It's 12:30 on a Saturday! 12:30pm...uh...lunchtime? And, when you walk in, all the chairs are faced leg upwards on the tables. The workers who work there have THE most miserable disposition... not a smile, not happy. Two months ago, I entered on a Saturday at about the same time...LUNCHTIME and they turned me away...same chairs upside down on the tables not inviting us in the door...same thing. You need to know I don't write bad reviews, but this owner needs to know about his inept employees. Sad thing is "Noah's NY Bagels" is my favorite at other locations. Today (5/24/25) I went to Noah's Bagels on the Old Road in Valencia. Honestly, I'm shocked at how poorly trained the employees are in terms of being sanitary with food. I ordered a bagel sandwich, coffee, and muffin. As I was preparing my coffee, my name was called indicating my sandwich was ready. I tried to finish preparing my coffee (getting some sugar packets so I could add them to my coffee at home). I was holding my muffin and sugars in one hand and my coffee in the other. I asked the person working at the register if I could have a bag to put my muffin and sugars in because I was having a difficult time holding them. She hands me a bag, and as I'm putting my muffin and sugar in the bag, a customer pointed out that I had dropped a sugar packet on the floor on accident. I intended to pick up the sugar packet, but the lady working at the register then proceeded to pick up the sugar packet, and she tried putting it in the bag where my muffin and sugars were in. I told her, "No!". Why would I want to have a sugar packet that was on the floor placed in my bag with my food!?!?? Why would I even want to use it??????? That's disgusting and unsanitary. Don't managers train their employees on sanitation? In the meantime, I have no idea where my sandwich is... I finally asked because I couldn't see it anywhere. I was told that it was on the counter. Went in this morning and ordered a single spinach and swiss bagel extra toasted. What I received was a barely warm bagel . I then went back to have them remake it and they proceeded to toast it appropriately but pretty much left out all cream cheese this time but I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to check once again and have them remake my order. It's decent, and it's the most affordable bagel shop in town. Western Bagels is close by and delicious but they can be pricey. However, service at Western Bagels is at a higher standard in comparison to Noah's Bagels. I came in and the staff would not toast and slice all of my bagels that I purchased for my staff. We were having a meeting, and I inquired about having them toasted. Due to the line growing, and understaffed shop, I was denied. It was disappointing and it left a lasting impression on me. If you're looking for deals, and not getting them as gifts, consider stopping here. But if you're looking to buy breakfast for your staff and family in the morning, I'd reconsider. I would give a negative rating if possible. The assistant manager, Myra, is the worst I've ever encountered. I ordered a farmhouse sandwich over the phone and was asked if I wanted double eggs, as they always confirm it for the farmhouse sandwich order. However, when I arrived to pick up my order, it was incorrect. Instead of taking responsibility, Myra blamed me for picking up the wrong order, despite me confirming with another worker who handed me the bag. To make matters worse, she rolled her eyes at me. My friend and I have been coming to this location for a long time now and we love the fresh morning bagels! The French toast one is super yummy! The service is excellent. This morning, I had trouble logging into my Noah's app to redeem my rewards, but the young lady named Sierra, who was super patient, helped me regardless of the long line that was increasing by the second! She was kind, understanding, and everything a customer needs when the pressure is on when it's busy rush hour. Went yesterday and we ordered 2 open faced bagels with lox, tomato, cream cheese & onion. When we got them and took a bite, it was horrible. Bagel was doughy. Hardly any cream cheese, the lox was all chopped up into little pieces & they only had 1 slice of onion left at noon that I had to tell them to split between both bagels. I went back in & asked for a full refund. They explained that that everything is pre-measured & meant for a "sandwich style" bagel. I know it's a birthday reward, but if you still have basically an hour until closing, you shouldn't turn people away, especially on their birthday.Now I understand that low stars. To address the wait times, I started using the app. However, I've encountered situations where I've ordered sandwiches, only to find out upon arrival that they don't have the type of bread I selected. Furthermore, when using the app, it offers a free coffee option which I choose because I enjoy coffee. However, on some occasions, I've been told that the free coffee didn't go through. Although they provided the drink, it's frustrating when expectations are not met. Today, I placed an order for bagel sandwiches and a free iced coffee through the app, expecting it to be ready based on the estimated time provided. However, I arrived and waited without any acknowledgement. Eventually, one of the workers noticed me but didn't display a friendly attitude. I had to ask about my order, and they responded in a matter-of-fact tone. After waiting for another 10 minutes, I received my order, but the coffee was missing. When I asked about it, the same worker dismissed me with a cold demeanor. The guy who handed me my sandwiches was clearly not going to help me. So I patiently waited for the cashier to address the issue, which took an additional 5 minutes as she seemed preoccupied. Eventually, I explained the situation and showed her the promotional message in my app indicating a free drink with the order. She reluctantly agreed. Employees at this establishment are obviously not happy working there and need work on their customer service skills. I'm usually very patient with the workers and overlook mistakes they make and the wait times (even after using the app in advance), but after today, I was annoyed at the way they were handling my order. Later, I found that none of my sandwiches weren't even cut in half...as if that guy purposely didn't bother to put my order together the right way. I would've overlooked this, but their recent rude behaviors really ruined it for me. Overall, I've been disappointed with the recurring issues of missing items, long wait times, and the unhelpful attitude displayed by some of the staff. I got there and was trying to look for the pickup area but when I tried to ask a worker about it they ignored me (again I understand they might've been busy or I was too quiet). My dude and I were on our way up north for the holidays and stopped at this place for a break and grab a bit. Never been. Noah's is right next to Starbucks so we had to choose between a potential good bagel and average drink or potential good drink and average bagel. We went with the former. So glad we did. Of course it was very busy given the weekend before Christmas. All the employees I saw were very calm and nice to the customers. Even when some were not self aware and some not paying attention to their kids hitting people with toys. Anywho, we got two bagel sandwiches and an iced coffee; hummus veggie on sourdough and the turkey club on potato. Both were delicious! Potato bagels are underrated. I don't even think many people know they exist....outside of the east coast anyways. I asked for no tomato. When they realized they put the tomato on, they let me know at which time I said it was fine. It is only a preference anyways. Later when I opened my sandwich, it was gone! Even with the crowd, they still noticed and corrected my order without skipping a beat. Fiona, the cashier, killed it with my simple yet glorious vanilla cold brew. She asked how many pumps I'd like. I have never been asked that so I asked for whatever would make it not so sweet but with some taste. It came back perfect. Nice job Fiona. Much appreciated. I went in to get bagel sandwiches for me and my staff a few days ago and the line was very long. Nothing wrong with that. What was upsetting was that by the time I got to the front of the line I started to place my order and the manager taking my order stopped me to tell the employee next to him to give this lady that was in front of me 15% off for the long wait. He then went on to take my order and said they ran out of eggs they only had egg whites so I said that's fine I'm good with the egg whites. So he rings me up and there was no 15% off. I watched the next 10 people/families order and he didn't give any of them 15% off. I guess he was only giving 15% off to women he felt was attractive. To top it off, I get to my shop and give the guys their food. We opened the first one up and it was supposed to be the Texas briaket one and it looked beyond pathetic. See picture below. Had maybe a half ounce of brisket. Will never be going to this Noah's ever again. Everyone beware of the sexism and skimpy sandwiches. I want to say the food is good. I've gotten bagels of all types and sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. They were good. I wouldn't recommend anyone go out of their way for it but if you live nearby, have a hankering for a bagel or just want something other than Starbucks or McDonalds before getting to work, this is a good choice. It is a bit expensive, especially if you're just buying for yourself. A bagel and a drink, or a sandwich is gonna put you close to $20. For a price like this, I'd rather get Panera bread or corner bakery. If you're buying bagels by the dozen, it's not as bad. They've got decent pricing if you're buying for the office. My main issue is with customer service. I ordered online using a delivery service. After an hour I tried contacting the delivery person, the service company and the restaurant. Turns out the ticket never came through at the restaurant and the order was cancelled. I tried calling the restaurant to see if it was a blip and if I should try again. The person on the phone was extremely defensive and told me to take it up with the delivery company. Before I could clarify and try to explain they hung up the phone. read more

My first ever visit to this establishment on 5/12/2023 will also be my last. My first notice was that the bagels looked flat and over-baked. Six people worked behind the counter. I stood by the bagels, where one would normally stand and place an order for bagels. One woman working on something behind the bagel display case acknowledged my existence enough to nod with her head as she told me that ordering happened to my left. I went left and stood in front of a checkout station where moments earlier an employee stood ringing up someone's purchase. I stood there for five minutes watching all six workers move about, focusing on tasks and occasionally talking with each other. No one greeted me or welcomed me. No one asked if I had been helped. Then a customer who entered the store after me stepped up to the register next to me and a server stepped up on the other side of the checkout and took his order. That was the last straw. Finally one of the girls came to ask me what I needed, no greeting. She seemed annoyed to actually be doing her job. I asked her if the order I had placed in advance was ready to go and she appeared confused. She was unable to locate my order at first, then proceeded to mispronounce my name after I clearly stated what it was. Eventually she figured out my order was on the counter. I retrieved my order but the system had made an error with my cream cheese selection. As I was asking her if I could exchange it for the correct one, she rudely interrupts me and tells me to exchange it myself at the refrigerator. I've been to Noah's bagels several times in Manhattan Beach, despite the heavy traffic at that location, never once have I had an experience like this. When I drew attention to her deplorable attitude, she tells me that I could have just picked up the order from the counter and not inconvenienced her. This place is a disaster. I remember when this location opened and it was easily the best bagel place around. How the mighty have fallen. Let's talk about my experience today: I ordered a standard turkey sandwich with no mayo. This place used to have deli mustard or honey mustard options but now only has yellow mustard. Ok, this isn't the employees fault, but noah's take note. Yellow mustard does not belong on a deli sandwich, it belongs on a hot dog or pretzel, but definitely not a real deli sandwich. So the guy with the beard who was preparing the food seemed nice enough. But he was also kind of a smart ass (as you will see), and not the most attentive guy. He asked me how I wanted the sandwich. I repeated the standard ingredients that are already listed, but asked for no mayo. So my sandwich came with no mustard (as it was supposed to) and no onion (as it was supposed to). He also cut my bagel with the same knife he used to cut a cream cheese bagel, and cream cheese streaks got on my sandwich and paper wrapping. I don't like cream cheese so it's kinda gross. Also the cut was a bad cut so when I opened it up the sandwich fell apart. I asked for some picketed and he told me he fixed some up and put it on. Ok. Can I get some pickles on the side? Now once upon a time, and this is the normal thing to do, they give you a side of some pickle spears. But he proceeded to dice them up again. I suggested he doesn't have to do that. I don't need them diced. Regular pickle spears will do. We ordered a buttered bagel. Apparently they don't have tubs of soft butter ready to schmear as they do cream cheese...why not? So he's dabbing butter on from what seemed like wrapped. Maybe it wasn't those small pre wrapped butters like you can get at a coffee place but that's how he was applying it. The result was an almost completely dry, unbuttered bagel. I could have just ordered a plain, bland bagel. Because the bagels themselves are even more bland then I remember. Then there's the pizza bagel fiasco, and this one kinda pissed me off. I ask the girl who took my order specifically if the cheese is a blend that's premade or can I get a pizza bagel that ONLY has mozzarella. She said they can do that. I get the pizza bagel and I notice immediately that I see yellow cheddar cheese, which I don't like. I only like mozzarella and specifically asked about this. I went back and presented it to them and asked if it had cheddar on it and I was told yes. I remind them that I only wanted mozzarella and the bearded guy steps up and tells me it's a five cheese blend. I tell him I only wanted mozzarella but I see cheddar. "It's not cheddar," he answers with a straight face," it's a five cheese blend." I ask again, "I don't care how many cheeses are in the blend, do is see cheddar or not?" "Yes, he answers , "it's got cheddar too." Ok, but that's not what I wanted. He tells me that's how it comes, and he knows because he makes them. "But I didn't order from you," I remind him, "I ordered from the young lady and she told me I can get mozzarella only." He rudely answers back, "you can't, it's a five cheese blend." Yeah, I understand that now, but the girl who took my order didn't know that, so tell her instead of being rude to me." She apologized and I said no problem as they gave me a refund. Also, it's 2022, they should update their coffee Cramer options. I think oat milk has been around for a couple of years now. Overall a pretty lame experience. read more

Took my mom here this morning as we were nearby. This will be our last visit. Every item we ordered they said they didn't have any. We ordered a plain bagel with butter on the side. How can you ruin a plain bagel? Well, it tasted like something you may get in a hospital or airplane quality. In addition there was no chairs or tables! I found that odd for sure! Use to go more , then less due to the employees. Walked in no greeting , just one employee standing at the register .Went there at a non-busy time , ordered a breakfast sandwich and grabbed a drink. No straw was offered at the register ,so I looked on counter where supplies are - no straw. The young lady working saw me searching and handed me a straw. Still not busy inside , and the young man working making the food yells my name and hastily turns and drops the bag causing it to land sideways on counter but was too unconcerned to turn back around to apologize or he could have just handed me the bag. Since covid, almost all my reviews are based on the food I get delivered. No more indoor experience for me, only know if the staff is friendly when I call or pick it up. Overall, Noah's bagels is a hit and miss depends on which store you are going. I think this one deserves better than 3.5 stars. The order came correct, food was as ordered and tasty.
