The vegan food is absolutely delicious but very pricey. The cold tea came in a small cup and was $4 with no refill. We ordered 4 items and 2 drinks which came to over $60. The mac and cheese came in a tiny containers not how it looked on the menu. The bbq cauliflower was delicious. The dining area leaves alot to be desired but did it's purpose. You order on a computer and not with a person which can take time and leave people waiting behind you if your slow. It adds a tip automatically which can be deleted since you're supposed to clean up your own mess. It's not in the budget to come every week. But once in awhile is doable. read more

Great vegan spot, a lot of items are made in house instead of being highly processed soy items. The hood rolls are a stable. I came here to pick up a holiday meal that I had ordered two weeks in advanced. It was prepaid as well. I sat in their dining room for an hour and 20 min along side a lot of other upset customers waiting for our meals to come out. A few people left. I sat in the waiting room vs my partner because they were super rude to him and laughed when he asked "how long will it be"?. That's super not cool and not how anyone should treat anyone. My first and last time visiting. Totally unacceptable to sit and wait over an hour for a meal pickup, especially because they weren't even open for regular business that day. I was really bummed, I had been wanting to try their food. Got home to eat and three of the included menu items were missing from mine AND my fiancés plates :/ The portions they managed to get in the box were so small. We ended up doing cooking of our own as well and running to the grocery store to supplement what they had forgotten. I've been vegan/vegetarian for 7 years and the food wasn't horrible, but not the best. The "chicken" and waffles were made with jackfruit, the breading wasn't bad, but the nutmeg on the waffles, the syrup or the peaches was overwhelming and it overpowered the waffles batter which has potential. The chicken sandwich wasn't bad and neither were the fries it came with, but sandwich was dry, but edible. Also ordered the buffalo chicken fries and again mediocre. All plates were 15.00 and ranch on the side was .50 cents as well . Ordered the Oreo shake which was 7.00 and they were really good-no complaints. The atmosphere was boring and we live in a time where people go places just to take a picture and post. Im actually a really good cook and im not trying to be harsh, but honest. Food has potential, but it could be better- especially for the price. If your going to make vegan food don't make all soy based or crap ingredients- that's where people go wrong. I don't want soy, I don't want dyes or my food made when chemical ingredients. The two young ladies working there were nice and so was the man cooking who came out and asked guest how their food was. Let's do it! I ended up getting the soul food plate (Cauliflower wings and/or Ribs, Mac n cheese, greens and a piece of cornbread. I also got gumbo. I had to see what vegan gumbo tastes like...It was bomb! So were the ribs. The texture and taste was very consistent to beef ribs. I was pleasantly surprised. Mac n cheese: The "cheese" sauce was really, really good. It's by far the best Mac n cheese I have ever tasted in a soul food spot in the valley...It's still blowing my mind that it's dairy free. How, Sway. How?!!! The wings were superb and had a crunchy "breading" on the outside which gave it a familiar crunch. Only to be met with a dirty poorly kept restaurant and offensive bathroom. Service was friendly yet unorganized and poor order management. My gps gave me the run around, but I was able to find this place and I was glad I did. The collard greens were nicely seasoned (not too salty), and the potato salad has lots of flavor with a slither of sweetness. The buffalo cauliflower came in huge pieces which was nice. The ribs are made with what tasted like seitan and jackfruit. The jackfruit was nice, and although I am not a fan of seitan the ribs were full of flavor and had a smokey grill flavor which was a pleasant surprise. The mac and cheese is delicious and I was happy I bought two.
