Walking past the joint, I couldn't tell how big the bar is, but after being inside, Im like its a nice bar size and scene. Our server was Nancy (not the namesake lol) and she is one of the best ever! Very attentive, personable and just overall awesome! There are two old fashioneds on the menu (Rocco's Old Fashioned & Italian Old Fashioned) and while both are awesome, Rocco wins out here. I love that they give you a king cube with your old fashioned! We got a medium sausage, spinach and mozzarella stuffed pizza and it did not disappoint! Very filling of course but we did some damage with 2 slices left to take home. Very different from most deep dish pizza I've had which is a good thing! A week or so later I was at home with nothing to do and wanted to check their thin crust as I saw most people getting it when I stopped by. Their lemon pepper and buffalo wings were pretty good too. When I dined in, their waffle fries came with spicy ketchup and it was so good! However, spicy ketchup didn't come with my take out order. While in search of a pizza restaurant to carb load for Bank of America Chicago 13.1; the interest in Nancy's Pizza Chicago - West Loop came after I searched for pizza restaurants within a radius of my residence offering delivery. While looking at the menu online, I remembered that Nancy's Pizza was recommended to me some time ago by a coworker because of its good quality, and it having Ben & Jerry's ice cream on the menu which was a reminder after seeing it. It took fifty-seven minutes from the time my order was acknowledged by Grubhub to the arrival of it at my residence. A shout out to the Grubhub delivery driver for making that happen in that reasonable time. I want to point out that the pizza smelled so good! And ooh la la to go along with its lovely smell, it looked freaking delicious! I swear! Thin crust pizza is so underrated in my opinion, and it was cut into mini squares. Ordered from Nancy's for the first time and definitely hands down the best thin crust in Chicago as far as proper cooking and proportions, plus their sauce is nice, not too tangy or sweet but just right. They brown the pizza just right, usually for my taste I have to cook pizzas for 10 minutes at 450 so they are actually "finished," but Nancy knows how to do it. I have been craving pizza and mozzarella sticks. After a quick search, I came across Nancy's on Yelp. I placed an order for pickup and it was ready in about 40 mins. I got the Buffalo chicken thin crust pizza. A medium is more than enough for two people. The chicken was juicy. The flavors worked together incredibly. Unfortunately they didn't include the blue cheese, which I think it's supposed to come with, but it was still delicious. The mozzarella sticks were great too. Prob not the best for takeout since they won't be fresh out of the fryer but still delicious. They come with a green pesto sauce to dip in that was absolutely delicious. Easily accessible by RAIL and Bus transit. CONS: a few booths, mostly high tables. It is located in a busy area, and parking seems sparse.
