We've been loyal Noble Bread fans for years (as we purchase it often from the Old Town Farmers Market), so I'm not sure why it took me so long to make my way to dine at Noble Eatery. Sigh... I didn't realize that I was missing out on what I may possibly now consider my new favorite lunch spot after just one visit. I love a fast casual concept and this one is no exception. When you walk in, you are met with smiles from friendly employees and the scrumptious scent of fresh bread. Check out the menu offerings on the chalkboard (which change daily / seasonally), and then order and pay at the counter. I don't think you can make a wrong decision as the bites, grains, legumes, salads, and sandwiches all sound pretty delicious and are as fresh as can be. On a recent visit, I talked my husband into sharing an order of the avocado toast with me. Three thick slices of avocado+tomato+chimayo chile powder come to the order and it's by far the best avocado toast I've ever had... I also somehow made room for a chopped salad. This one comes with spicy salame+provolone+pepperoncini+tomato+oregano vinaigrette. It's chopped and dressed perfectly and is also an extremely generous portion. Delicious. So much in fact that I did not even take a bite of the turkey sandwich that my husband ordered, despite the fact that he raved about it. Easily one of my most favorite farmers market pick ups, a loaf of bread from noble eatery makes everything this amateur chef cook taste so good. I have only had the bread for one day and have already made an egg sandwich and grilled cheese. Definitely "artisan" . Will need to come visit noble eatery for the real deal soon. read more

I have never been to Noble eatery before and was looking very forward to it. The website does not mention that they serve salads and sandwiches so I had no idea what I would be walking into. I chose the chefs sandwich which consisted of Italian pork, gardenaria, broccoli rabe and some strange seasoning, I guess, that I didn't like at all. I took the sandwich apart as much as I could and taste each individual ingredient is best I could. It was definitely the meat that tasted moldy. However the bread was delicious. When I went back to say the sandwich doesn't taste good. It actually tastes moldy. The man said "you just didn't like it. The garbage is over there." I won't be going back I've never been to a business that didn't want to accommodate you so that you would come back. Buyer beware! This was a $15 mistake. read more

Let me start by saying the bread is a 5. No question about it. I love their location and the vibe of this place. It's great to be able to see the bread being baked in the wood fired oven. Their menu includes salads, sandwiches and side dishes. I've been here twice and I first tried the chef's special of the day which was Al pastor sandwich that was delicious. My second time I tried the noble grain bowl/salad which was good. The menu item I liked the most is there take and bake lasagna. It serves 4-5 people and includes a lasagna, salad and bread (you can pick any loaf). It was delicious and easy to bake if you're too lazy to cook. The reason I'm taking down a star is that they serve you in disposable plates, I think the experience would be nicer if they hade proper dinnerware and second their hours are kinda tricky if you work. They're only open M to F from 10 to 3 pm. You still can get their bread at the farmers market on Saturdays but I would love for the restaurant to be opened on the weekends. I overall love the concept and their food so I will keep making room in my schedule during the week to visit them. read more

I picked up a delectable Noble Grain Bowl bowl here on my way home. It was prepared quickly and handling was top notch in the new CoVid Protocol environment. Staff was friendly and polite as I tried to decide what to order. The bowl definitely had more grain that greens, so when I got him i added some more super greens and tossed it up with the remaining dressing. It was delicious and the layers of dressing, squash, and beets were all proportional. read more

Very disappointed in my experience today. First off, the staff was extremely unfriendly. Second, the tuna sandwich was not prepared with anything, it was dry tuna on bread. I told the staff that the sandwitch didn't taste good and they didn't offer to take it back or exchange it with anything else. read more

The sandwich I got was decent, but the side salad was disgusting! I can't tell if that amount of salt was intentional or accidental. The mixed greens were pretty dry, so it wasn't really an issue with the dressing, but it was saltier than movie theater popcorn. Noble bread is a wonderful place to eat a delicious sandwich and then buy a few loaves to take home. I usually buy their breads at the farmer's markets but am avoiding the horrible heat right now. I will return to try more of the imaginative sandwiches on offer. read more

Never am I compelled to write a review right after tasting food from a restaurant, but today that all changed. Earlier today I took my bi-monthly trip to Noble Eatery to get a sandwich and two loaves of Country Bread. Mind you this is close to a 45 minute round trip from my house, but I just love Noble that much! This time I added a Red Velvet Brownie because we were celebrating a friend's birthday this evening via Zoom. Oh my Gosh, the Red Velvet Brownie is to die for! It is just freaking amazing. You have to try it. Now this is on top of the absolutely delicious Italian Sandwich I had for lunch and two loaves of bread I'm going to get to enjoy. I'll probably regret all the carbs tomorrow, but Noble has very high-quality food at reasonable prices. read more

Came in for the first time today and wow it was amazing. I don't know how I've never heard of this place, but I've seen their name on restaurant menus since they deliver their bread wholesale around the valley and then saw the restaurant was close to my house. Their sandwiches and their bread are to die for. The guy at the front, Darren was so nice and helpful. I couldn't decide which sandwich to try so I went with the roast beef special (yum!!) and Darren ended up bringing me the other sandwich for me to try which I thought was so thoughtful. I had been wanting to visit Noble Eatery for forever! However, it's not super close to where I live or work and their hours are...not ideal. They are only open Monday through Friday from 10:30 until 3. So unless you work in the Biltmore area, you are probably not going to be able to visit Noble Eatery. I finally took a PTO day and wasn't out of town and so I put Noble Eatery on my to-do list for the day. I ordered the Noble Toast Trifecta. They have four toast options (avocado, mushroom, burrata, and tuna) and you chose 3. It's $12.50, which I found reasonable for the portion size and the amount of toppings on the toast. The Noble bread is really the rock star of the dish. It's fresh and has great flavor and texture. But the toppings were a little bland. My favorite was by far the mushroom, which has ricotta and, I think, hunny on it! This one was the most flavorful of the three I tried. I also enjoyed the burrata toast, because the burrata itself was quite good and I love fresh tomatoes. The avocado toast was unfortunately way too bland. They were very generous with the amount of avocado but what's the point if it doesn't have any flavor. As an aside, I was bummed they don't serve coffee. Any place that opens before noon should have coffee. At least a simple drip coffee. And the food is served either in a to go container or paper plates. I understand the to go containers because I'm sure a lot of people are just picking up lunch and heading back to the office. But for those that are eating in house, the paper plates seemed cheap. Real plates or baskets or even some sort of disposable tray would be way better. I want to come back and give Noble Eatery another try. I think the next time around, I would order one of the sandwiches. But with their limited hours, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it back. read more

After trying noble bread at various restaurants throughout the valley I was very excited to have lunch at the storefront at 24th and Camelback. The store is not very large, there is limited parking out front and more out back. My friend and I didn't have to wait to order, I ordered the turkey and bacon sandwich and my friend ordered the trifecta on noble bread including the tuna, burrata, and avocado. My sandwich was a great portion and came with a lightly dressed salad. My friend enjoyed her bread trio, her favorite was the tuna, followed by the burrata but would order any of the three again. For desert we both ordered the nutella loaf, which was absolutely incredible. We sat outside on one of the several tables and really enjoyed our meal. I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop here because I saw the Noble Bread sign. I have never had Noble bread but had heard so much about it. It was quite busy as it was lunch time. People seated eating sandwiches and "bowls" of stuff which I know nothing about. My eyes went to directly to the bread baskets behind the counter and I leaned over to take a closer look. My eyes met a dark, long baguette which was reminiscent of the baguettes I picked up every morning a few steps from my apartment in Paris. The most delicious bread on the planet! I took my precious Noble baguette and prepared to devour it, or at least a chunk of it--with butter of course, just as in Paris. I grabbed the end and disengaged it from the rest of the baguette and was happy at the nice, crunchy snap it had. I slathered it with butter and took my first bite. Then took the second bite. I had hope the bread would wow me, but perhaps the comparison to real Parisian bread set me up for disappointment. To all the people who were eating at Noble Bread, enjoy! This is some top notch bread! Coming from someone who has attempted to make their own natural sourdough starter and has sometimes succeeded at making a decent loaf, baking a good bread is hard! I was impressed to hear that Noble Bread's products are all naturally leavened. According to their website, it takes 36 hours to make one loaf of bread and all the flour they use is non GMO and organic. 36 hours! And here I was getting impatient at waiting several hours for my dough to rise! I stopped here for lunch, hungry for a savory sandwich. I opted for the Vegetali ($10.50), a sandwich with ingredients such as portobello, hand pulled mozzarella and tomato. It was served with a large portion of mixed greens salad. When it came out I was initially surprised that it was served in more of a rustic looking flatbread/pita bread rather than slices but it looked delicious nonetheless. The actual bread was delectable. Despite being so thin, it still had a lovely airy crumb on the interior, and was so soft and pillowy with a nice chewy crust. It went perfect with the vegetables and the flavors and textures meshed really well with each other. The side salad was good, I loved the peppery arugula and lightly sweet vinaigrette. I did get a few unpleasant clumps of large salt granules in some bites of salad though. I'm finding this a lot more common these days. Am I the weird one that feels like I shouldn't be able to discern the granules of salt on my plate (Assuming you aren't using fleur de sel or something fancy like that)? Service was succinct but friendly at the counter. Tables are off to the side and while it got busier later on in the lunch hour I don't think anyone had a problem finding a seat that wanted to dine in. read more

My "running partner in crime" and I finally got to try this hidden gem of a bakery and sandwich shop on Friday and it was like love at first sight! I ordered the prosciutto and burrata with fresh greens and spices while my friend ordered the tuna salad and we split and shared our dishes. The ingredients alone are so fresh and tasteful that even on their own they made a great meal, but on top of that, they were served on one of the best breads I have ever tasted! These breads at Noble are baked daily and with such simplicity that it's amazing how great they truly are. I had the opportunity to take a loaf home for my hubby to try thanks to the owner and now my hubby is ruined. He keeps comparing other breads we buy to Noble Bread! I love this bakery shop and will be one of the regulars even if I live a light year away it seems! My friend and I got there right when it opened and it didn't take long for the place to get packed! This is a casual eatery were you order at the counter and seat yourself. At the time of this review they are only open for lunch Monday threw Friday. Noble Eatery is the restaurant side of Noble Bread. Many of the best Restaurants in the Metro Phoenix area feature Noble Bread. The menu changes daily. On my visit they offered a house made soup, a couple produce sides, sandwiches made with the signature thin crusty bread pocket and Smorgas. I saw that smorgas were open faced but didn't know what they were and ordered a tuna smorgas. It was three big chunks of Crusty Noble Bread topped with a mixture of tuna, EVOO, and spelt. It was suppose to also include Home Boy Jalapeño Hot Sauce. They used a very small amount of the sauce because I didn't taste anything jalapeño there. The Bread was excellent but the tuna was just ok to me. I would order a sandwich next time. The grapefruit and strawberries with wild fennel seeds was very light and refreshing but was very light with the fennel seeds because I didn't get them in many of the bites. My husband really enjoyed the #2 Fra Mani Sandwich and the canary lentil soup with poblano chilies, farro and kale was good but also was very light with the poblanos because neither of us found them in the soup. 3.5 stars 3-5 stars depending on what you try. Parking might be tight and the tables are small and some are very close together. read more

The burrata cheese was like eating clouds with the basil oil adding a hint of sweetness along with the tomatoes. The arugula was slightly bitter which help balance out the meal. My sister and I finished by buying a loaf of bread; the walnut cranberry. I must say I was full but when I got home I couldn't help but continue eating the bread! Always a great spot for a quick, healthy, light lunch! They've got salads, sandwiches, toast and even some sweet treats. I stopped by most recently for lunch and got the Vegetali, their vegetarian sandwich. It was delicious, roasted peppers, cheese, portobello mushrooms and arugula. It also came with a salad, which if you're being healthy is a great addition. I am not a salad fan so it went wasted. My mom and I stopped in here for a late lunch. We split the caprese sandwich. The burrata cheese was creamy and sweet. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice element of texture and the arugula was the perfect complement of crunch and flavor. The bread was toasted in the pizza oven just behind the counter and it had a nice bit of char on it. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere, nice lunch crowd, and delicious food! Stopped in to try the Italian and Caprese sandwiches around lunchtime. It was definitely a popular lunch spot but there were a few available tables. Order was out very quickly! My husband and I shared the sandwiches so we could try both. The Italian was 10/10 great- excellent meat cuts, great spicy pepper blend and the sesame bread was all around fantastic. The lightly dressed side salad was generous and pretty decent, a nice balance to the sandwich. I wish I could say the same for the Caprese, but I recommend avoiding it. I think burrata mozzarella can be great if paired with the right tomato basil balsamic flavors, but it was overwhelming the other flavors. It was just a milky cold mess. The wood fired pita style bread used would be awesome on its own or with a different sandwich, but the combination of wood fire with the bland wet burrata was just not working. I worried it was just my opinion but my husband said he would have rated it a 0/10.
