Honey lavender oat latte
Trenna H.

Excited that I finally got to try Noble Joe Coffee. I often walk around the lake and see many people with the cups but I'm always a little too late or it skips my mind. So I made sure to put this on my list to try and I'm so glad I did because it was really good. The walk up from the lake was pretty short and I love how it's just tucked in a few min off the trail. The line wasn't too long when I arrived around 11am and we maybe waited around 5 minutes for our drinks. I have to say, I loved the honey oat lavender latte.... I'm obsessed with lavender in my coffee so this was a great treat. I'll definitely be back!

Great location off the lake trail, in a small lot with other food trucks. Curated set up and aesthetic. Plenty of benches to sit. Coffee flavor was smooth, non acidic - no fruity tones which is exactly how coffee should be. I will say the flavored drinks aren't as potent as I'd like. Different milk options however no 2%-1% choices. Friendly staff, very long lines to order however once the order was placed a fraction of the time to get your drink.

chaggicino and matcha latte

I'm honestly torn writing this review because our experience at Noble Joe was split between amazing and just okay. The first day we visited, the service was incredible. Staff was warm, friendly, personalized and our drinks were delicious. The chaggacino and the matcha both tasted like treats, the kind of drinks that make you slow down because you don't want it to be over. We loved them so much we knew we had to come back the next day. When we returned, it was noticeably busier, which was totally understandable, and we ordered the exact same drinks. But the chaggacino tasted completely different ): It was watery and lacking the richness that made us love it the first time. The matcha was still good, but even that tasted noticeably different from the day before. I don't want this to come off as overly negative because the staff was kind on both visits, and our first experience truly was fantastic. I just wish the drinks were a bit more consistent, because when they're good, they're really good. I'd still recommend trying it, just hoping our first-day experience becomes the norm.

This spot was super cute and different to any other coffee trucks I've been too. I will say the staff were super kind as I was super indecisive on what type of Matcha to get. I tried their Blackberry Matcha. Not a huge fan of Blackberry but the flavor wasn't overwhelming which I appreciated it. I can't wait to return to Austin again and try more off their menu!

I love Nobel Joe's coffee! My go to is a sugar free iced latte and it is always perfect here. Such a nice location right off of the trail.

Strawberry vanilla latte

Y'all why was the line so long at 9:30 in the morning anyways I was committed so I stayed and waited nearly an hour. It's located in a food truck circle and there's a decent amount of seating + some shade. I asked the barista for a latte on the sweeter side and she recommended their strawberry vanilla latte from their summer seasonal menu. Once you've placed the order they're relatively quick. Coffee is smooth, good quality and there were obviously hints of the syrup but it wasn't as sweet as I was expecting. Good coffee, long wait- if I'm back it's going to be on a weekday.

Noble Joe's is my absolute favorite spot to grab my morning cup of caffeine. I unfortunately no longer enjoy the taste of coffee (post-COVID ridiculousness) but they pretty much have the best matcha in town. Sure they may have a long line on the weekends, but it's well worth it. They have a rotating seasonal menu, which I tend to order from. Lately, I've been obsessed with their blackberry matcha and I dread the day they rotate it out. However, their Noble Matcha is a staple and absolutely delicious - this includes a delicious lavender that I'm certain they make in house. It's a truck, so all of the seating is outdoor but there's plenty of shade. It's also located right next to the trail, so it's always nice to grab a cup and go for a walk by the lake. It's also positioned right next to a brunch truck (Brunch Brunch Baby) which is a killer combo on a Sunday morning. The staff makes it a point to remember your name. They're incredibly kind and aren't shy to strike up a conversation. I go for the matcha, and stay for the NJ crew.

Mushroom coffee here slapped!! If you've never had it before do yourself a favor and try it.

This was a cute coffee food truck right off of ladybird Lake. Lots of my friends had said that this is the best coffee in Austin so I was excited to try it. I ordered a simple iced vanilla latte and I think it was really good! It wasn't too sweet and the vanilla syrup did not have any artificial flavors. It was a decent price Given its location and how expensive Coffee could be in Austin. They have a lot of specialty drinks that I would like to try in the future. I will definitely come back.

Love Noble joes vanilla latte! It's the perfect amount of bitter, sweet, and creaminess. We love walking the trail and taking a pit stop at this cute little coffee truck for a pick-me-up drink. They have a very extensive specialty menu that I've been wanting to try as well. Plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas over the tables for particularly sunny days. Some of my favorite coffee in Austin

The cutest coffee truck located in a quaint area in Austin! Noble Joe's is serving up some amazing matcha and I truly enjoyed my banana matcha that I got from them. Service was quick and friendly and seriously one of the top two matchas I've ever had. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Austin!

Iced butter vanilla oat latte

Located in Riverside and nestled right between AMLI South and the Lady Bird Lake trail, this is a cute coffee truck for anyone who lives in or frequently occupies the area. Outdoor seating available for anyone who wants to hang, or you can easily grab your drink to-go! Service is friendly and menu has great variety. They pride themselves on supporting other local business and sourcing ingredients from around Austin! Pricing ranges from $4-$7+ depending on what you order, milk and syrup add-ins, etc. Overall, it's a cute spot and the butter vanilla oat latte was tasty - I'd give it a 3.5/5. QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, there are 5 spots directly across for come and go, and plenty of street parking along S. Lakeshore Blvd. - Non-coffee options? Yes, teas, matcha, milks, and sparkling water options. - Any food? Yes, granola bowls and tacos in the morning.

My go to spot for when I want to grab a matcha or coffee before walking the Lady Bird Lake trail! Amazing customer service and drinks. I love that they have multiple matcha flavors to try from. Tried their Banana Nut matcha and it was delicious. Perfectly balanced not overly sweet!

Coffee was a bit underwhelming and didn't quite live up to the hype. The service was great though, very friendly staff!

Neither of them could finish their entire glass of beer, so I ended up chugging the remaining half of both of theirs. The customer service was so sweet--I was struggling to translate the menu with my mom, and the guy at the front desk was truly helpful throughout. It really raised the experience of this place during what could've been a relatively stressful situation. Dirty Horchata - I was hoping for a stronger horchata taste. It's not bad, so it was worth the shot! Just grateful it wasn't too sweet. My BFF felt the same, as we're both horchata fiends from growing up in Chicago. Cherry Cider - The cider has a tangy taste. The cherry flavor isn't as strong, but it's a fragrant drink. The flavor slowly became sweeter the more I drank it. It grew on me, but it wouldn't be my go-to unless I knew I was munching on something salty that night. Violet Blueberry Blonde - My favorite of the two. This one has a tamer flavor with a nicer floral note. It was exactly what I asked for. I felt like I could've easily chugged a few of these. The guy at the counter definitely chose a great pick. I love the low-key ambiance of this place, the peaceful nighttime atmosphere, the fact that it's wedged into a cozy nook, and how it isn't so LOUD like many bars. Didn't get bit by a mosquito while we hung out there for an hour, so that's a huge plus. They were probably chewing on my friends' legs too intently to consider me, though. Wish I had something like this near my place in Houston. I would regularly hang out here on a weekday, no cap.

Tons of outdoor and patio seating, a few tables indoors in the AC. I ordered the Flapjack, hot, with double espresso in a larger cup, with half sweetness (effectively a large with less services). Delicious saltiness and cinnamon! I really enjoyed this. I tried the honey lavender latte which they said was the least sweet of their fort favorites. The lavender flavor was very forward and there was a hint of sweetness on the back of the tongue, so very accurate. I didn't get as much coffee flavor here so maybe double espresso if that's important to you. Friends also tried the seasonal coconut macadamia latte (they said it was nice, like a sweet nutty flavor). Really solid coffee spot with great vibes, I'd come back.

The space is aesthetically pleasing and really calming, a great place to study or just decompress. Mixed Rice Paper with Tamarind Sauce ($12.95): Yum, probably the best banh trang tron we have had in Austin or at least the most consistently good one. They ask if you want the ingredients kept separate or mixed together. If mixed, you need to eat it right away. We have tried both ways and even when we kept them separate and ate it later it was still just as good. Rice Paper Rolls / Banh Trang Cuon ($12.50): This one is different from the mixed rice paper in that it comes rolled with egg, while the other version has quail eggs and beef jerky. I think this rolled version is becoming my preferred way to eat banh trang. The dipping sauce that came with it was also really good. Mixed Rice Paper with Chili Salt / Banh Trang Muoi Ot Tron Kho ($6.50): A bit pricey for what it is but this is hard to find in Austin and it was well made. The rice paper was the right texture and the chili salt amount was spot on. Y7. Winter Melon Icy Slush ($6.80) + Crystal Taro ($1.15): Wow this was delicious and super refreshing. It was a bit too sweet for me but perfect for my husband. I loved the crystal taro too since you can taste the subtle taro flavor when you chew it. F1. Bee Vietnamese Style ($6.80) + Lychee Jelly ($0.95): My husband ordered this one but ended up liking the winter melon icy slush more. It was not bad but just nothing special.

Every drink I've tried has been delicious, and the tea flavor really comes through in their tea-based drinks. My personal favorite is the dark-roasted oolong milk tea, which is rich, fragrant, and full of flavor. Their smoothies are also excellent, and I love that they offer avocado and durian, two of my favorite flavors that can be harder to find elsewhere. The space itself is cute, bright, and inviting. A large curved window brings in plenty of natural light, and there's lots of seating if you want to sit down, work, or study for a while. I'd highly recommend this spot for both the drinks and the atmosphere.

I ate about a quarter of this stacked nachos entree for dinner before taking a photo of it, but for about $24, it was filling and delicious and kept me full until lunch the next day! The vibes at this location are really immaculate, too. There's indoor seating at Saltillo, covered seating outdoor next to Cosmic, and lots of picnic tables and lounge pits in the yard between the two venues. Now the service. The reason why this is a 3-star review. The service was awful - at least at Saltillo. After I finished my nachos, I ordered a margarita. The way you order is - you go up to a kiosk and get a ticket number. However, the employees here don't adhere to the ticket system. To pick up my nachos, I had to ask, "Is this number 162?" And the girl behind the counter just told me to take my food without confirming. Later, I got a margarita - by also ordering at the kiosk. And waited. And waited. And eventually went up again to the counter to ask the non-English speaking employees about it. Eventually the guy behind the counter said, "I gave your margarita to that guy!" I showed him my ticket. He repeated himself. I then went outside to ask the guy outside if he had ordered a margarita. Of course he said yes! During this AWKWARD CONVERSATION THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD, the employee banged on the glass and simply gave me a smaller version of the margarita I had paid for. I did not complain. I did not argue. I shall simply order the smaller margarita next time to not get shafted.
