass of milk or naan because even mild is spicy. We also ordered garlic naan (3.99) and the papadum (4.00). When we received the lamb and naan I asked for mango chutney, which the did not have! That is like the number one chutney and I can't believe they did not have any. They only had mint and one other (can't remember name) but it is dark red and very sweet (probably tamarind). The red chutney helped cool down the lamb. We were half way through our lamb and still did not have the red sauce or the papadum. I had to go to the waitress station and ask for it when the hostess asked if she could help. This is when I really noticed that there were only two people servers and a hostess working this entire restaurant. The lamb was so tender and the garlic naan was full of garlic. The papadum was a little burnt but still good. The size of the meal fed two people and we were both full with the help of the naan. It took a little time for us to get our bill but you could see Brenda was working hard for her money. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. Would I go back? Yes, but I would make sure I brought my chutney with me. 12/19/21

7/5/2002 arrived @8:30pm , the 4th of July crowd is gone and the place ( as others are in Sav) was not busy . We were greeted by the friendly host . Service was excellent . What we ordered : garlic and cheese naan, tandoori chicken , stir fry noodles with shrimp , and the Taj beer . One thing not in the menu is what they called the Chicken lollypop- soooo tasty . All food we ordered were excellent . Will definitely return and highly recommended.

We were roaming the streets of Savannah and we were feeling hungry. We wanted to have a quick appetizer and we decided to have chicken steamed momos at Namaste Savannah. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and ambience was also amazing. We were greeted by our server and we decided to order Chicken Steamed momos. Although the service was slow and we had to wait for around 25-30 minutes to get our food. The food was hot and good. Good momos.

Garlic naan, tandoori shrimp, Yellow Dal (Tadka dal), Saag Paneer

Food was great, as were the servers. We ordered the tandoori shrimp, and they were perfectly done. The garlic naan was fantastic. We also enjoyed the yellow dal and the saag paneer.

Flavor has descended upon Downtown! It has one of the few buffets worth going to. If you are a fan of Indian this is the place for you. Nepalese has a similar profile plus a fusion from surrounding Asian cultures. What won me over was the fresh naan brought with your meal. A good selection with over ten options and today there were four vegetarian platters aside from salad. Dal and paneer are staples. There were two chicken curries and a tiki masala. The only thing I was missing was texture contrast. Food was tasty and reserved enough not to blow mainstream's palate although I prefer more assertive spice and seasoning. The spices certainly come through with notes of cardamon and coriander. The regular menu is also available. Friendly service as the staff were checking in to make sure everything was alright. They are lucky to have Zach who was both attentive and friendly. The buffet varies from day to day, but on the weekends you have a better chance of other options aside from chicken (goat) and I noticed somosas. I can't wait to return on a weekend. Great affordable price and weekends it goes up a few dollars to about $15. Although this is on the main drag it blends into the other store fronts. Look for it next to Levy's jewelry store.

The sign clearly states that they close at 10p. They refused to serve me at 9p when there are clearly people still in the restaurant eating.

I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

What a beautiful picturesque place to have some bites and cocktails!…read more I was welcomed into this moody, velvety spot with a sweeping view of the river. Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.
