Went to celebrate my brother's birthday. Waitress said cowboy ribeye streak 32 oz is enough for 4 people, so we ordered it based off of what she said. Waited so long for the food. When the food finally came, it was barely enough for 1. We finished the food in less than 5 minutes, and it cost us $180. When they asked us how the food was, we said honestly it wasn't enough. We thought the 32 oz would be more filling for the 4 of us (as they had told us). We felt cheated. The waitress brought the manager, and he offered two desserts as compensation instead of bringing actual food. At the end, manager only brought one dessert which didn't even taste good. Instead of listening to my perspective and trying to come up with a good solution, he accused us of wanting free food. Wish we had taken photos of the steak. I wish there was a 0 star option. Two weeks ago, we reserved a table for new year eve at 9pm with no problem. They reached us last night that we have only 2 hour to stay at the restaurant. Who goes to a restaurant for the new year military style and leave before the new year count down. They should have told us at the time of reservation. There are no words to express this place. Kosher steakhouse with amazing food. We ordered a few starters and for our main we ordered the rib eye steak. Everything was sheer cuisine excellence. Service was superb the waiters were extremely friendly and professional and offered us the best wine I've ever tasted, we even ended up buying a bottle of it. Came for a girls night out and left very disappointed. Ambiance and music is great but it stops right there. Food was mediocre at best and customer service was way below average. When prices are so high you should at least get good customer service. Ordered margaritas for the table. Each drink was exactly half full when it arrived. In addition, there was one very large ice cube in the drink. My friends and I wondered why is this $19 spicy margarita coming half full? One friend took the ice out and the 50% liquid no joke went lower to like 30% full. Maybe less. We complained and it got us nowhere. We measure everything and this is how it is. That was their explanation. We go to restaurants weekly and never before have our drinks arrived half full then later to be put down from the manager for complaining. We paid about $100/plate for steaks and they wouldn't even accommodate our drinks to be full. The manager not only would not accommodate us but she even rude about it. Like we measure your drink and that's it so why are you complaining? This place needs to learn customer service. If you want good music u can just play your Spotify playlist. It's not bad, but it's not absolutely amazing, which for this price tag it should be! The manager is also extremely rude and non-accommodating. Looked like she was barking at her waiters from what I observed and refused to accommodate any of the requests we made when booking the reservation. Overall just a terrible attitude for a manager of a restaurant to have. Oh, it's also so loud in here that I'd you're coming for a romantic date night, don't even bother. My favorite restaurant in LA. Best FOOD, Best SERVICE, Best VIBE, Best CROWD. It just keeps getting better every time I go. DJ some nights makes it so fun. LA needs more restaurants like this. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Some of my personal favorite dishes are the braised short ribs, Waygu pasta, Moroccan cigars, and any of their fish or sushi dishes. We had a reservation by the bar. We were hesitant at first but had no option so we took our seat at the bar. We got treated by the bar tenders like king and queen. Everyone kept checking on us to make sure we were extremely happy with everything. One of our orders got slightly mixed up and they replaced it plus added 3 more things on the house. You need to update ur Yelp page and photos. After looking at the pictures I decided to celebrate my birthday at Next Door. The food was delicious and very pricey. I didn't realize it was kosher but that's ok. I saw the pictures of the chocolate cigars and thought it would be a show stopper so unique. Chose the restaurant primarily because of that. Finished our meal and tried to order the chocolate cigars only to find out it's been discontinued. So so disappointed. Service was great. Food was great. My daughter is allergic to nuts and do we had no option for dessert at the restaurant since their only cake had hazelnuts. Need a bit more variety on the menu too. read more

JUST WOW!!! prepared perfectly! We had all sorts of dishes to accommodate all our guests from fish to steak, lamb and perfectly roasted veggies. The Sashimi we had was probably my favorite dish, along with the Lamb Chops (must try). Dessert was a full event with so many options we didn't know where to start and even a live fire show!
