I want to start off by saying that Kensley was amazing when helping me out! I had just bought a nespresso at Costco and wanted to visit this boutique. At first I went in hesitant because of the reviews but there was no bad experience from start to finish. Not sure why there's negative reviews because everyone around me looked happy with their service. So definitely don't listen to the negative critics and go in with a positive mindset! But yes huge shoutout to Kensley! She helped me pick so many great flavors and I even got some good deals! I can't wait to come back!

Awesome stop when shopping at Bloomingdale's. It's located just before entering back into mall next to the bedding section. Pods, machines and drink ware. Service was spectacular! The staff here are super welcoming and informative about their featured and seasonal coffee flavors. Teaming up with blue bottle coffee they have a nice Double espresso! Machine produced a nice little crema on top. Bold and beautiful.

Nespresso pods and recycled return bags

Went in to drop off used pods for recycling as these stores offer this service. Was immediately greeted by two friendly associates whom helped me immediately. I've only owned a Nespresso machine since late December and had ordered from Amazon up until now. I started speaking with another associate, Sarah, who was very helpful in recommending so choices based up my flavor preferences and strength in coffee I like. Went an iced coffee option for first time, four double espresso options and a flavor "Mexico" for full cup coffee. Sarah was also helpful with answering questions about my online account and also recommended and lavender vanilla coffee that was available for sample. All in all I had a very pleasant first experience and will be coming back here for sure! Was sent home with self addressed postage recycled bags for future pods that can be dropped off at UPS store which is more convenient for me.

I liked that there's a Nespresso inside Bloomingdales as it makes it easier to see their stocks and new flavors. We walked in and they check you in and you're assigned with a staff member. As a returning customer, they were able to see my account in their system, and we chatted about purchasing new flavors and replenishing old ones. The staff member was super helpful, and we were able to try a full cup of the new Joyeux flavor and Samra Origins. Due to the service, I would come back here again for the experience of trying their freshly brewed coffee.

For a 2 dollar each capsules, Nespresso should spent a bit more on the packaging. It came all dented when we opened Maragogype

This place is a joke. The guy with the iPad looks like he's taking restaurant orders but doesn't bother helping anyone at the door. So, we're left guessing how to grab some coffee pods. While browsing through the capsules, a staff member rudely told me, "I need this table; I have my customers over," and chased me away without further explanation. Mind you, I'm a customer too. When I stood in a sort of line, the iPad guy didn't approach me again, so I had to go to him instead. He then told me the wait would be about 15-20 minutes, even though there was only one lady in line ahead of me. Wait 20 minutes for coffee capsules? Seriously? I left empty-handed, wondering: was this system designed by someone who thinks their coffee is so special we'll waste our lives for it? Or just someone completely clueless about time management? Luxury? Please. The iPad guy loiters, The staff seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. Only the tall young guy was friendly and helpful, but he was clearly overwhelmed. This system is useless and a complete waste of time.

I came across 'Nespresso Boutique,' inside Bloomingdale's, Costa Mesa, CA., hosting a Mother's Day/2024 Private event here in South Coast Plaza. I was able to smell the coffee scents when I watched the event from where I took the Boutique pics. I actually thought 'Nespresso,' coffee makers would only be sold on Amazon!!!! It's So cool they actually hold a Boutique at South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA. If my current Cuisinart breaks, I'll be back to try 'Nespresso.' I learned that from browsing around here: They sell Nespresso coffee makers that produce cappuccino styled coffee and coffee capsules, pods as well as desserts such as chocolate biscuits.

Ask the Community - Nespresso Boutique at Bloomingdales

Are they currently doing tasting or still not offering due to covid?

Yes - Covid was 6 years ago - catch up!!

    Do they have outlets?

Outlets? For what charging your phone? It isn't a coffee shop. They sell machines and pods to make Nespresso branded coffee and will let you taste it. So they'll give you a free coffee or espresso, but there isn't a spot to sit and luxuriate.

I've seen this place on IG some time ago and was interested in checking it out anyway. Really like the motorcycle and vintage typewriter theme in a mechanics garage turned into a coffee shop. This place reminds me of Carbon Canyon Coffee (for the motorcycle theme) and Blue Flame Coffee (for the garage). Drinks look quite unique as well. I wanted to try its Caramel Banana Latte but wanted something light and refreshing after a heavy meal, so opted for Yuzu Tonic (with espresso) and Peach Ring Tonic with cold foam (seasonal special). Both drinks were excellent, but I think the price is high and portion is small compared to other places. I wouldn't complain too much about the price if these were served in a 16 oz. cup like most places but these were served in 12 oz. cups. Still giving five stars because service was welcoming and friendly. Barista greeted us when we entered and when we left.

It's such a cool space and vibe inside, and the barista was so nice. I ended up getting two drinks off their spring specials, the Kyoto Fog with vanilla instead of lavender, and the Puff Puff Pass. Both were great, but I prefer the Kyoto Fog more for the tea taste. The Puff Puff Pass was refreshing with notes of pandan and coconut water. I definitely finished my drink fast and noticed more ice than I'd have liked. Overall, cool idea for a coffee shop and good drinks!
