The Albina Bowl was delicious. Located in a food cart pod with multiple delicious food options. Service was fast, friendly and efficient!

I've been to Native Bowl only TWICE since I've lived in Portland. Which honestly, I feel makes me a terrible vegan. I have had the Buffalo Bowl and the Alberta Bowl. Both times the bowls are HUGE and packed with fresh, vibrant, CRISPY vegetables. The Buffalo sauce was good and that bowl rocked. BUT the Alberta. OH. YUM. The sauce was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious. Spicy and creamy and perfect to accent the other flavors. The garlic tofu was seasoned to perfection as well. I would only change that the cubes are huge lol. I would do them half or even a quarter of the size but hell, the bowl was perfect to me Now I'll be honest, I have a weird thing with places I LOVE in that I like to try EVERY item on the menu. BUT I don't like Teriyaki or BBQ. My husband loves both and I've had bites of his and I don't like them. He however loves the sauces. I won't be able to give an opinion on the bowls with those flavors but to tell you my husband says they're 5 stars. I'll definitely be trying more and will update on my other finds! But this is worth every penny and you'll feel great after eating it!

That hardest thing about coming to Native Bowl is deciding on which bowl to get. They all sounded delicious so I just went with the special the had written on the board. IT was packed full of yummy fiber and protein. Important: make sure you opt for the roasted garlic. They were supper generous with the amount of garlic they gave you, and I felt it made the bowl that much better. It had been awhile since dining at this food truck pod and they have added some great seating areas at either Prost or at Bloodbuzz, which serves, coffee, cocktails and beer. We were able to secure a spot near the firepit at Bloodbuzz, were I also had the Girl & The Sea Cocktail. I would recommend doing the same.

Oh man! Do they do bowls right!!! I got the Morrison bowl. Lightly spicy sauce that is delicious with some roasted garlic on top of the rice and veggies. YUM! This easily will fill you up and you'll have left overs.

Za'atar, lemon garlic tahini sauce, grilled garbanzo beans, red cabbage, pita chips, pepperoncinis and scallions on a bed of jasmine rice.

This evening we treated ourselves to a Hollywood Bowl and a Burnside bowl. Husband had read some great reviews on Reddit and decided to go out of the way and drive over for some take out. And what an AWESOME choice that was! Portions are ridiculously huge and filled with tons of goodies including fresh veggies. Plus, each bowl was reasonably priced! I think the Hollywood Bowl was a bit tastier than the Burnside bowl. The Hollywood bowl reminded me of a vegan gyro but in a healthier bowl form. For sure worth the trek!!

Great vegan sport. Couldn't decide which bowl I wanted to try more. The broadway bowl didn't disappoint! I'll be back for the Buffalo!

Native bowl offers a variety of bowl options that are full of fresh ingredients and flavorful sauces. Profiles vary from peanut sauce to teriyaki to buffalo and more. Unlike many places, they do not skimp on the vegan protein. Many dishes include a fake chicken (seems like beyond meat) and my bowl was packed full of it! The food cart area is behind a bar, so you can also pair your meal with a pint (if you're so inclined.)

I was looking for a healthy lunch spot and came across this food truck. Asked for the most popular bowl that didn't include a vegan meat substitute. I was recommended the Morrison bowl. Healthy enough, but nothing special. A bit of heat, but the favor of the bowl was underwhelming.

Which options are nut free? A lot of vegan food uses nuts, so those of us with severe allergies need a heads up!

The only bowls that have nuts are the Broadway and Albina. They have peanut sauce. We sprinkle sesame seeds on all of the bowls. Sesame seeds aren't nuts obviously but some people are allergic to them. Hope this helps. Thank you!

Since it was my first time, I asked the staff for a recommendation. They suggested the bibimbap and mentioned it was on the spicy side, which I was totally okay with. It had so many different flavors and textures, and somehow they all worked perfectly together. The waiter also suggested mixing everything together before taking the first bite, which I really appreciated. The ambiance was super cute, with a cozy little tiki-bar vibe inside, and they also have a few outdoor tables. The service was exceptional throughout. This is an easy 5-star review from me.

Experience: I visited Top Burmese for dinner with a friend and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. This was both of our first times. I am vegan while my friend is not and we had no struggle finding options that suited our needs. What stood out: Service: The staff was knowledgable and checked in on us frequently. Our food only took about 20 minutes to come out despite a busy dinner rush and we were offered chili flakes to spice up our curries. was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Food: For the table, we ordered the samosas which were perfectly flaky and filled with fresh veggies. I ordered the ruby garden non alcoholic beverage as well as the tofu curry with coconut rice. Every bite and drink of what I ordered tasted unique and made with intention. The samosas were incredible dipped into what tasted like a sweet and sour chili sauce. My tofu curry and coconut rice had a delightful blend of textures and tasted like no other curry I have ever had before. Ambiance: The atmosphere is so cozy with Burmese decor alongside dim lighting. It is perfect for a date night or catching up with a friend. Overall, I will be returning to Top Burmese to enjoy more of their vegan friendly curries and appetizers!

The food was so good it made my day; adding tempeh to the mighty bowl with the garlic and tahini sauce is so good. 10/10 recommend. It was my first time coming here, and I had a lot of questions about the menu to the point where I could feel myself becoming annoying (face palm). The gal taking my order was Jessi, she was so helpful, kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, and authentically friendly. I can't remember what it was that we shared a laugh about, but I walked away happy because of that type of simple interaction that restores your faith in humanity. People who have never worked in the service industry are generally clueless and walk into a restaurants like it's their first day on earth. I love chocolate and peanut butter together esp with coffee but their drink was inedible with an awful taste. Maybe they gave me almond butter by mistake. Woof I couldn't even force it down. The quesadilla was incredibly greasy and nothing like a quesadilla. The mouth feel of the walnut chorizo with the soft vegetables was weird / it felt gritty. The flavors fell as well. The only highlight was the salsa but I'm 90% sure it was salsa de welo which you can buy at a store. No one would finish my quesadillas at the table. Major miss for me.
