From the attentive service to the fresh preparation of drinks and food, Ni Tuyo knocked my socks off!! The drink menu is innovative and I especially loved the dress up of mezcal in their cocktails. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. Mezcal Flight: Loved the different flavors and offerings. Perfect for the mezcal-loving and smoky hearted individuals. Nate, the owner, is incredibly passionate about sharing his love and knowledge of mezcals -- if you get the chance, ask him about his favorites! If you are not sold on mezcal, he will find one perfect for you! Cocktails: Each was served in their own type of glass, representative of the vibe of the cocktail. Carefully curated and easy to sip quickly; La Chuparosa was my personal favorite. Wonderful balance of fruit and smoke. Chips, Salsa, and Guacamole: Fresh and full of flavor. Each salsa was distinct from the next. Classic restaurant style consistency; I loved it! Guacamole was chunky and fab. Cielo Mar y Tierra Molcajete: This was my favorite molcajete we ordered! The flavors were authentic and on point. A large amount of food and perfect for sharing. Meat and shrimp were cooked perfectly! Mariscos Molcajete: SO much fish and an amazing bang for your buck. The accompanying toasted bread and white wine, garlic, red pepper dipping sauce was delicious. If you're a seafood lover, don't miss this dish! Pork Belly Taco: I will be ordering this taco every time I come to Ni Tuyo! Not too fatty, beautifully flavored, and such a delicious dynamic with the habanero salsa and grilled pineapple. A must-get here! Camaron Taco: Classic, easy to eat, and filling. Simply delicious! Overall, 5 raving stars!!! The vibe was relaxed and warm. The food was hot and fresh. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I recommend coming here with a group (or a date!) and sharing appetizers, molcajetes, and tacos so you can get a taste of multiple items on the menu. The signature molcajete, was the most flavorful dish I've ever had in my lifetime. We have become regulars, and look forward to every experience. I have been blessed to eat in restaurants from Alaska to Argentina, and all points in between, and nothing compares to the tomatillo sauce in the dish. It's a must try ! read more

Customer service...hottest commodity in town. Ni Tuyo has nailed it. My husband and I came home here for a last minute dinner. From the moment we were greeted until the moment we left, every person working working there was insanely friendly. It WAS a couple of weeks ago, so I came exactly recall what we ate. As an appetizer we had corn cake situation. So flavorful. We shared one of their big bowls for dinner. Many delicious flavors. For us at least, it was something different...not our usual Mexican fare. The drinks were (Marg for him, Paloma for me) were light and refreshing. I think our server, Gina (amazing) said the juices were fresh squeezed. Embarrassed to say we got dessert, but we did. Recently dined at Ni Tuyo for the first time. Margaritas were great!!! We ordered the MOLCAJETES - Cielo mar y tierra (see menu) and couldn't believe how delicious it was! Steaming Steak, Chicken & Shrimp in a lava type bowl (MOLCAJETES) with green peppers & cheese in a delicious spicy sauce. They offer both corn & flour tortillas - so we had them Both! The birria tacos here were the best I've ever had. Chicken tacos were meh. They screwed up our order and we got 2 different types of veggie taco, which were surprisingly good. Elote was 4 chunks in a bowl of broth... but they were amazing. Coin style margaritas were good, not great. Their signature "Chuparosa" cocktail was kinda bitter, but drinkable. Wife ordered the Morisquta, which was phenomenal. Flan was better than average. We'll definitely be back. read more

A favorite neighborhood go to until yesterday. Waited longer then 45 minutes to be seated which we normally don't mind, until we sat in the very back of the restaurant where they turned the lights off at 9:00. The Sangria was more club soda & fruit juice, the margarita watered down. Chips, Guac & Salsa flight arrived with guac & one salsa. The Molcajete!s normally enough to share were small and looked like the dregs of anything leftover had been thrown in. Plus they were missing the cheese. A key ingredient to the whole dish. Any place can have a bad night but when a long black hair was clinging to a chip from the salsa and the server says what do you want me to do about it? And the owners response is "it happens" it gave us pause to want to go back any time soon. The final bill did credit the salsa but the owner never returned and there were no apologies for the hair. read more

Overall, some solid Mexican food. Birria taco was good with fairly tender meat. The consommé was average. Had better. The pork rib dish had great flavor, but the ribs were over cooked. Tres leches cake tasted really fresh and homemade (texture was amazing) but would have liked a little more of a caramel/milk flavor to it. Friendly service. read more

I visited with a friend that had not idea what some of the foods were. We had to visit yelp and google most items to see what they were. If you serve uncommon entrees you need to help your customer. 10/10!!! All of the cocktails we got were so delicious!! We got the chips with guacamole and the salsa trio and all just about fell off our chairs with how tasty (and addicting) the salsa were. All of them were a home run. And the star of the show was the Molcajetes. We shared the beef, chicken, shrimp combo for 3 people and it was perfectly filling and absolutely to die for! This is our favorite Mexican restaurant of all time! The owners are amazing and hands on. We have been following the owners with some of their other restaurant locations they have worked at for years. But now they have their own and it's amazing. They have spent immense time in Mexico living and learning all the food and beverage high points. But not only that they take what they know from Mexico and adapt and create their own amazing twist on the lovely delicacies that make Mexican food and drink so amazing. Their Molecajete options are above any we've been exposed to and the flavors are out of this world. Their lineup of the traditional spirits of Mexico is immense and presentations of the Mezcal, Tequila and Raicilia can't be beat, we have never experienced such delights!! We had an amazing Mezcal flight, and several mixed cocktails done superbly!! They source several of the finer things and details of the dishes from all over to get just the right mix of goodness. And wow, you must finish off with dessert. If you are not a dessert person, you will become one. We cannot forget about the service, it is extremely great, whether the hostess, food runner, server, or owner coming to check on us. Top notch. You will not be disappointed in this dining experience. We are not from Denver but we will always stop by here when in town. read more

I wish I could give this new Bonnie Brae gem six stars! We stopped in for an early dinner on a Tuesday and the place was buzzing with great energy. The newly remodeled space is inviting and comfortable with a warm fresh feel. Our meal was outstanding. The tacos were some of the best I've ever had (if not the best I've ever had, and I've been eating Mexican food for forty years!). All three salsas served with the salsa flight were unique and delicious. So good, we wanted to bring a tub of the green salsa home! The Aguachile lime shrimp appetizer was perfect for a hot summer evening - fresh, light and tasty. The service was friendly, attentive, helpful, and fun.
