I have tried western bagel and this place as the two bagel known places in Santa Clarita valley. I was expecting this place to be like Panera bread but with bagels. It was not. The interior is very nice. The decoration on the inside with the black and white tiles make a great design. There is a bathroom and a billboard with the menu. Prices are steep for what you are receiving. The bagel I ordered was a jalapeño bagel with brisket. It was $10 for the cheaper option of 1 egg. The bagel itself? Small. Very small and when I compare the bagel between this place and the western bagel. The bagel here is smaller. The taste is great, but for $10 it is overpriced and I am disappointed with the value. What a shame. Service was fast and decent. The employees were not hateful at the job and were quick to deliver. There were only three customers so maybe it is worse if there are a lot on the weekend. I went on lunch hour and surprised nobody came. The items are unique and I don't think other places you can get these ingredients. The pricing however, needs to be adjusted because there is no way this bagel should cost $10. I would adjust even with inflation to be around $6 for what you are getting. This includes a decent profit margin but also what it is worth to the customer. I don't know if I would come back. The quantity and quality seem to be lower than I expected and it was a huge minus.

Glad I looked at my bagel sandwich before taking a bite... Can't help but wonder if the vegetables here don't get washed? Or how the employee making my bagel didn't even realize there was still sticker on my tomato?

Did a mobile order today for a bakers dozen on the Noah's app and went to pick it up 10 mins later and it was ready. It was busy inside with a line so I'm glad I did a mobile order. Bagels were fresh and tasty. After visiting this location a couple times now, this is probably one of my favorite Noah's compared to others in the SFV.

    Beautiful heart bagel

Today is Mother's Day. I went to buy bagels. I was not expecting this, but I received a very beautiful bagel. This was my first gift for day and it made my day. Thank you so much.

Worst Nova Lox I have ever seen x2
    Dorian B.

My wife went here at 7:30am to get 2 nova lox and a half dozen bagels. The two Lox bagels were such a mess they practically went straight in the trash. None of the ingredients could stay in the sandwich they were cut so thick it was not good, there was an enormous amount of cream cheese in each, and both bagels were not entirely cut down the middle. Waste of money. Won't be going here again. If I could give 0 stars I would.

No box - delivered in a bag

The worst customer service ever, we order for our businesses all the time here. They forgot the shmear on the bagel order and she claims it was in the box. We never received a box it was in a bag, then proceeds to state she's not going back and forth. None of our stores will ever order here again

It seemed as though there were about 10-12 tables inside, and all the employees work with one another to wait on the tables. We showed up around 10:45am on a Saturday morning, and to our surprise there was no wait. We were sat immediately and ordered a cappuccino and Arnold Palmer to drink. Then, I ordered the Salmon Benny with home potatoes, while my partner ordered the Churro waffle combo. It did take about half an hour to get our food, but it was well worth how fresh everything tasted. My salmon benny came on an everything bagel with cream cheese, and the salmon was served cold (in a delicious/ good way, not like it was frozen. I just wanted to make a note of this because usually when eating a salmon benedict the salmon gets warm from the temperature of the english muffin and egg). Then, the home potatoes had onions, and bell peppers and I kept commenting on how fresh the bell peppers tasted. My partner had the churro waffle with eggs, sausage and bacon. They really nailed the churro flavor of the waffle. Both our plates were completely devoured with no leftovers to take home. For our two drinks, two entrees (and the added combo to the churro waffle) it ended up being $53, which we found to be extremely reasonable for the quality, portion size, and service provided. The only thing I would mention was the parking lot gets a little crowded. They share a parking lot with the other stores in the plaza, and there were several spots open only because there were a lot of bigger cars who were over the line. No fault to the restaurant itself, just something to be aware of.

You can tell the food here is truly made with love. The women working were so warm and hospitable, especially with our little ones. They had coloring books and drawing supplies, baby forks, and high chairs ready to go. Even the bathroom was thoughtfully set up with a changing station and a toddler potty. It's clear that every detail has been carefully considered to make families feel welcome. The food was equally impressive. The cottage cheese pancakes were a huge hit with the kids, and we loved that they were packed with protein. My wife's steak sandwich was delicious, and the Russian dumplings were devoured by both the kids and the adults. I had the veggie protein bowl, which was absolutely fantastic, and the smoothies were incredibly fresh and light. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which came with an arugula salad, along with a dirty chai. The sandwich was good, but it lacked a bit of flavor. I think that may have been because I ordered it without the cheese. I still ate the whole sandwich, so it was definitely enjoyable--I just think it could have used a flavorful sauce to bring everything together. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito with a chai latte. She loved both the burrito and her drink and had no complaints. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our meal. My only complaint is that while the menu offers plenty of gluten-free and vegan options, there are very few dairy-free choices. Overall, though, we had a pleasant experience and would return.

I always try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but for the price point, the quality simply wasn't there. Nothing tasted fresh or memorable, and we left feeling underwhelmed. Based on our experience, I don't see what makes this place stand out in a city with so many breakfast options. You're drawn in by the familiar, comfortable design featuring mirrored signs with writing in Victorian style fonts that also continues onto the menus. They have marble tables and counters, with comfortable chairs, and lots of light coming in through the windows. The staff is all smiles and very welcoming, happy to help you navigate the very interesting bill of fare, and making sure your cocktail is made exactly as you like. I was dining solo, so I sat at the bar, and James took excellent care of me from start to finish. I asked for a Bombay Sapphire Martini with Olives; James immediately offered regular or blue cheese-stuffed olives, and asked if I preferred the martini shaken or stirred. The drink that emerged was well-balanced, cold and very tasty. The menu is filled with all sorts of interesting choices. Some are familiar items like salads and fishes and hamburgers or cheesesteak sandwiches done in their way -- but my eye immediately went to a very unique starter: Duck Fat Potato Confit. Say what? As James explained, it is a whole potato that has been slow cooked in duck fat (confit, as we know) and served as the main attraction in the dish as one might similarly feature a duck leg or short rib. I had to order this, and this turned out to be one of the most rewarding dishes I've eaten in a long time. The aforementioned, slow-cooked potato initially appears a bit like a whole boiled potato, but looks are deceiving. Because of the cooking method, the potato holds it's consistency and shape much more than a boiled or baked potato, cutting almost like a protein. It's solid but tender, and as it has absorbed quite a bit of flavor during the cooking, this potato is far tastier on its own than those other iterations. But you are NOT eating this potato unadorned. Oh no, this potato is dressed with caramelized onions, smoky bacon lardons, wild mushrooms and a rich, very flavorful demi-glace. All together, you've layers upon layers of flavor that make you ignore all distractions and really concentrate on the pleasure you're getting from the food. But that's not all... Perhaps the cleverest element of a dish composed entirely of clever elements is the Mornay Sauce. Snow white, and with enough of just the right cheese to add texture to the Bechemel without becoming too powerful, the sauce is plated on the bottom, with the potato resting atop it. Visually, this looks like mashed potatoes served underneath a protein, and it plays the same role texturally -- but because you wouldn't serve potatoes with a potato, the sauce is a lighter accompaniment, whose flavor marries perfectly with the complex sauce above, and you cannot help but marvel at this stroke of culinary magic. Just wow. I finished with a dessert of Key Lime Budino, which was rich and creamy with a serious hit of sour from the Key Lime. A nice and refreshing shift after the savory richness of my entree. How lucky are the people of Newhall and Santa Clarita that they have a restaurant making such interesting and excellent food? I come up at least once a month for a music event, and how lucky am I to have discovered this place to eat beforehand? And by the way: if you live in the San Fernando Valley, this place is really less than 30 minutes away (without traffic), so the next time you're thinking of going over the hill to a place in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica, you may want to head North instead. I promise you, The Old Town Junction will become your new favorite.
