You can definitely tell the place is family owned. We were greeted promptly by who seemed to be the owner or at least acted like he owned the place. We asked what he recommended and he said, "we are a new place, so everything on the menu is recommended. He said, "what I do know is anything on the menu that you've tried somewhere else, will be better here". Well, he wasn't kidding, the food was amazing. We had the Chicken Pekora (Mmmmmm), the Garlic and cheddar cheese naan (mmmmmm), the chefs special - garlic chicken (mmmmm) and the Bison Momas -dumplings. Simply delicious and wonderful hospitality. Really good food and very clean inside. I was happy to see an Indian food place on the west side and decided to give it a try. I was surprised to see it empty on a Friday night but I think that is just because it is still new. I ordered the vegetable coconut korma with naan and it was delicious. Saw the great reviews and stopped by. Part of a strip mall by a Vasa Gym. Very clean place with nice plates Ann's table settings. Mani our waiter greeted us and was very friendly. It was my wife's birthday and we were treated like royalty. Mani recommended some incredible foods that we hadn't tried before. We've loved Bombay house, the India house and others in the area, but the flavors here at Nepali were INCREDIBLE! Even the classics like the Lassi and the mango ice cream were even better here. Took great care of our kids and extended family. DEFINITELY worth a few minutes drive more for the incredible food. We will definitely be back! read more

We discovered it on Google and saw that they had a full five stars so we knew we had to try it -- when we walked in, Mani greeted us at the door with his humble, yet confident, attitude. He recommended the chicken dumplings for an appetizer, which were served very fresh and with a delicious sauce. I had the Makhani and my boyfriend tried the Chef's Special -- both were absolutely amazing -- full of perfect flavors, fresh & hot! Tonight was our second night back and we both tried something different, as we are convinced you cannot go wrong with any dish here. We stopped at Nepali Chulo on our way back from Yellow Stone . We were all craving for some Indian food . We had paneer pakoras , veg momos , veg kofta with nan , mango lassi and some puris . My husband and I ate here for the first time on Valentines Day, without a reservation, an hour before closing and it was so busy! The owner said he wasn't prepared for the unexpected rush on a Sunday night and was a bit curt at first, but called for backup staff and the rest of the evening went well. He even sent us home with a heart balloon. We were unfamiliar with the cuisine and appreciated the extra time to go over the menu before ordering. Now to the food... - bison momos - lamb curry (medium spice level) - lamb coconut korma (also medium) We selected a bottle of Allegro Moscato to accompany our meal, which paired surprisingly well. The bison momos, what can I say, we're still dreaming of their savory deliciousness and can't wait to have them again! Generous serving for two, but we decided that next time, we're not sharing. Both of our lamb dishes were succulently tender and so flavorful, although the medium spice level took us both by surprise and we normally eat some really spicy food, but new to curry spices, so next time I will take it down to mild for my adapting palate and work my way up. At the end of our meal, we were pleasantly treated to a serving of mango pudding, I didn't know such a heavenly fruit dessert existed! It was so good. Since it was such a busy night for the staff, I think they graciously allowed us to stay well past closing time to enjoy our meal. Service was spot on and friendly. I look forward to dining here again and hope to change my rating to a full 5 stars, but our first impression with all the rush upon our arrival made it feel a little unwelcoming for the first 10 minutes, which is part of the experience, especially to new patrons. Delicious. Crispy, spicy, perfectly-seasoned happiness. Do you remember when restaurants were warm and friendly and you ate a meal that made you glad to spend the money? This is it. Not pretty. Not convenient. Absolutely worth the trip. A small crew of friends went there with me, on pure chance. Weirdest pocket-gem in an inconvenient place. However... The hospitality was unparalleled, the service was prompt and attentive (and just nice), and the culinary delights were perfection. I have a particular fondness for Indian/Nepalese cuisine. I have also been fortunate enough to have some of the best "Indian" food in the US and England. I laughed to a friend about how I found the Asian cuisine in West Valley, Utah. But it's true. If you love southeast-Asian food and appreciate quality I cannot recommend them enough. Recommend the comforting butter chicken, delicate samosas (a challenge to get right), and the soft, crispy pillows of naan. I'm passionate about making sure that this family-owned cul-de-sac of gustatory-joy doesn't go un-noticed. This is a worthwhile destination. read more

Our family ordered vegetable samosas, chicken pakora, the bread basket, Jhol Momo, lamb tikka masala, chicken coconut korma, bhindi fry and mango and rose lassis. All were delicious. I had never had momos but they were flavorful and paired well with the sesame soup. My wife says they're not shy about the spiciness so you might want to go mild instead of medium, but I found my medium perfect so follow your tolerance. She also said the chicken was very tender. We had our order to go and when we picked it up the owner asked if we were first timers. When we confirmed that we were he let us know to call him back if we didn't like the food and he would gladly refund our money. We will be calling back, but it won't be to get our money back. We ate there for the first time. They wore masks and gloves and kept us well away from other dinners. The owner was very friendly and helpful with food choices and even told us that if something wasn't good he would make it right or wouldn't charge us for it. Everything we had was great and he gave us a free mango pudding to try for desert that was really good.
